"Alex!", "oh hey Kayla, what's up?!" I say happily. Kayla gives me a slight smile and turns her head to the side and sighs. I obviously take a look to see what she's looking at. She's staring at Kyle talking to that girl that I bumped into on my first day and she's giggling at his jokes, "what's wrong, who is that bitch!?" I ask. "Kira James", I can tell Kayla's upset. "I hope you're okay Kayla, I'm here for you". "I don't need anyone, I'm fine. I don't want yours or anyone else's help. I don't need help. I'm fine". I stare at Kayla in disbelief, I know she needs help, I can't believe she just snapped at me. "I'll talk to you later then....",
I make my way to my locker after second period and when I open it I see a little note which reads "Text me" with a phone number underneath the neat writing. I take out my phone and add the number into my contacts under 'Anonymous'.
ANONYMOUS
Me: Hi, who is this?
Seconds later I get a reply,
Anonymous: hey beautiful
Me: who is this?
Anonymous: I can't say, all I can say Is that Iv spoken to you before, I find you extremely attractive and I am a boy.
Me: Iv spoken to a few boys... Anymore clues?
Anonymous: not today Alexandra, I'll tell you soon though, I promise.
Me: fine. Got to get to class.
