I pull on a black hoodie with skinny jeans as I climb onto Damon's red Ferrari. He has a lot of cars and let me tell you I don't know any of them.
I just identified them because of the different colors,he explained to me but at the end of the day I didn't get it at all.
Anyway Maddie had called me this morning saying she has already arrived at the motel whose name I finally learnt is Golden corral.
Damon has been really sweet to me, I knew having a mate was a different experience but being with him is the best thing that could ever happen to me. He is patient ,kind and just... amazing.
I know that some may say we may have hooked up quite fast or I didn't wait till he got over Natalie but with your soulmate everything just falls into place.
I smile as Damon drives us to the motel he said was about three hours away. I hardly knew this place because I had used the forest ,which almost got me killed.
The amazing news is Damon is announcing me as the Luna of the pack tomorrow night after Maddie arrives so she can join the pack too. I'm excited but also scared.
No matter how much you move on, they'll still be a fragment of your former pain that will still make you doubt everything so that tiny part of me makes me doubt everything.
I have met some pack members,some are still scared,I guess that is due to the fact Natalie gave them a huge scare. I mean if you live being threatened you'll eventually cower.
We are currently heading to the Golden corral motel, to say I'm excited to see her is an understatement, I'm literally glowing,she is like my sister.
After driving for about three hours we finally stopped at the motel which I hardly knew anything about even though I stayed there for two days.
Outside the motel stood Maddie looking down at her phone. Seeing her brought a smile to my face.
"There she is." I pointed out to Damon who smiled at me widely.
He slowed down right next to Maddie who finally looked up.
When the car came to a halt, I immediately jumped out tackling her in a hug as a tear slip down my cheek,well I'm kind of emotional if you haven't noticed.
"I missed you so much Maddie." I say smiling behind her hair.
"C-can't b-breath." She says making me let go smiling at her sheepishly.
"I missed you too Christel." She says with a bright smile.
At that moment Damon came out of the car before slinging his hand over my shoulder causing me to lean on his forearm.
Maddie looks between Damon and I before smirking.
"He is your mate? Man he is hot." She says fanning herself with her hand causing me to growl. Well snow is really angry as for me it's totally embarrassing.
I'm those typical werewolf who are jealous of their mate's talking to someone else.
'Snow what is wrong with you, you just embarrassed me.' I tell her feeling my cheeks heat up.
'No one says that about my mate.' she snarls making me roll my eyes.
"Someone's possessive." She says with the smirk making me blush some more.
Damon just chuckles before shaking hands with her.
"I'm Damon King, Christel's mate." He says smiling at her.
"I'm Maddison Grey but I guess you already know that." She says retracting her hand.
Before I can respond she has this far away look on her face that makes me wonder what she is thinking.
"Um Maddie what are you thinking about?" I ask .
"Just wondering, where I've heard that name Damon King, Damon..." She says in deep thought.
"Maybe because I'm the alpha king." He says with a smirk making Maddie pale.
"Oh My God,you are the alpha King?!, Wait- wasn't Natalie mated to you or something." She says looking between us her face scrunched in confusion.
I sigh knowing I'll have to tell her the whole story. Damon just looks at me before smiling sadly.
"Well that's the long story I was gonna tell you about." I say still smiling.
She looks at us again before nodding her head.
"Okay we should get going ,the pack house is about three hours." Damon says as he gets into the car.
I grab Maddie's bags placing them in the trunk. I get in and Damon starts the car. I spent the entire time chatting with Maddie about how she was doing avoiding talking about Sally.
We drive for three hours which actually felt less due to us chatting which we were not into any touchy subject,also because Damon was there,no offense but I didn't want Maddie feeling uncomfortable.
We finally arrived and when the main gate opened Maddie's jaw hit the floor causing me to smile.
"Welcome to the Royal pack." I tell her but she still has that shocked look.
"Wow" is all she says as she stares at the castle in front of us.
"It's awesome right?" I ask her as I stare at her.
"Awesome is in an understatement, this place needs a new word to be invented to explain how amazing it is." She says eyes wide.
"Okay enough with the staring, come on let's get you inside." I say as Damon opens the door for me making me smile brightly.
"Take Maddie to her room, I need to meet with some of the warriors." He says before kissing my forehead before heading there.
I stare at his retreating figure with a goofy smile on my face.
'Stop staring at me babe, I can feel your burning gaze.' Damon suddenly invades my head making me scream slightly causing him to chuckle and I just huff.
That's just the mindlink mate's have with each other. I wonder if he ever had that with Natalie.
"Hey you there." Someone says waving their hand on my face.
I totally forgot a bout Maddie.
"Sorry." I say feeling a slight blush grow ony cheek. Oh goddess I'm blushing almost everytime.
"Yeah whatever, you were really checking him out, you are so whipped." She says as she smirks causing the slight blush a lot more prominent.
I roll my eyes walking off with her bags on my hands. She runs walking besides me laughing her ass off.
We pass through the first floor which already been made as a pack hospital,almost half of it.
I take her to one of the many empty rooms helping her unpack her stuff,and organizing them on her walk in closet.
She also got mesmirized by everything on her room for about twenty minutes while I just unpacked and place her things in her closet even though I didn't know how she wanted her things to be.
After I'm done, where she totally didn't help me we spent the entire day sitting on her bed chatting and eating snacks that I stole from the kitchen.
I actually felt happy finally that she is here and safe. After that, we both fell into a comfortable silence, watched some random show and fell asleep on Maddie's bed.
