Zack's P.O.V
I watched lily run back and forth getting ingredients for Jay "Zack" I heard my sister yell
"What?" I walked over to where Jay was by the grill with deer meat sizzling on it
"Take lily to the kitchen and show her what a spatula is"
"Didnt you get one"
"The one thing i forgot is a spatula" she rolled her eyes
"Oh wow" i laughed at her which she narrowed her eyes at me
"Just go show lily"
"Ok" i backed away and turned around "lily" i called my 7 year old sister over
"Yea bubby" she bounced over to me as we walked into the kitchen she followed me
"Ok so this is what Jay wanted you to get" I opened a drawer and pulled out a spatula showing her
"Is that what sissy ment by spatula or what ever she called it" she reached out and took the spatula looking at it
"Yea thats what she ment by spatula" I walked back to the glass door and opened it
"Oh ok" lily followed me
"Go give it to Jay" I put my finger on her back and lightly pushed her through the door
"Ok bubby" she bounced over to Jay
"Walk with that spatula too" I called to lily
"Ok bubby" she stopped bouncing and walked over to Jay handing it to her
"Thanks" i heard her say to lily she looked at my and closed her eyes then opened her eyes and went back to cooking
When Jay finished cooking the deer
Jay's P.O.V
I waited for Lexi and Rose and who ever they invited to show up while i swung back and forth in the swing laying on my back on the front porch listening to hot girl bummer by blackbear playing on my phone as i air drummed alond with the beat
"Is Lexi and Rose here yet" Zacks head appeared above mine
"No not yet there slow as fuck" I stopped air drumming and looked out into the road
"Ok well me lily and dad are in the back yard and lily keeps trying to get in your privite part of the garage" i watched as he moved around to sit in the rocking chair
"Lock the door im not sure if its locked but last time i checked it was"
"Alright" he got up and went off the porch and jogged around back as i hummed along to hot girl bummer
"Yea it's loc-" Zack didnt get to finish because I knew a part was coming up so turned the song up loudef "and you want me to change fuck you!" I bust out laughing at that
"Well then" he climbed over the railing and sat down as i finished laughing
"So its locked right?" I raised my head to look at him
"Yea i didnt get to tell you because of the song" I smirked looking at my brother "you knew it was going to say that didnt you so you turned it up to see my reaction"
"Yep" I white truck pulled into my drive way with a black truck following Adien and the others probably in the black truck the driver door of the white truck opened and Lexi popped out of the driver side while Rose got out of the passenger side
"Finally your here" I sat up watching who came out of the black truck
"We invited Adien, Ryder, and Drake if you dont mind" Lexi said coming on my porch
"I said to invite anyone you wanted" i flopped over on the swing laying on my stomach now
"Nice house Jay"
"Thanks" I looked to my right seeing Adien come on the porch i looked over at my brother who got up and looked at me
"I will be outback"
"Ok bro" I watched him jump over the fence and walk behind the house. I looked back at Adien and the others
"Wanna go inside?" I pushed my self up off the swing and grabbed my phone turning off the music
"Sure" i looked to see Drake standing by the door
"Open the door drake I will follow in behind you" I walked over as he turned the door Bob and walked in with me and the others following
"Nightmare" Rose ran right passed up over to nightmares cage where he was sitting
"Why is he in the cage?" Rose put her hand through the bars which was very to do and started petting him
"Visitors" i walked over and opened his cage and backed up so he could step out. He stepped out and sniffed towards Adien and the boys
"Friends" I stuck my hand over his nose
"So I'm guessing he's protective over you" I looked at Adien
"Certain people" I walked over to a shelf and grabbed his collar walked back over and clipped it around his neck
"Open the door Ryder" I pointed to the door
"Ok" he walked over and open the front door. Nightmare pricked his ears and ran right out the door to the right and ran into the woods
"Dang he's fast" Ryder stood looking out the door
"That's the wolf in him" All of the boys looked at me
"Wolf?" They sounded shocked
Then sounded normal "Did you here that there was two huge wolves in the park the other day and your dog looks similair to the black wolf" Adien looked in my eyes
"That wasnt him because everyone in this town knows my dog and plus that wolf was bigger than he is" I turned around walking through the kitchen looking behind me to see them following me. As i opened the door i look down to see my sister staring at me
"Well hello there sis" I picked her up
"Hi sissy" she bounced
"Omg hi Lily" Lexi ran over and wraped her arms around lily as i handed Lily to Lexi
"Hi Lexi hi Rose" she looked over behind Rose to see the three boys standing there
"Told ya" I turned to see Adien looking at Ryder and Drake
"Hey werent you at the park?" Lily pointed her finger at Adien
"Yea with my little sister Ivy"
"No wonder you reminded me of Ivy"
"Jay!" I heard my dad yell
"What!"
