The two stood in silence. Not a bad or awkward silence, but one of shock and joy. Jordan was grinning like never before while Lena continued her facade of the 'emotionless' orphan. Taking a quick glance around to make sure no one was near, luckily for them, Vince and his gang left, along with mainly everyone except for who Lena was waiting for and still is. Leaning in closer, whispering, "Are you a-" pausing midsentence, afraid of someone hearing the word and afraid to speak in. Lena nods enthusiastically, whispering, "What type are you? Judging by your green eyes and swirl, you're either nature, Adaptive Evolution or Solar Absorption."

Adaptive Evolution is where you're able to adapt your body in order to survive. Let's say if the world became colder, the Adaptive Evolution flaw would change the person(s) body into whatever they need to survive, like layering them in fur or making them cold-blooded.

Solar Absorption is where one can absorb solar energy and convert it into physical strength. Those with Solar Absorption can also store solar-derived energy in their cells through the same, or a similar method, and release it when necessary.

Amusedly huffing, "Sounds like you acknowledge your flaws. Nature. What about you?" Nature, also known as Plant Manipulation where they can control plants and vegetation.

Shrugging carelessly, "I read in my spare time... which is a lot of time when off work. Pyrokinesis."

Jaw-dropping, nothing could describe the shock planted on his face. Well, either it was shock, surprise, or 'oh shit'. "Pyrokin-!-" almost shouting before Lena shut him up, placing her hand over his mouth with a warning glare. "Don't shout, you'll give it away," whispering. Nodding, still not closing his eyes, keeping them locked on the pyrokinetic. Taking her hand off his mouth, he explodes, "Pyrokinesis?! Are you fooling me? How have you not been discovered?! Do you have any notion how much hunters would do to get their hands on you? You'd be sold in the billions!"

Taking a step back with her hands slightly raised, "Is it really that bad?" Mentally cursing. The ridiculous absence of information on pyrokinesis should have set alarms in her mind sooner.

"Uh. Yes! Pyro- your flaw in astonishingly limited. The last recorded pyrokinetic was in 1905. I'm beyond bewildered hunters haven't located you yet... let alone apprehended you. Lena, I'm exceeding astounded at how you've survived this long. Yes, nature is simple to control but... fire... I don't even want to envision what you've had to sacrifice in order to keep it this well disclosed." Mumbling the last part.

Uncomfortably her hand gripping her other arm, clasping her emaciated muscle, "I... I've been suppressing my emotions. Mainly rage, joy, sorrow. Anything that could spark a single flame on the tips of my fingers. Although... because of this I've never practiced my flaw so my flames are very weak and it would take all my energy just to start a camping fire on command rather when I lose control which luckily doesn't happen... often."

Jack and Raf started to exit the building talking about one of their class subjects, mainly Jack slightly complaining about an upcoming test. "Whoa, Jack look," Raf tugs on the older boy's sleeve, pointing at the 16-year-old staying at Jack's house talking friendly to someone else. Their conversation at a low whisper for only them to hear, but Jack can just ask Arcee what they were talking about if she was able to hear. "I'm glad that she's actually talking to someone but... who do you think he is?" questions Raf, pushing his glasses up his nose ridge and adjusting his backpack straps around his shoulders.

Grazing her dark eyes to the ground, ache fills her heart. "What's wrong?" asks Jordan. "M-My brother... he always wanted to meet another. He desperately wanted to meet another frost flaw or any type of flaw." Jordan perked at the idea of another mutant, grinning once more, "Then why don't we go see him! Today truly is an amazing day!"

"We can't!" snaps Lena, not meeting Jordan's green eyes. Before the nature-flaw could ask, his question was already answered, "He's gone... murdered and the orphanage set on fire. If anyone found out about my flaw... they'd think I set the fire when I would never want to harm anyone except the one who killed him. I want to burn Leo alive for what he's done to us. To Alex." Growling. Leo's name rolls off like poison on her tongue. Now the new exchange student new better than to ask of her brother from now on. But he can relate on a deep level.

He, too, averts his eyes. "I understand the pain of losing someone close. Hunters found my mother, she had Elasticity but the hunters had her chained by vengestone. Making it impossible for her to escape. I watched hidden away from the scene but I could clearly see it."

