All these years
You smiled
And laughed with me
Keeping me in the dark
As your secrets piled up.
You did things
That were untold
And told me
what I had believed
was the truth.
We dined and danced
As the days past
But now your skeletons
Had pushed their way out.
It was a shame
It felt like the end
I was disappointed
And speechless at once.
For days I kept quiet
Watching in silence
For your plea
And asking of forgiveness.
