Super Hot Sharigan Master's POV
"You failed?!" Deidara couldn't help but let out a small snort. "And you call yourselves powerful, un!" He mocked, giving a small eye roll.
"Shut your blonde-ass up!" Hidan growled. The tension in the room was starting to grow thicker and thicker as Hidan and Deidara continued to argue.
It went to the point where it was starting to get on all our nerves, especially Pein.
"Silence," the said man stated, his deep voice echoing all around. His eyes held unamusement as he stared down at the two immortals. "Kakuzu, what caused this failure?" He questioned, no emotion in his voice whatsoever.
"Oh, yeah. That kid from before, she was supposedly with the 2-tails Jinchuriki, but that's not yet confirmed," Kakuzu said, his eyes narrowing towards Kisame and I's direction.
"If only some people wouldn't let their target get away so easily-"
"For Jashin's sake, this wouldn't have happened if fish face and weasel didn't let the brat escape!" Hidan butted in, angrily crossing his arms, and glaring straight at me.
"Now, now, let's not get violent," Kisame said. He still felt amused, even in this situation. That's quite impressive.
"Ha Ha! See? Sasori and I were the only ones who were able to complete our mission, take that, un!" Deidara boasted as he raised his chin up, proudly.
"Oh, that's amazing, senpai!" Our newest member, Tobi, had started to clap his hands together as he complimented Deidara more.
Tobi... is not what he seems.
I have to keep an eye on him.
"Itachi, Kisame." My partner and I turned our attention to our leader. "You will deal with the problem that is causing all this, considering she was supposedly your capture," he stated.
"And what will we do in the meantime?" Kakuzu questioned, raising a brow. Hidan piped down a bit, also listening in on their new orders.
"You will lay low in the meantime. You've already attracted a lot of attention."
Ann.. huh...
As Kisame and I had started to begin the extraction of the 1-tails, I secretly set up a shadow clone to keep an eye out for Ann.
I knew what she was doing. I knew where she was going. Yet, as an Akatsuki member, I didn't stop her.
There was just this feeling that kept nagging at me. I can't be sure, but whatever she's trying to do is definitely crucial.
I just... couldn't bring myself to stop her. I let her escape.
There was just one thing that I hoped for when she told me that she knew what would happen in the future.
I hoped... she'll lead Sasuke to the right path, and that he won't live on with any regrets.
He's still pure and could be easily influenced.
And Ann... she knows what will happen.
I just hope... she'll have the heart help Sasuke, even if he does become stubborn at some times.
That's all I want.
"Itachi, let's head out," Kisame announced as he disappeared. I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and followed right after.
As usual, we were in the middle of the forest. Sometimes we would have short meetings with the others so we needed somewhere we won't be easily spotted.
This place was just one of them.
"Hm, where should we start?" Kisame questioned, grinning slightly. "That brat is an interesting one. It's like she already knew how to deal with the situations she's in."
"It's probably from the beast inside her," I insisted. I don't know if I should tell him about the other beast inside Ann, knowing that would only cause more trouble for her.
"Hmm, you're probably right, Itachi. Hell, I don't think she would be able to do anything without her beast," Kisame hummed before grabbing Samehada by the handle.
"Now, where should we start looking?"

Ann's POV
"Ughh, my head feels sore," I muttered as I lifted my hand up to my forehead. Just as it came in contact, I felt a strange yet painful sting. I winced slightly.
"Don't you remember?" Ariadne questioned. I blinked, cluelessly. I began trying to recall what had just happened. "Hmm... Asuma was dying.." I mumbled, rubbing my chin.
"Then I saved him!" I exclaimed as I snapped my fingers. Ariadne nodded, and she had a somewhat impressed expression. "That was one of the rare times you used my chakra to half of their potential," she stated, sounding like a proud mother.
"Ehh, what exactly is your power? I mean, we time-traveled, and healed, and seen life energy.. what else?" I questioned. Ariadne was kind of caught off-guard by my sudden questions. "Hmm.. well, to put it simply, you can heal, time-travel, see life energy, and.. you can sense chakra, just like Ino and Karin, I guess," she answered. Even she didn't sound that sure of herself.
"And what about yours, Ron? What can you do?" I asked, glancing towards the said flamingo. He shrugged lightly. "Whatever Hughes could do basically. Although he never really depended on my power," he said.
"But to put it in simpler terms. I can sort of create magnetic fields, which are useful for barriers, anything related to electricity-ish, and.. I can teleport easily."
"Oh my god." I covered my mouth in shock. "Is it like when Hughes teleported and there was like black smoke everywhere?" I questioned, wide-eyed.
"Uhh.. yeah?" I let out a loud gasp as a happy expression made its way to my face. "I can finally do it.." I gleamed.
"Do what?" I waved off Ariadne's question. "Not telling. Anyways, can you tell me what's actually happening to me right now?" I asked.
"Shizune and a couple of other medical staff are tending to you, if it weren't for your extra chakra, which is us, you'd be dead by now, gurl," Ron stated, shaking his head side to side.
"Well, what am I supposed to say when I wake up? Oh, I have extra chakra in me that's why I'm still alive? They wouldn't believe that!"
"That could work actually... but you have to act completely clueless about everything, and I mean everything. That's how you get away with every problem, act clueless," Ron said, sounding proud of his little speech.
Ariadne let out a small sigh. "Can't you just tell them that you're Ann? Wouldn't that be easier?" She muttered under her breath.
I tensed up slightly. Would they be happy if I were back? I mean... I thought of them as friends, even until now but.. do they feel the same way towards me?
Wait.. what have I been doing this whole time..?
Yeah, I get that I'm saving people from their deaths and all...
.. wait...
Why did I even do that?
Who was it for..?
"Oi, hooligan! Pay attention, would ya'?!" I got snapped out of my thoughts when suddenly a large shadow started to cover me. Oh no, that's just Ron.
I always forgot about how tall these two are.
"In a few seconds you're gonna be woken up and la la la- don't mess up the plan."
"Eh?!?"

