"Well dammit Jade will you pick it up!?" Olivia yelled at her friend. Jade looked at her in disgust and picked up the sped. She was running. She was running trying to catch up with her best friend, but why was she even trying to follow her in the first place?

"Will...you...slow...down." Jade huffed out. She couldn't breath and a drop of sweat trailed down her cheek. She noticed some people giving her curious glimpses as she ran by, but tried not to focus on that. All she had to focus on was Olivia and make sure she didn't lose her.

"Were almost there, so move your ass Harris or we're going to miss it," Olivia said.

Suddenly, Jade picked up as much momentum as she possibly could. In one instant she closed her eyes and then she was done for. She accidentally hit into a guy and was forced to apologize to him. After she apologized she scanned the area. Her hand instantly flew to cover her mouth. She had lost Olivia!

"Olivia!" Jade called out. She sighed and began to walk aimlessly into the oncoming crowd. "Oh no, this can't be happening," she groaned and looked around. She spun roughly in a circle trying to gaze into everyone's face. She just had to try to picture what Olivia was wearing, but nothing came to mind. All Jade could remember was her grimacing face as she yelled at her to pick up the pace. What would she do?

"Jade will you stop dazing and come on!"

Jade turned to find Olivia waving her arm back and forth in the air. She mouthed out a "thank you" softly and followed the flaying arms that were urging for her to hurry up.

"I...I...I...am...so," Jade panted when she finally made it through the fog like crowd. She placed both her hands on her knees and tried to regain her regular breathing pattern. "...Happy...that I...found you."

Olivia looked dumbfounded. "I don't know what you're talking about, but hand me your ticket."

Jade stood up straight and dug through her jean pockets. She pulled out a piece of wrinkled paper and handed it to Olivia. Olivia put on a much softer face when she handed the paper to a woman standing behind the desk. She took the paper and ripped off the end and handed it back to Olivia.

"Thank you and I hope you have a wonderful flight to Maine," the very voluptuous women said with a smile.

"Yea, we're going to a cabin to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas together with two other people," Olivia bragged while handing the plane ticket back to Jade. Jade had to roll her eyes in an attempt to contain her sneering. "It was supposed to be a couple thing, but only one of us got into a relationship."

Jade perked her ears up when Olivia chuckled lightly. What was she making that kind of assumption for? Jade gritted her teeth and closed her eyes. She wanted to tell Olivia that she indeed did have a man. Just...one...that she wasn't able to disclose the information about.

"But, I'm going to have fun with my man, while she," Olivia said casually said pointing at Jade. "Just hangs out. Who knows she might actually find a ..."

"Olivia come on I thought you didn't want to be late?" Jade interrupted. She got tired of the silly smirk that played across the women that stood behind the desk. Not to mention she started to hate the fact that they were both laughing at her updatable, soulless, unattainable, lowly carcass.

Olivia beamed and waved goodbye to the woman. She grabbed Jade's wrist and pulled her down the corridor to the plane.

"You didn't have to dog me back there about not having a man Liv," Jade sighed when she finally noticed that she was being pulled, but was happy to know it moved her from her demeaning thoughts. She jerked her wrist out of Olivia's grasp and crossed her arms. Olivia slowed down when she noticed that they were coming to the entrance of the plane. Already the flight attendants stood wearing their blue and white suits, with their curvy bodies ready to tempt any oncoming guys who are willing to stray. Why wouldn't any guy not find them hot, anyway? Many a time she heard guys talking about fantasies with a female flight attendant. It was just the sexy outfit wasn't it? They looked like a bunch of Barbie Doll collectibles. But, to make it even more of a collectible they had to have some sort of stiff male figures. Speaking of the devils!

"Welcome ladies and enjoy your flight," a lean, tall, and full of moustache hair guy said as Olivia and Jade made it into the plane. Jade smiled and followed behind Olivia to the front of the plane, but couldn't help but look back at the guy. He was the pilot of course since he had a very audacious and phony smile on his lips. Not to mention he had the obvious hat atop of his head.

