"Jacquie!?" Richelle shouted, chasing after the distraught teen
"What?" Jacquie responded, turning around to face Richelle
"Are you okay?" Richelle asked, concerned for Jacquie
"NO! It's my fault my mum's dead! It's all my fault Zach's dead too!" Jacquie shouted, tears streaming down her face
"Jacquie! What's brought this on all of a sudden?" Richelle asked
"Nothing. Forget I even mentioned it..." Jacquie said, staring at the floor
"Are you sure you're ok?" Richelle asked
"I'm fine." Jacquie said quickly
"Anyway... how about we catch up after rehearsal with Mateo and Romie?" Richelle said egearly
"Sure. See you around 3 at Costa?" Jacquie said
"Ok! See you then." Richelle said, smiling and walking away
At the Nolet Household:
"Dad!" Richelle shouted, "I'm home!"
"Ok sweetie!" Alan replied, walking downstairs with Caiden
"Can I got too Costa with Jacquie later at 3?" Richelle asked, taking Caiden from her dad
"Um.... sure." Alan said
"Dad? What is it? Why are you acting all strange?" Richelle said with worry in her voice
"Uh... well you know your mum left us when you were quite little..." Alan said hesitantly
"Yeah? What about it? Has she reached out to you? Does she want to meet me?" Richelle asked excitedly
"Um... no sweetie. I was just saying that it's been 11 years since she's left and I haven't found anybody since then... till now." Alan said
"You have a girlfriend?!" Richelle said
"Um... fiancée. . ." Alan said
"WHAT? How long have you known each other for?" Richelle asked, outraged at the fact her father kept something from her
"11 months... I know that's a long time too keep something from you but... I just wanted too make sure she was the right women for me! I didn't want her too hurt you!" Alan said
"Alright..." Richelle said, sighing softlty, "So tell me everything about her."
"Um... Julie... she's 38...(Alan's 40 in this and Richelle 18) She has 3 girls... Rowyn, Quinn and Coco. Rowyn is 10, Quinn is 8 and Coco is 2..." Alan said
"Oh... cool. So when are you getting married?" Richelle asked
"In a few weeks... we already have everything sorted out... so elegant light pink dresses for you, Rowyn and Quinn and then for Coco a light pink tutu dress. Mateo can wear a little baby suit... We already have everything!" Alan said
"Nice..." Richelle said
"Julie is coming around 1pm with her children so go shower and dress casually!" Alan said, smiling at Richelle
"Ok." Richelle said, going upstairs and getting ready
An hour later:
"Richelle!" Alan called frantically, "Do I look alright?"
"You look fine dad." Richelle said, looking her father up and down
"They're here!" Alan said, smiling and opening the door to 4 blonde's
"Alan!" Julie said, kissing him on the cheek, "Thank you for inviting us!"
"You're very welcome." Alan said, leading them into the friendly kitchen
"Girls introduce yourselves!" Julie said
"Hi, I'm Rowyn. It's lovely too meet you!" A small girl said
"I'm Quinn! Thank you for having us." A even smaller girl said,
"Ahhhh! You must be Richelle!" Julie said, running over too Richelle
"Yeah. It's nice too meet you!" Richelle said
"And this must be little Mateo!" Julie said, squeezing Caiden's cheek
"Yeah." Richelle said, smiling at the little baby holding onto a lock of her hair
"Right! C'mon, sit down, make yourselves at home!" Alan said, taking a seat at the marble island in the middle of the table
"Wow!" Quinn said, looking at the food set up on the table, "This looks really nice!"
"So how old is he?" Julie asked, nodding her head at Mateo
"Uh... eight months tomorrow actually!" Richelle said, strapping Caiden into his baby high chair
"Aww nice..." Julie said, "So girls we have news!"
"What is it mummy?" Quinn asked
"Yeah mum, what is it?" Rowyn asked, even more curiously than her sister
"We are moving in here!" Julie said
"Moving in?" Richelle asked
"Yeah Richie, isn't that great?" Alan said
"No! We only have one room left! The guest room." Richelle said
"Look, well Julie's sleeping in my room obviously! Rowyn and Quinn can sleep in the guest room and Coco can have Mateo's room." Alan said
"What?!" Richelle shouted, "Where's Mateo gonna sleep?"
"He's only 7 months, he doesn't need a room for himself. We can put his things in your room and turn the Nursery into a room for Coco" Alan said
"You're not being serious?!" Richelle said, getting up from her chair
"Richelle just sit down! You're 18 years old for goodness sake, you need to start acting more maturely!" Alan said
"NO! I'm going to hang out with Jacquie now." Richelle said, unbuckling Mateo from his baby chair and packing his nappy bag
"Richelle!" Alan said
"What? I told you I was going too meet Jacquie and Romelia at 3! It is 20 to 3!" Richelle said
"Look sweetie, it's only temporary! Don't make such a big fuss out of it." Julie said, trying to help Alan out
"Excuse me, do you just think you can rock up here with your 3 kids and steal my sons bedroom and tell me not too make such a big fuss out of it? You can't tell me what too do! You're not my mother!" Richelle shouted at Julie, picking up a now crying Mateo
"Look, he's crying and can comfort him if you want?!" Julie offered
"What did you just say? He's fine, thank you! Why don't you parent your own kids, don't try and parent mine, ok?" Richelle said, grabbing the nappy bag and storming out of the house
At Costa:
"Richelle?!" Jacquie said, "What's wrong!"
"You'll never guess what!" Richelle said, "My dad's been seeing this women and her kids for nearly a whole year without telling me! Can you believe that?"
"Really?" Jacquie said looking shocked
"Yeah! Well anyway they can over today and he only decided to tell me like an hour before they arrived and he also said they're getting married in a few weeks." Richelle said
"I'm so sorry!" Jacquie said
"That's not even the worse bit. Mateo started crying and she litterly told me how too parent him!" Richelle said
"She didn't!" Jacquie said, "What's she called then?"
"Julie... she's 38!" Richelle said, "She's literally only 20 years older than me!"
"What about her kids? Are they nice?" Jacquie asked
"Well... I only met them for like a few hours but they're called Rowyn, Quinn and Coco!" Richelle said
"Wow..." Jacquie said
"I know right!" Richelle said
"I'm so sorry Richelle!" Jacquie said, looking down at her phone
"What is it?" Richelle said
"I completely forgot! I have a checkup at the doctors for Romie!" Jacquie said
"Oh! What's wrong?" Richelle said
"It's just over the last two months she hasn't gotten any taller or put on any weight so I'm just a little worried about it." Jacquie said, looking down at the sleeping baby on her lap
"Oh no! I'm sure it'll be all fine. Text me if she's ok, promise?" Richelle asked
"Of course! Bye!" Jacquie said
"Bye!" Richelle said, sighing about having too go home
