Pointless Journal,
I never stop wondering what my parents look like, did my mom have my eyes? Do I have my father's shade of hair? My thoughts trail more often than not to the million questions that will never be answered. My Aunty dodges them at all costs.
It's so hard to miss someone that you've never seen. I feel their absence though, it's as if a part of my heart can't and never will be filled. Why? Because they left me, my dear diary. When I was just two months old. Aunty Bex said I was very lucky to have been born and that I should treat my survival as a gift. She wants me to be happy, but she's not entirely happy herself. Something is missing in the two of our lives and I believe it's the same piece of the puzzle.
Whenever I ask of my parents, her heart beat quickens and she changes the subject, saying it's a complex matter. I don't know why, but I intend to find out.
