End of June
•Louis POV•
We land at the airport and head towards the exit when we get our luggage and head to leave Harry seems to recognize someone and he leads me towards them
"Connor how are you?" He says pulling the man into a hug
From his outfit he seems to be a chauffeur and I'm surprised to see that Harry's family has that much money
"Oh this is Louis," he says breaking away from the hug and gesturing towards me
"Nice to meet you, I'm Connor," he says as he shakes my hand
I smile at him and shake his hand as well. Then he's leading us to the car and he's loading our luggage into the trunk while we wait in the car
"You seem fond of him," I say still waiting for Connor
"Yeah, him and my family's whole staff, they were basically the one's who raised me," He says fondly
Connor enters the car and we begin driving. I make small talk with Connor along the way and learn that in exchange for the service he is providing for the family he and his wife are able to live at the house.
I finally look out the window when the car begins to slow and I see we're pulling up to a gigantic house. I feel completely out of place
My family was pretty rich compared to most families but even this was pretty shocking to me
We get out of the car and Harry offers to help Connor get the luggage but he refuses and takes them all the way to what I would presume would be Harry's bedroom
There is tons of empty space and it looks pretty bare apart from the bed lined with velvet sheets
Connor places down the luggage and leaves to alert Harry's grandparents that we're here
"This is all so big," I say looking around
"Don't treat me different because of this, when I told Finn he completely changed," Harry says sitting on the bed
I sit down next to him and smile
"I'm nothing like Finn love, I'd never do that," I say pulling him onto my lap and into a kiss
We break apart and rest our foreheads against each other's when suddenly a knock and a cough interrupts us
"Am I interrupting anything?" A elegant looking woman asks us from the door
"Gemma!" Harry says jumping off of my lap
"Harry, how are you?" She says pulling Harry into a polite hug
"I'm good, this is Louis," He says gesturing towards me
"Pleasure to meet you," I say standing up and shaking her hand
"And you," She says with a smile
"And will Louis also be attending the wedding? You know I've got to plan ahead," Gemma says looking at Harry
"I would hope so," I say making it obvious I can speak for myself
"Very well, I look forward to seeing you there," She says politely
"Now come boys, Nan is waiting for all of us downstairs," She says leading us downstairs
"Grandpa isn't here?" Harry asks following her
"No, he isn't around lately, have I told you I've already picked out my dress?" She says clearly changing the subject
We arrive at the dining room and Harry's grandmother is sitting waiting for us
We all take a seat and I secretly hold Harry's hand underneath the table.
"Nice to finally meet you Louis," She says completely monotone
"And you Mrs. Styles," I say politely
"Harry and Louis are very close, you won't believe what I caught them doing," Gemma says with a smug smile
"Gemma!" Harry says his worry completely showing
"Harry, never raise your voice like that again," Mrs. Styles says angrily
"I'm sorry Gemma," Harry says quietly
"I was just gonna say they were sitting very close, that's all," Gemma says realizing how quickly the situation had escalated
I bite my tongue as I hold back from completely telling off Harry's family. Instead I reassuringly run my hand over his knee
"Gemma, now that you're getting married you're gonna have to stop chasing drama," Mrs. Styles says clearly fed up
"I wasn't," Gemma responds hurt
"You know what? I've had enough of this dinner and your grandfather isn't even here. I think we should all just go to bed and try to talk again in the morning," Mrs. Styles says suddenly getting up
She walks out of the room and we're all left in silence completely shocked. Gemma leaves next and then Harry leads me back to his room
"I'm sorry you had to be there for that," Harry says as he changes into some comfortable clothes to sleep in
"It's fine, that's none of my business," I say changing as well
We get into bed and I almost immediately fall asleep with the softness of the sheets and my exhaustion from the flight

•Harry's POV•
I'm in Louis' arms when suddenly a knock wakes me from my sleep. I look over at Louis and he's still completely asleep. I get out of bed and open the door to reveal Gemma in her pajamas
"Hey, can I come in?" She says quietly
"Yeah but be careful not to wake Louis," I say opening the door wider to let her in
She takes a seat on the bench at the end of the bed and I sit next to her the light from the hallway illuminating the room
"You really like him don't you?" Gemma says looking over at a sleeping Louis
"He's my boyfriend Gemma," I say despite my own protests
"I know," She says turning to look back at me
"How?" I ask quietly
"I saw you guys kissing when I came in," she says with a smile
"And that doesn't bother you?" I say looking away
"Of course not Harry, we've really failed as a family if you think that we wouldn't still love you," Gemma says kindly
I decide to pull her into a hug. Maybe we didn't show it often but I genuinely loved my family
"Just don't get pregnant or anything," She says jokingly
"A little late for that," I say deciding to completely trust her
She stares at me in complete shock me I almost wanna laugh. Not only at her reaction but at myself for thinking that Gemma didn't truly love me.