I let out a hoarse gasp as I abruptly sat up. For some reason, I was panting heavily, and clutching on to my chest.
What was that about..?
It was then I felt numbness spread out through my body, forcing me to lay back down. "Ow, ow.." I muttered as I massaged my temple lightly, in an attempt to make the pain go away.
How long have I been unconscious..?
"Yes of course." I heard a distant conversation coming from behind the door. It sounded like a woman. "Then, I'll get going, Shizune-san. The patient is inside if you'd like to check on her."
"Okay. Thank you for your hard work." I stiffened as I heard the door creak open, followed by the sound of footsteps. "Huh? Is she still asleep..?" I heard Shizune mutter.
I was lucky to have my back facing her, so she didn't really see if I was awake or not. "Umm..."
Poor girl. She probably doesn't know what to do since I'm sleeping.
"I know you're awake."

Shikamaru's POV
We all had finished eating, and we were now laying down in an open field.
I remembered this is where we used to train when we were younger so it brought back some memories.
"Ahh, it feels nice," Ino smiled as she spread out her arms. "This brings back some memories, right, guys?" Choji nodded and took out a bag of chips while I let out a small hum in agreement.
"We can come again here with Asuma-sensei, just like the old times!" Choji stated, grinning.
"Huh.. maybe not so much."
"Eh?! What does that mean?" questioned Ino as she gave me a confused stare. "Asuma's fine now, thanks to that girl."
"That's not what I meant," I insisted, sighing. "Asuma has a lot of responsibility now. He has Kurenai, and a kid to take care of. We shouldn't bother them so much."
Ino let an 'ohh' sound before focusing her attention back up at the sky. She looked like she wanted to say something but decided against it.
I glanced to the side, Ino seemed really troubled, and the fact she's not letting us know is gonna make it worse.
I let out a small sigh. "What's on your mind, troublesome woman?" Ino tensed up at my question before sitting up. She's definitely hiding something.
"I was just thinking... what if that girl wasn't there? What could we have done?" She mumbled, her eyes narrowing.
"We probably wouldn't be able to save Asuma-sensei," Choji stated as he stopped munching on his chips. His expression darkened, slightly.
The atmosphere slowly started to change. It became tense, and almost awkward since no one said a word after that.
Great. Now I have to say something. Maybe I shouldn't have asked what was on Ino's mind...
"Well, it's too late to think about that now," I stated. I tried to make my voice a bit more lively but that only made my teammates raise a brow at me.
I guess I really am no good at these kinds of things...
"Everyone's alive, well- some may have some major injuries- but they're still alive nonetheless. Isn't that all that matters?" I questioned, trying to keep in my lazy tone.
To actually say something "inspiring" without my so-called "bored tone", as said by Ino, would actually weird out others, even I'm weirding myself out.
"Pfft--" a small giggle escaped Ino. As I glanced over to her, she quickly covered her mouth with her hand. "Shikamaru-" from behind her hand, muffled giggles and laughs were heard, making me deadpan.
"Sorry, sorry! I just- I never imagined you would say that!" She inquired with a small smile as she looked up towards the sky once more, letting her hand fall to the side. Choji nodded in agreement and resumed eating his chips.
".. Shut up," I stated, making my teammates let out amused chortles. I felt a small grin making its way to my face.
I guess things aren't that bad.
Ann's POV
"Who are you, exactly?" Shizune questioned, her eyes narrowing as she observed me from head to toe. "Your chakra.."
I sweated a bit at her question. Of course, I would be found out this early, why the hell did I even think I can be like one of those spies in the movies?!
I'm such an idiot!
"Ahem."
"Ahemm."
"aHEM--"
What do you want, Ron?
The flamingo let out a loud shriek inside my head as if sounding offended. I sighed at this, to which Shizune looked up from her clipboard, confused.
"Is there a problem?"
I quickly relaxed my face and gave a small smile in her direction. "Sorry, I just feel tired," I stated as I fake yawn.
She cocked her head to the side and raised a brow, clearly suspicious about my behavior. "Okay. If you say so," she replied as she went back to writing on her clipboard.
"This is the part you say, 'Aah, Ron~ please let me have some of your chakra so I can be unidentified by other people."
Wait, your chakra? What do you mean?
"Well, since most of the people here already know how your chakra is, or how it feels like, mostly because of me. It would be best if you use Ron's chakra to not make them suspicious."
Oh, I see...
I could hear both Ariadne and Ron let out a hum of satisfaction, the latter letting out more of a shriek though, in all honesty. Well, he is a bird after all so I guess that isn't really out of the ordinary.
"You seem to be doing much better." I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt a hand feel my forehead, and then my chest. "Actually, much better than you should be," Shizune muttered under her breath.
I scooted back in surprise as I stared up at Shizune. She didn't stare at me back, instead, she left my side, and walked out the door.
That was... weird.
"Okay, let's do this gurl! Make your Ron proud!"
I shook my head at the loud comments, but I complied and leaned back on to the bed, that's been raised slightly. "Do it," I muttered out loud.
It was then it felt as my body was being electrified. The stinging sensation spread out through my body like wild-fire.
And just like that, I felt like.. a whole new different person.
Well, not exactly a whole new person, but it felt as if the aura surrounding had changed drastically. I was still the same person, sure, yet I have no doubt that once Shizune comes back, she'll be majorly confused.