Olivia finally stopped to push back a curtain and then walked through it with Jade behind her. Jade was happy when she made it past the curtain, but was a bit disappointed.

"Welcome to first-class Jade," Olivia said. "Smell it, breathe it, and embrace the good life."

"Yea...the good life," Jade mocked. It didn't look any different from all the rest of a plane. The area was the same, so was the color. There were windows around the seats, but nothing that she hadn't seen before. The only thing different were that there were only two seats and no one was in it; except for two. They both sat by themselves ever so quietly. One was sitting three seats in front of the other banging his head to music that was flowing through the headphones that were over his head. The other was sitting calmly looking out of the plane window ready for the plane to take off. He looked like a lost puppy that just lost its mother.

"So, where is everyone?" Jade asked quietly.

"Well mom and dad got it so we only have to ride up here by ourselves. Or in other words they bought all the first class tickets for me. You aren't complaining are you?" Olivia asked. She leaned against the wall and stared at the other two people who were on the plane.

"No, but..." Jade stuttered.

"It isn't my fault that you didn't have a man to bring on this trip!"

"Will you stop saying that? You don't know if I have a man or not. Hell, I could have one that I just don't want to tell you about."

Olivia was heard sucking her teeth and a groan played in the back of her throat. "If you say so."

Jade scoffed and shook her head. "Whatever, we're we going to sit since we have all of this?" Jade said spreading her arms out.

"Umm...I'm sitting with my man, whose listening to music. You can sit wherever you want."

"What!?" Jade asked. Olivia made her way halfway toward Josh when she turned back around to look at Jade. "We aren't sitting together?"

"No," Olivia quickly responded and sat down beside Josh. She took off his headphones quickly and gave him a quick kiss. She suddenly got so into a light conversation that Jade didn't want to interrupt the lovely couple. She nervously stood near the doorway until one of the flight attendants nudged at her arm.

"Ma'am you're going to have to take a seat somewhere. We're about to take off," she said in an almost fake smile as her other collectable with the penis.

"Sure." Jade looked around and she didn't want to go sit somewhere by herself, but then she caught the seat beside her lost puppy and smiled. "Well I don't want to sit all alone. Why not sit by the one I'm in love with."

Jade strolled over and silently sat down beside her lost puppy. She had to take a minute to awe at how comfortable the plane seats were thought. If she wasn't careful she just may fall through to heaven. She closed her eyes for a minute and just relaxed forgetting she had an agenda for a second.

"Yea, the seats are fantastic."

Jade smiled. "I would have thought that you liked the view better."

"Oh, I was just watching all the guys out there trying to check the plane at the last minute," Zach told Jade. "I haven't flown in a very long time, so I want to see the plane take off." Zach took a glimpse out the window again and sighed.

"Thank Olivia for all of this," Jade proclaimed.

"I do, but it was completely unnecessary for Olivia's parents to pay for all of the tickets. Not to mention paying for Olivia's own winter trip along with three of her friends," Zach said. He looked up when he caught sight of the flight attendant in the front of the plane. Jade noticed too, but automatically guessed she was just talking about emergency things when she started pointing everywhere.

"It sounds like their spoiling her, but really she deserves this," Jade said while looking at Zach quickly. "This is all a beautiful gift from the Parker's saying how proud they are about Olivia passing all of her classes."

Zach chuckled and stroked Jade's hand that was on the armrest. "Anyone can pass a class Jade."

"But, can anyone pass a class by making A's and a B+?"

"What!?" Zach questioned. When Jade shook her head he stifled a laugh. "Are we talking about the same Olivia?"

"Yes, we are. I was as shocked and baffled as you, but I can truly vouch that she did it all on her own. She didn't sleep with any teachers for the grade, nor did she cheat off of anyone. She actually studied hard for once in her entire life."

"Wow!" Zach said in surprise.