"Lock this door" I looked out to see he was pointing at my shop door which was standing wide open. I turned to my sister
"Care to explain why the door is open" she stuck out her hand, I put my hand under hers. She dropped the key in my hand
"I watched bubby put the key away and then i took it when no one was looking" she hid her face
"Well dont and i will be finding somewhere else to hide this key" I ran over to the door on the side of the garage, shut and locked the door. When i stepped back in the house I got a questionable glance from Adien
"Tell ya about it later" i said as i walked past him and ran up the stairs to my room. I looked around my room until my eyes fell on the only pink thing in my room moms locket i walked over and picked it up opening it revealing a picture of my mom when she was in the hospital just after Lily was born holding Lily in her arms I was there smiling as a 10 year old with Zack standing beside me smiling and looking at mom and Lily, dad was the one taking the picture. I felt something roll down my cheek I reached up and wiped it away tears first time i cried in 7 years. I moved the picture and placed the key behind it placing the picture back in its place. I looked at it one more time before closing it.
"You ok blackie" I looked over my shoulder to see Adien standing at my door
"Blackie?" I cocked and eyebrow
"You call me prettyboy so i call you blackie" he walked over behind me and looking at what I was holding
"My mom's locket" I sat it back down on my table
"Do you like the color pink?" He asked still standing behind me
"No but my mom loved it and so does Lily" i picked it up again and opened it letting him look at the picture
"Your mom was pretty"
"Thanks, I'm glad someone still looks like her" I indicated to my sister
"Now i know what you mean by Lily looking like your mother" he snickered in a joking tone
"Yea not alot of people see this picture of her" I closed the locket and sat it back down on my table by my bed
"We should probably get back down stairs"
"Yea" i started to walk out but something wrapped around my arm I stopped and looked back over my shoulder to see Adien staring at me
"You sure your fine?"
I hesitated why is he being nice to me "Yea" i finally answered. He let go of my arm and we walked to the stairs I jumped on the pole and slide all the way down as he walked down the stairs. Turning around the corner and walking through the kitchen and leaving through the kitchen glass door
"What took so long" Lexi came over to us
"I had to find a hiding spot to put the key which Adien helped me find a spot" i half way told the truth
"Oh ok me and Rose thought something happened" she smirked
"Nope, and leave the smirking to me" i returned her smirk with my own as Adien chuckled behind me
"Wow Jay wow" Rose walked over
"What meat is this and who cooked it" i turned to see Ryder and Drake holding a small plate of meat
"Deer an-"
"And i cooked it" i cut Lexi off. She glared at me
"Damn you cook good"
"Thanks Drake"
"Sis" i turned to see Zack walking towards me
"Yea bro" I said as he stopped not far from me
"Wheres Lily"
"She was with Lexi last so ask her" i glanced at Lexi who pointed her finger to the miny bounce house where Lily was bouncing
"Oh why didnt i think of looking there" i opened my mouth to reply
"dont even" i shut my mouth and snickered as he left walking over towards the miny bounce house
"Your brother knows you so well" i turned to Drake
"Ok stop making me turn around so much" i looked at every one who was around me
"Sorry blackie"
"Shut up prettyboy"
"Blackie" Lexi, Rose, Ryder, and Drake said confused
"I call him prettyboy so he calls me blackie" I shrugged my shoulders
"Oh sure" Ryder lentghened the sure
"Shut up Ryder" Adien crossed his arms
