I entered the house breathlessly, I've just finished my morning run I went into the kitchen and took out a bottle of vitamin water I opened it and thirstily gulped it down
"You run every morning?" I heard my dad ask
"Yes, I work out every day also doing all different exercises," I told him
I still haven't stopped with the exercises I've tried to but I can't besides I don't mind doing them
"that explains your physique you're fit, I should join you sometime," he suggested as I took off my sweatband which was dripping with sweat I was drenched
"I did my body but thank you," I told and he stared at me
"The cars outside the mansion gates are getting creepy," I told him
For two weeks now black cars have been parked outside of the gate, the glass is tinted so I can't see inside nor do I know if anyone is inside it's creepy
"What cars?" he cluelessly asks
"Black tinted car, it's there every morning and every night," I told him so he doesn't what I'm talking about
This better not be Zathrian doing, I thought
"I'll take care of it," he says and walks away I shrug and walk away also
He called my phone again like a hundred times since morning
"What!" I answered
"Are you coming or not?" he asks
"Where?" I don't even know what he's talking about
"Didn't you read any of my messages?" he asks
"No" I replied
"Read it, then meet me at that address," he demands, so fucking demanding
"No promises," I told him
"Be there" he hung up before I could reply
I checked the message he wants to meet at a park Callisto Park to be specific his family owns a fucking park is he for real.
I was eager to know why he wanted to meet me at a park I started getting dressed I threw on a romper and a pair of black slip-on sandals.
I pulled up at the park he was there standing at the entrance I parked and got out of the car
"This better worth my time," I told to him
"I just wanted to see you," he admitted
"Are you fucking serious!" I shouted
"Language!" He shouts back
I bit my lip, and he took my hands and pulled me into his body he crashed his lips on mine I pushed him away and did the unthinkable I slapped him he looked at me angrily
"I'm sorry" I apologized
"It's fine," he says angry
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to," I say biting on my finger he removed my finger from my mouth
"It's fine" he assures pulling me away
I felt him sit, and he pulled me onto his lap and into his muscular chest why the heck did I let that happen without thinking I buried my head in his neck and held on to him he smelled so good I could stay here forever I feel so safe
Pushing my shoulders back he brushed my hair off my face and looked into my eyes they held nothing but softness I'd never seen before but behind it there was something else, he took my face softly in one hand and held my other hand in his own and leaned towards me it was a soft gentle
We kissed again inching our bodies closer to each other I willingly opened my mouth accepting his tongue his nose nestled against mine as we continued to kiss my tongue pushing into his mouth his lips were so full and soft
He let go of my hand and grabbed my waist and pulling me closer as he kissed me more passionately after a while we pulled away both of us breathing heavily I was still on his lap oh my god I started panicking why am I even panicking
"Calm down" he soothes holding me down on his lap as I struggle to get out of his grip
"Why are you doing this now?" I ask looking at him
"I already told you, you belong to me," he rolled his eyes
"I don't have feelings for you," I lied
"Are you sure? I clearly remember when you told me you liked me" He says with a cocky smile
"That was in the past I've moved on," I told him and he nods
"So if I kiss you again, what will you do?" he asks with a raised eyebrow
"Push you away and slap you again," I lied again
"Stop lying," he says
"Baabbbbeee whooo isss thhhhiiissss" a very scrawny high pitched voice whine
I looked up to see a very skinny-looking black hair if I didn't know any better I would say she was fifteen years old I looked at Zathrian disgust flashed across his face
"Child go home to your parents!" he shouts she stomped off
just then my phone rang, I looked at the caller I'd to see the word dad with a heart emoji
"I need to go" I removed myself from his lap and walked away
I turned and looked back at him I swear I was disappointment flashed across his face but it left quickly I smiled at him and blew him a kiss
"Why didn't you tell anyone you were leaving?" Dad's voice greeted me as I entered the mansion
"I just went for a drive," I lied
"Okay, lunch is ready," he says
"I'm not hungry," I say
"Dad, I have something to tell you," Nicholas says
I could feel his harsh glare, which caused me to look up at him
"Son not now," Dad told to him
"It's important" his tone was very urgent he was looking at me weirdly I frowned
"We'll talk about it tomorrow" Dad dismissed and walked away
Nicholas smirked at me and left also
what's with that look it reminds me so much of Alexander I thought
I sighed and went up to the closet and changed into a swimsuit
Nicholas had been creeping me out throughout the day he had been sending me glares which isn't new but when I looked at him he grinned and sometimes smirks at me, then the weirdest thing happened I saw Alexander it was Nicholas was sitting there, then the next thing I know it was Alexander sitting there I got up and ran into the house I'm was just being delusional
"You're not leaving me if I die so you do if I live so do you," he says then a shot is fired Nicholas's lifeless body lay on the floor with blood
I looked up to see Zathrian I started breathing heavily, "Leave before I kill you too!"
I didn't need to be told twice I ran out of the room no point going downstairs I'll die I ran towards the east wing there was a stairway that led to the garage I opened the door and went down the stairs I arrived at the garage I ran out of there also and ran without stopping nor looking back I exit through the small back gate
I breathe heavily I started wheezing shit an asthma attack I'm not asthmatic but there was a pump in my hand I used my pump I felt a little better I breathe relief I'm finally free not a minute later a loud explosion was heard they burnt the house I smiled
I jumped from my sleep with a heavy gasp I started breathing heavily this time it was about Nicholas, not Lucio nor Alexander but Nicholas I got off the bed as my breathing calmed I looked at the time 1:15 I fell asleep 12:49 I didn't get much sleep
I picked up a weed joint along with my lighter and walked out of the room, I went to the bar and picked up a bottle of tequila and I turned around to see Lorenzo
"Fucking hell, you almost gave a heart attack," I say
"It's 1:17 am and you're drinking and smoking, you need help," he told me
"Why are you up this early?" I ask.
"I arrived from New York, what about you," he says
New York must be lovely, I thought
I've always wanted to travel but never got the chance to because of Lucio I've only been to two places and it's Miami and Ibiza
"Can't sleep" I say and walk away
I went outside and sat by the poolside I felt another presence beside me I turned around and it was Lorenzo
"You're a De Callisto?" I question
I remembered when Zathrian said something about De Callisto and Prestons attracting each other and he mentioned Lorenzo and Elizabeth
"I'm a Martinez, but I changed my name to De Callisto when I was a teenager," he says
"Why?" I questioned
"Alfonso and his wife saved me from my crazy parents they adopted me," he says
"I wanted a savior but none never came," I mumbled
"What was that?" he asked
"You and Zathrian grew as brothers?" I ask.
"We all grew together," he says
"Why did you guys attack us? I ask
They're brothers so he must know what happened. He gave a questionable look
"Lucio" I hinted
"He deserved it, I can't say anything else" his voice was cold
"What does Dad know?" I ask. I did tell him they were dead but I wondered how much he found out after.
"Not the full story, but he doesn't know you were there and he doesn't know we were there either, he only knows that they died in a war" he says
"Right! He doesn't know that the monster grew me and that he was killed by the De Callisto's"
"Babe? Are you coming inside" I heard Elizabeth ask she sounded jealous and a little angry I rolled my eyes
"You need to give him a chance,"
I gave him a confused look only one name crossed my mind Zathrian he walked away I sighed