"And I really think that she has a knack for school too," Jade added and smiled at Zach. She noticed that the seat belt sign was up and the attendant was walking up and down the aisle. That meant that the plane was about to take off in any minute. "She told me just last week-I think- that she would like to get into interior design."

"That's really serious for her. She's not really the brightest and an unselfish kind of person, so for her to be thinking about others must be a major step," Zach joked. He suddenly slanted his eyebrows at Jade. "Why didn't you tell me that last week?"

Jade looked at him quietly and shrugged her shoulders. Why didn't she tell him that? She knew why. Ever since that night after the mall incident they hadn't talked for a good three to four weeks. Of course, they seen each other at home and said hi, but they had been very busy with things. Zach had locked himself in his room typing away on the weekends and evenings. Not to mention he worked too! Jade had been working a lot-even after the incident because money is money- and she had been studying hard for finals on her days off and on weekends. So, that left them no time to really talk and have a fulfilling conversation. Even though Zach came into her room at night to lay down with her, he had suddenly stopped sometime ago. Nothing was happening to the relationship was it?

"We've been too busy I guess," Jade responded. "You know with your book, work, and my finals I had to study for. We haven't had a lot of time for us."

"Your right." Zach smoothed his hand on top of hers and gave it a squeeze. "How do you think the finals went?"

Jade looked at him questioningly. "Umm...I think I did really good except in Psych class."

"Why's that?"

Jade noticed that the plane was moving, but Zach never took his eyes off of her. Didn't he say he wanted to watch the plane take off? Why was he looking at her instead?

"I think that it was too hard and didn't cover anything in the notes the professor gave us," Jade began, while watching the scenery change through the window. "The reading material covered most of it, but no matter how much I read it I didn't really get it. I don't think I studied well on it at all," she said with a shrug.

"Well next time tell me and I'll help you study," Zach softly added.

"Yea right," Jade laughed.

"I would help you."

"By what? You don't know anything about my Psych class how could you have helped?" Jade asked and blushed a bit when Zach gave her a warm smile.

Zach stroked his chin lightly. "I...I...would have read the book. I could have asked you some questions after I finished reading the book. If you had problems with some words I could have made...made...flashcards or something."

"Flashcards!?" Jade giggled. He was too cute sometimes for his own good she had to admit.

"I would have done anything to help you," Zach told Jade sincerely.

"You would?" Jade asked lifting her right eyebrow slightly in suspicion.

"I'm your man and that's what I'm suppose to do," Zach answered. He removed his hand from atop of her hand and softly trailed his thumb over her bottom lip. "I love you."

Jade smiled when he said the words. They came from his lips so sweetly and more like they belonged there. It had been a while since she had heard those words or felt his touch, but it all felt good. All she wanted to do was kiss him and feel his lips again. But, of course fate never were on their side.

"How are you guys holding up?" Olivia asked. She leaned on the headrest of the seat in front of Zach and Jade. Happily she was too busy with her hair to notice them only inches from each other in a much needed kiss. "I usually get sick the first time. You know, since you guys haven't flown in like forever!"

"We're ok Liv," Jade told her friend.

Olivia looked down at the two. "You two don't look ok. You know I get sick and I don't know I'm sick, but I need to go to the bathroom anyway."

"That's ok Olivia we're fine. We were just talking," Zach interrupted.

"No way!" Olivia said. "Well I won't act too surprised since you two have been behaving yourselves. Just promise me one thing?"

"What?" Jade and Zach said in unison.

"Promise me that you two won't ruin this trip."

Jade and Zach looked at one another and shrugged. They guessed that it was best if they gave Olivia the high card or she would freak out during the entire trip. Therefore, she would be the one to spoil the whole excursion.

"We promise," they answered.

"Good!" Olivia said with a smile. "I have surprises for you both on the trip, so if you two stay good you'll be able to get it."

Jade rolled her eyes. "Liv, you didn't have to get..."

