As I walk, the wind sings a song to me. A song of bravery. A song of tragedy. A song of merriment and sorrow. A song of love and death. A song of pain and healing. A song of time. A song of accomplishment. A song of giving up. I listen as the wind sings to me, and I ask it a simple thing. "What does this song mean?" The wind dances through my hair, and finally whispers to me, " It is life." The wind ceases and is gone, like a phantom in the night. I whisper goodbye as I continue my walk on the trail called life.