Elasticity. Those who have it are known to possess the ability to stretch his or her body. The full extent of this ability was not known but it is known that the ability doesn't count to their clothing so the fabrics cannot stretch with them.

Snapping her head back up at him at the word 'vengestone'. Vengestone stops the flaws of those chained to it. Once he or she is free, they can use their flaw once again. Vengestone can be used as a containment tool, torture method if used the right way, or to kill. But if used correctly, it can become a flaw augmentation and enhance the person(s) flaw, making them stronger, more advanced, making the flaw entirely uncontrollable. (A/N and yes, yes I did get this from ninjago. I was a fan when the show first aired and I'm just now catching up on the seasons. Btw, Jay and Nya have always been my favorite characters)

"Just how on Earth did they find vengestone?! I thought it was hidden away in the 19th century."

"Evidently not. Unless they discovered it or cloned it."

"It's just... it shouldn't be possible. If I wasn't already terrified enough of hunters, I am now," inwardly gagging at the idea of vengestone being anywhere near her got her stomach-turning. Shivering, "Just thinking about touching vengestone gives me the creeps, but the uses hunters have found for it... it's diabolical. What... what do you think they actually do to those they've captured? I've heard of mutants being forced into war, experimented on, killed just for fun. But that's after whatever hunters do to them. Heck, I remember seeing on the news, a mutant getting shot at and left dead on the ground by hunters."

Jordan expresses how not even he knows. No one does. Not books, authorities, outsiders, only hunters and their circle of webworks. Not realizing before it was too late that Jack and Raf heard them talking about mutants. Both of them share their own opinions on them.

"I don't like how people treat mutants. They were and still are human... if I ever met one I'd give them a giant hug," Raf's innocents never ceases. The high school student doesn't even care how dangerous the mutant could or would be if they ever attacked him, he knew it was only out of self-defense and fear after all the years of hiding and paranoia and fear of getting caught.

Jack awkwardly rubs the back of his neck, his nervous habit, "Honestly, I'm kinda scared of them but... I agree with Raf. Mutants are still human, they're just a bit different." Jordan and Lena looked at the two with their jaws hung open, never expecting to hear an answer like that in their lifetime!

Are there really regular humans out there that think this? Or is it just Jackson and Rafael? What about Miko? Does Miko accept mutants? Questions fill her mind. So far Lena knows Optimus, Wheeljack, and Arcee know of her... flaw. But that doesn't mean she doesn't know if they truly accept her or not, especially when they could only be allowing her to join Team Prime so the Decepticons wouldn't attack her. Or maybe they'd use her flaw as a tactical advantage on the field? How on Earth could she even melt metal in the first place? She's never melted anything before except maybe a few candles. Nor does Lena possess the energy capable of melting a giant metal robot who are most definitely going to be able to squish her with a pinch of their fingers.

But how did the three children stumble into an intergalactic war in the first place? One of the main questions roaming through Lena's mind was definitely that. Meanwhile, the ultimate question on Jack and Raf's mind is who the mystery-boy is.

Snapping out of her thoughts, back to a neutral face, "Right. Jack, Rafael, this is Jordan. He's an exchange student from England and trusted the brochure. I'll be showing him around Jasper after he gets his schedule for tomorrow."

"Please, please! Leland, I told you where the girl is. We had a deal!" shouts the man, strapped to a dissection table. Of course, he isn't going to be dissected when he has no use.

A man with pale skin and buzzed white hair, two noticeable scars that run across his nose and from his hairline down to his mid-left cheek. His muscular build was well-toned in his grey and black uniform and he was the only one not wearing a mask, showing his status as the one in charge.

Struggling against the tight bonds keeping him on the table. "You killed the boy, Leo. I wanted both of the siblings. Not one. He and his sister have rather rare flaws and you killed one of them when he was of use. Now, you're going to fill in his position."

Leland began to exit the room before stopping, slightly looking over his shoulder and the ragged clothed man, "And I go by Silas." Exiting the room, the door closing behind just before the drunkard's screams were heard on the other side, quickly being injected with whatever experimental chemicals they had to offer for Leo's failure.