"Ssshhh," Olivia said pressing her finger to her own lips. "This is for your own good. Anyways, I brought you two even though I thought Jade would have found a ..."

"OLIVIA don't you say it," Jade angrily announced. She saw from the corner of her eye Zach's surprised expression, but Olivia quickly closed her mouth.

"Fine, but you two should go to the bathroom because you both look a little bit green," Olivia said quickly and left.

"Are you sure she deserves this trip?" Zach asked, while standing up and stretching.

Jade stood too. "The question is do we deserve this trip?"

"We do, but what was she talking about just now. Umm what was it that she said. Oh yea 'I thought Jade would have found a...' a what?"

"You don't want to know," Jade yawned and walked into the aisle. Zach soon followed after her.

"Women."

"Men," Jade mocked. She stopped and turned around to look at Zach. "Oh I'm sorry that you weren't able to watch the plane take off."

"Don't worry I'll always have time to later on in life; but listening to what you have to say is my first priority on top of everything else," Zach said softly. He had to nudge Jade on the back to make her walk because she just stood there looking lost. She mouthed an "I love you" and walked to the bathrooms, but the feel of his words never left her thoughts. As soon as she got in the bathroom she flopped right down on the top of the toilet stool. The only reason that she had came into the bathroom was because Olivia had wanted her to. Not to mention Zach was the one to get up and she had to move out of his way for him to go. She smiled to herself out of happiness. She would enjoy the trip especially if it was to be with Zach at the same time, but she couldn't help but worry about Olivia's so-called surprise for them.

"Knock, knock," Zach said knocking on the door and poking his head through. He wiggled himself into the small little bathroom and closed the door. He braced himself on the door and looked around. "Wow, this is what the bathrooms look like on a plane. Much smaller than I remembered."

Jade shook her head, but she had to smile. How could she forget to lock the door?

"Zach you were just in a bathroom," Jade smiled. She would have stood up, but there wasn't any room.

"Oh, well your right. It's just that," Zach began and bent down the pick Jade up. He inched his body along with Jade's, so that she was sitting on top of the sink area. More likely she was sitting in it. "I think it's a lot more beautiful in here," he whispered in her ear.

"Really, because I found it rather unattractive," Jade said sweetly. She didn't know what Zach had in mind or what he was planning to do, but she didn't mind being so close to him.

Zach looked into her eyes and held them in his. "Believe me it's beautiful."

"I'm not saying that I don't believe you. I just have a mind and the color is..."

"Jade," Zach chuckled.

"Yea?"

"Shut-up."

Jade smiled and caught that she was indeed rambling. "Well then what did you come here to do if you don't want to talk about the ugly designs in here?"

"I thought you would never ask," Zach answered and flicked his tongue on her lips. "I'm going to kiss you."

Jade shifted on the sink and moved in closer to Zach's warm body. "Well what's stopping you?" Jade said. As soon as she finished the sentence he sweetly teased her lips, which left her utterably speechless. He was surprisingly gentle considering how long he hadn't had any kind of contact with her whatsoever. He took her bottom lip into his mouth and sucked on it lovingly. Jade closed her eyes and enjoyed the feeling that he was giving her, but she truly wanted to just feel his lips on hers. Suddenly, he just stopped and she opened her eyes.

Zach groaned and slammed his hands on the sink.

"Why did you stop?" Jade asked running her hands through his hair.

"You wouldn't understand," Zach chuckled and quickly gave Jade a kiss on her cheek. "I'm going back to my seat. Hopefully, I can take out the notebook (laptops are called this now) and start typing. Whenever you're done in here you can come back ok?" he said and exited out of the bathroom.

"Sure," Jade mouthed. What did he mean by 'you wouldn't understand'? She was supposed to be his girlfriend so she should understand anything that he told her. She jumped off of the sink and fixed herself up. She felt her bottom lip and sighed. Well as long as she got a little taste of him it didn't really bother her. "I just hope he doesn't do that again," she whimpered and decided to go back to her seat too.