"Get out, you're pregnant!?" She says pretty loud
"Shhhhh, you'll wake Louis," I say seeing him stir
"Screw that," she says closing the door and turning the lights on
Louis' eyes slowly open at the sudden light he barley has time to process anything before Gemma jumps on him
"What have you done to my brother?" Gemma asks him playfully
"What?" Louis asks looking over at me
I gesture toward my stomach with a smile trying to clue him in. His eyes go wide once he realizes
"You know about the twins?" He asks sitting up
"Twins?!" Gemma says looking at me like a child with a new toy
I nod at her and she pounces on Louis once again. I try to quiet her before she wakes anyone but before I know it my tired looking grandma enters the room
"What is going on in here?" She asks tiredly
"Gemma what are you doing?" She says noticing Gemma on Louis
"Harry's pregnant!" Gemma says excitedly
Grandma looks shocked at first clearly not believing it then she looks at Louis and her face twist to anger and she's about to speak but then she looks at me and she softens
"Are you?" She asks coming closer eyeing me
I nod unable to speak to overcome with fear
"With twins!" Gemma yells excitedly
"Oh Harry," She says pulling me into a hug
"Aren't you mad?" I ask nervously
"I am a little but what's the point? You're already pregnant, and I- I left you alone in another state what did I expect? I'm happy for you," She says giving me a kiss on the cheek
"But don't you think that just because I'm supporting you that it means I'm going to support you financially. I mean of course I'll help right now in the early stages but you're going to have to get a job," She tells me seriously
"You too Louis," She says turning to look at him
"Yeah of course. Being able to take care of Harry and the twins is my top priority," He says trying to push Gemma off of him
"How old are you Louis? Are you in Harry's grade or younger?" Gemma asks him
"Younger?! What's that supposed to mean?" Louis asks her defensively
"Well it's just your height," Gemma whispers under her breath
"I'm 5'9! And I'm actually 18 turning 19 in December," Louis says crossing his arms
"So you'll be starting college in the fall?" Grandma asks him
"I'm not sure, I wanna drop out in order to care for Harry and the twins when they're actually born. And maybe I'll finish college later on," Louis says nervously
"I think you should discuss that with your parents, see what the best option for you is," She says calmly
"I can't, they kinda disowned me." He says trying to hide his sadness
"Do they know Harry's pregnant?" Grandma asks with sympathy
"No, just the fact that I like boys was enough for them," Louis says laughing dryly
"Well we should all sleep it's late," Grandma says walking over and grabbing Gemma
"We should talk more in the morning," She says looking at me
I nod and close the door as they leave, I turn off the lights and get back into bed and Louis immediately rests my head on his chest
"See you had nothing to worry about," He says playing with my hair
"I guess I was wrong about them, but not about my cousins they're definitely complete assholes," I say remembering I would have to see them tomorrow
Louis lets a small laugh and for once I feel calm, yeah maybe we were way out of our minds thinking we could care for children but
At least we had people who cared about us there to support us
