Two minutes, that is all it took for the entire team to find out about spencer asking me to be his girlfriend. With the entire team asking questions i almost missed him asking.
R- want to go get lunch...
S- is that your way of asking me on a date.
R- maybe
S- well then yes lunch sounds good.
We left once the briefing was over, they caught the bad guy.
We walked down to the nearest little cafe to get some sandwich's and of course coffee. We both got black coffee's and basic ham and cheese sandwiches. Spencer sat with his back to the door, allowing me to face the door.
R- so...
S- so...
R- well this is awkward
S- just a little bit, so how about 20 questions
R- what
S- we just go back and forth asking questions
R- ok you first
S- favorite color

S- cute. now you ask a question
R- favorite animal
S- dogs, the FBI dogs are so cute.
R- you have the biggest smile on your face

R- oh i dont really drink soda
S- well alright then
R- favorite memory
S- i was six my mother in class at college, i had to go with her because she couldn't find a babysitter. The class was History, easy. At the end of class the professor handed out a test, i ended up with one so i took it. The professor graded them, i was the only person to make a hundred. Everyone else made 80's or lower. That was the day we found out i was a genius. If your could live anywhere where would you live?

Gun shots rang out, spencer and i both looked at the unsub.
S- silencer, he doesn't want this leaving the store.
R- male, red eyes he has been crying.

We both got up our guns pointed straight at the male in question
S- sir, put the weapon down

R- if you done sir we will have to shoot you
S- and trust us we done want to do that

His gun is pointed in the general direction of the cashier but not at him. this man doesnt want to do this, or he wont.
S- spence
R- i see it, go i got you covered
S- sir i am holstering my weapon, i just want to talk, please
?- stay back
S- sir please, listen to me...

S- i dont think you want to do this do you. i think you dont have a choice, that you need the money. What is the money for sir, why did you resort to this...
?- my daughter, she... um.... she has cancer and we dont have the money for the treatment.
S- sir i am so sorry, but this this isnt right, do you thing she would want this. to find out her dad has resorted to this.
?- no one was supposed to be here, there were no cars, so i thought
S- my boyfriend and i walked here from work. Sir i am going to take your gun now, please dont do anything rash.

The gun was now in my hand and this man in cuffs, the police soon arrived thanking us for the help. Spencer walked up behind me and put his arm around my shoulder.
S- what is up with our luck and dates
R- hey at least we didn't get kidnapped or stabbed
S- i dont think that guy is a bad guy just a worried dad
R- and i think you are right, but you had to do what you did. By the way, you looked hot being so brave.
S- SPENCER REID
D- oh someone sounds like he is in trouble.
R- nope not yet
S- what are you doing here
D- we saw the news, caught the bad guy huh...
R- it was all skylar
S- totally
R- im not lying
D- anyway sorry to interrupt the afternoon, but Hotch wants to talk to skylar.
S- you didn't interrupt, and alright then lets go.
