"No it's really itchy." I tried to take the little white bow out of my hair.
"It's cute, leave it." Natasha was curling my hair.
"It's just a stupid graduation."
"You're going to high school, enjoy it."
"I don't even want to dance." I whined. "Plus I have no date."
"What about that nerdy kid?"
"No, he's just a friend."
"Sure didn't seem like it."
I heard a knock on my door. "Are you two done? Graduation is in an hour." Dad yelled through the door.
"Almost done, She's impossible." Nat yelled back. "Wonder where you get that from." She muttered under her breath.
I rolled my eyes. Nat put the curling iron down and got out my graduation gown. "I'll make sure to put pictures of you in this all over base."
I let out a scream of frustration.
I put on the graduation gown and Nat put the cap on my head.
I was wearing a white and blue dress under, I can't really argue with it, it's not uncomfortable.
Nat opened the door, Dad smiled when he saw
me.
"I feel like a penguin."
"Way to ruin a moment." Nat pushed me towards the car.

After Nat forced me to take many pictures I had to leave them and go where my classmates were.
"Hey Dj Hazzle." Ned yelled.
I ran and hugged my group of friends. "We are all going to the same high school after this right?"
"Midtown high?" Peter pushed his glasses into place.
"HOLY SHIT ME TOO!"
"Miss Rogers!" One of the teachers scolded me.
"Sorry." I apologized. Can't wait to get new teachers.
The teachers were putting us into our proper places, I wasn't near my friends, it was in a weird order.
Slowly the line moved.
"Peter Parker." The lady said and he moved onstage.
I yelled from the top of my lungs "YES GO PARKER!"
The other kids gave me dirty looks.
"That's my best friend." I crossed my arms.
The line kept moving until I was next.
Wait I think I have stage fright.
My home room teacher was lightly guided me onstage.
"Hazel Rogers."
My cheeks were red, everyone was looking at me.
"THATS OUR GIRL!" Ned yelled. Peter whooped.
I chuckled, I was handed my middle school diploma and I walked up to shake my principles hand.
I saw Dad and Nat at the corner of my eye.
Dad had the proudest look on his face. I skipped off stage and to my seat.
The rest of the kids got went on stage and then sat down. Some did short speeches until finally it came to us moving our tassels to the other side of our hats.
I was the first to throw my hat, a little too hard but it didn't hit anyone.
I basically jumped over three chairs and hugged peter.
"Ha! No more school for two months!" I gave him a noogie.
"We all should hang out during the summer." Peter fixed his hair.
"Wish me luck trying to convince him." I looked at Dad, he seemed to be looking for me.
"Hold on I'll be-"
Peter grabbed my hand when I was about to walk away.
"Hey um, i need to ask you some-something...and it's like super duper late but better late then never right."
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"And it's completely fine if you say no and I'll respect it but-"
"Spit it out Parker."
"Would you like to uhm." He rocked on his heels. "Be my date to the dance..as friends of course!"
I felt a blush on my cheeks, and I never blush.
"I would love to."
"Everyone's heading across hall to the gym, uh I'll see you there." He also had the biggest blush on his face.
I tucked some hairs out of my face and ran over to Nat and Dad.
I held up my diploma and jumped into his arms, he gave me a big fathery worthy hug.
"Stop growing on me tiger." He put me down.
"I don't think I can do that."
"I'm very proud of you, you really take after Peggy, she's proud too."
I smiled and giggled.
Natasha looked at my face. "Are you blushing?"
"No." I answered quickly.
"Did he ask you?"
"Did who ask me?"
"Who's he?" Dad looked back and forth.
"Come on, he took your hand."
"Of course you saw."
"Now who the hell took your hand?"
"Easy papa bear." Nat patted his shoulder.
I handed dad my diploma and cap.
"Sorry got a date bye." I ran off before he could force me back to the quinjet.

I walked in and spotted Peter over by the punch and cookies.
There's a bunch of other kid's parents and Dad is bound to sniff me out eventually.
"Come on Idiot." I put his punch down and dragged him to dance.
He awkwardly put space between us and gently touched my shoulder.
"Do you know how to dance?"
(You can play the music for an adorable effect.)
He paused for a second and shook his head.
"Same here but..." I pulled him closer. "I've seen plenty of chick flicks with prom and stuff so I can figure it out."
Was he sweating?
"Okay you're like a stick." I grabbed his right hand and put it on my waist. "It's okay." I wrapped both my arms around the back of his neck.
Okay now I'm sweating.
"I know we're friends but you are really pr-pretty."
I snorted, I fucking snorted. Hazel you idiot.
"Hey you're pretty too."
I knew I couldn't stay long, we have a mission tomorrow and I'm going to be running coms at base.
I saw Dad and Nat walk in. That's my cue.
"Hey, I have to go." I put my hands down to my side.
He had a sad look on his face. "Peter we should see a movie next week, invite Ned and maybe Mj will go."
"Mj's weird." He looked at her in the corner eating some cookies.
"We're all weird here."
I put my hand on his shoulder and leaned in
"Bye Pete." I kissed his cheek.
I walked away from Peter's stuttering mess and smiled at Dad and Nat.
"So what time is training?"
