Me and Mikasa had been talking for a few minuets when we heard someone walking, we both turned around to see Izaya...alone
MK- "Izaya...wheres Yuuki?"
He pointed behind him so we both waited until he turned around and looked surprised
IZ- "she was just....YUUKI?!"
MK- "oh shit, she's alone...."
I nodded as we all ran back to the small path they'd taken, not seeing her anywhere
IZ- "where did she go?! she was just behind me..."
we heard a scream and followed it, running as fast as we could to find the sound but couldn't
E- "WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU MAKE SURE SHE WAS WITH YOU?!"
IZ- "BECAUSE I HEARD HER WALKING BEHIND ME!"
Miksa stopped and was thinking about something, biting her nails as we all were carefully listening to noises all around us, I was trying to focus on hearing her but couldn't
MK- "You both said that we shouldn't let anyone be alone and she was chosen to be the one...we have to find her or she could die if she hasn't already."
I nodded, looking at him
E- "You said you can track right?"
he nodded and I noticed he was already looking at the ground
IZ- "there's her foot prints and a barefoot kinda mixed with hand prints going this way...I think she was running from something by the way the footprints aren't steady like if she was walking"
we walked with him in silence, listening to the noises around us still trying to see if we heard her then Izaya took off running and I followed, pulling Mika with me and I froze when I saw Yuuki on her side facing a tree and blood on her head
E- "YUUKI!"
I ran down the hill to her and lifted her up, he head leaned back as Izaya helped me get up the hill with her and Mikasa looking a little worried
IZ- "She's okay. Just hit her head, we need to get her to the circle and fast, I think we're very close, something chased her this way but I think she fell and since she passed out it couldn't take her."
I nodded and took off her backpack. Getting a water bottle and cloth then cleaning her head as her eyes slowly opened and she looked at me
MK- "Hey..hows your head feel?"
Yuuki chuckled and touched it while wincing
YK- "I'll heal"
E- "Jesus, you always scare me like this"
she rolled her eyes while getting up, I knew she was putting on the tough act
IZ- "we should hurry, you could die any time if we don't"
she nodded
MK- "We should rest! she's hurt and just woke up"
IZ- "Do you want her to die here?"
E- "If she's okay then lets go"
Mikasa sighed and stood with Yuuki who smiled and nodded
MK- "Fine, lead the way yuu"
we walked for a while before we all decided to stop and rest, both girls were asleep
IZ- "You like Yuuki dont you?"
I looked at her, her wavy hair no longer in it's braid
E- "I don't know..."
IZ- "I'd advise against getting close to her Eli..she's leaving when we get out"
I looked at him, he was looking at her with a light longing.
E- "Yuo loved her Alya right?"
he smiled and nodded
IZ- "I did."
I nodded, remembering the first time I met Alya
-flashback-
MK- "hey guess what looser"
I chuckled at my girlfriend, looking at her was enough for me
E- "whos dating this looser?"
she rolled her eyes and laughed, her ripped jeans cling to her skin and her tight black shirt was tight on her too
MK- "Shut up and listen"
E- "Finne. what?"
MK- "the new girl Alya...I met her"
I thought about it, the girl with the naturally very light green hair
E- "And?"
MK- "Lets go hang out with her?"
I shrugged
E- "when?"
she laughed and I sighed
E- "now huh?"
she nodded and pulled me with her, when we got to the park he green hair was lightly blowing in the wind but she smiled, her eyes very deep purple but calm
Alya- "I'm Alya Levy...I didn't know she was bringing someone else"
I nodded and chuckled
E- "I'm Eli...I don't tell people my last name"
she nodded, smiling still, she was wearing shirts and a blue hoodie with red pockets. We all talked for so long that it was dark by the time we seperated
-end of flashback-
I closed my eyes at the memory, it was very out of nowhere that I met her but she was so nice and outgoing that you'd never think someone like her would kill herself. my eyes went to Yuukis hoodie and I gasped lightly
E- "is that Alyas?"
he nodded and pointed to the choker
IZ- "so is the necklace."
I nodded and noticed the light cut on her head looked a little less red now. she did look like her sister, not as nice at first but she was warming up to us now
E- "where is she going to?"
he looked at me, then her with sad eyes
IZ- "her grandmother. If I'd known what he father did I'd have done something back then. I wish her or Aly had told me...Honestly I'd have protected them both."
E- "How long have you known them?"
IZ- "Since pre-school. They were known as the jade and emerald twins"
he laughed a little while Yuuki moved
E- "I never even knew she had a sister....neither of them ever mentioned it."
IZ- "yeah, I thought maybe you'd know. Aly used to brag about having a sister like Yuuki, mainly because they are pretty rare to find"
I smiled at the thought, it was true though because usually it was extremely rare to see someone with hair and eyes like theirs. maybe because it's completely natural
E- "yeah, I can see that"
Mikasa moved in her sleep which made me jump a little because she touched my thigh when she did, I sighed and looked at her. I hated when we broke up but understood that we had to back then.
IZ- "I don't think Yuuki will ever be the same after that, not after what she told us"
E- "probably not. If she thinks she knew then she'll use that against herself for years on years."
he nodded as he took her hand in his and sighed
IZ- "I promised Aly I'd protect you but I dragged you here where I can't...I'm so sorry"
I closed my eyes when Yuuki opened hers
YK- "I don't need protecting"
he chuckled and I noticed she didn't move her hands from his, like she was used to it
E- "Mika...you awake?"
she shook her head no
MK- "not enough"
I chuckled and helped her stand, she always wore tight clothes so we didn't have to worry about it riding up
YK- "we're almost there"
Mika went to her and they walked in front of us, talking about something that was making mikasa laugh. I'd never seen Yuuki smile the way she was either
IZ- "I bet they're talking about Yuuki's sense of fashion"
he said which made me smile
E- "It's not that bad"
IZ- "To you, but it's WAY to low cut."
he sounded like an older brother, but he was right. her shirt was so tight you could see her abs and belly button through it and her jeans highlighted her curves.
IZ- "Ey. Stop staring at her."
I smiled
E- "So protective~"
he rolled his eyes as we caught up with the girls and Yuuki looked at me which made me smile and my heart jump.
