Sunday 19:35_
Sasha flew past Peter. They were gliding through the streets of Queens looking for trouble. Sasha dove down as a scream reached her ears. Landing easily, she threw her arm to her side catching a man by surprise.
"Sir, give me the purse."Sasha asked, holding him by the collar of his shirt.
"Hell no! Brad catch!"The man yelled throwing the purse to another man.
The man caught it and started running again. Sasha groaned hitting the man lightly with her baton and hauled him over her shoulder. She flew off again. As the man ran he yelled out. His feet were suddenly pulled into the air and he ended up upside down hanging on a street lamp. Peter landed on the street holding the purse in his hand.
"Nice going Spidey!"Sasha said.
"You too! Here lemme just..."Peter said grabbing the man and tying him up like the other man. Turning back to the road he yelled out."Who's is this?!"
"It's mine!"A woman yelled out rushing to Peter."Thank you so much Spiderman!"
"It's no problem ma'am."Peter said.
"And who could you be?"The woman asked turning to Sasha.
"I-I I'm Araneus!"Sasha replied.
"Well thank you Araneus."The nice woman said.
"It's really no problem ma'am!"Sasha said taking off once again with Peter.
She flew between the buildings and above cars along Peter who swung from web to web. She was grinning widely.
"Peter it's about time we go to the building. Hopefully we'll be able to go inside ourselves this time."Sasha said flapping her wings harder to go faster. Peter sped up behind her.
"You wanna grab a sandwich after?"Peter asked her casually.
"Sure! I wouldn't mind a good Subway, haven't had a good turkey sandwich in a while."Sasha admitted."I think I got a few dollars in my backpack. Or it's a bunch of rupees, I really don't know with Wong."
"If you need, I have a few dollars too." Peter reassured her.
"It's a date then!"Sasha laughed catching Peter's hand and flew off carrying him.
When they finally reached the building Sasha let Peter down. She stood next to him. They were in the alley were they had fought those men. Sasha spun around and extended her baton. She forced her baton against a man's chest sending him flying back. Peter quickly webbed him up to the wall. Sasha stepped on a trash can lid and caught it. Throwing it behind her she knocked back a man approaching them.
"We got company!"Peter yelled out swinging in the alley webbing up men coming from inside the building.
"Just get rid of them. Don't get distracted and dont celebrate too fast. Always double tap them."Sasha warned him knocking the guy webbed on the wall on the head.
With a flap of her wings Sasha dashed forward. She grabbed a two men and flew up. When she was at a good height she threw them to the ground. Landing next to them she hit them with her baton. Jumping onto a man she latched onto his shoulders. She drove her foot into his stomach. Jumping off the man's shoulders she placed her baton back into its holster.
Turning to another man she caught his gun and punched him straight in the face. She used the gun as a blunt weapon. Pummeling another man into the ground. She crushed the gun with her foot.
She looked around the fight seemed to have subsided. Peter was surrounded by a mass of webbed ennemies.
"Hey pass me their weapons!"Sasha told Peter. He nodded using his webs to throw the guns. Sasha crushed them one by one. Finally after a bit and a pile of crushed guns, they were done.
"Spidey, so do we just kind of go inside?"Sasha asked him.
"I guess. Let's go."Peter said. The two headed for the door.
"Ladies first."Sasha said to Peter grinning so widely under the mask he could probably see it.
"I am a Queen!"Peter blurted out and pranced into the building. Sasha couldn't believe his reply and just bent over laughing loudly, Peter joined her. She couldn't stop. After a while she calmed down. She was breathing heavily.
"Let's just- let's just go..."Sasha said between breaths. She followed behind Peter into the dark building. They walked through the hall in silence. Every now and then they would encounter a guard. They would swiftully take him down.
Finally they reached a door. They both recognised the door with the strange readings. But there were two giant men in front of it. They both seemed odd, to say the least. They both seemed way to big for it to be normal. Sasha brushed it away and simply pounced on the one closest to her. Peter webbed to the other one.
Sasha grabbed his arm and threw him over her shoulder. He crashed into the ground with a loud sound. Sasha thought she was finished with him but just to be sure she hit him with her baton. She turned back to Peter.
"Looks like we might have that sandwich soon."Sasha said reaching for the door.
"Wait if there is such strange readings you might get hurt."Peter said worried for her.
"Spidey, I'm a super soldier I'll be fine."Sasha assured him. She yelled out as someone caught her leg and threw her back. She hit the ground loudly.
"What the hell he was supposed to be paralysed!"Sasha grunted. The man stood up again.
"Sasha he's too big for me to tie down when he's moving I need you to hold him down."Peter told her.
"Sure!"Sasha grunted out as she was being crushed by the man."Lemme just get this damn bear off me!"
She used her leg to push his back. Grabbing his head she smashed it down onto the floor, knocking him out.
"There you go! Quickly, I don't know if he'll get up."Sasha told him. Peter webbed the man up.
"Let's do this!"Sasha said going towards the door.
Sasha attempted to open the door but it didn't want to move. With a sigh she kicked the door in with her metal prosthetic.
She stepped in. Raising her head she gasped at what was in front of her.
There were hundreds of cages with different animals in them. There was a multitude of tubes containing strange different coloured liquids.
"What is all this?"Peter asked as he stood next to her.
"I have no idea."Sasha said as she went up to a cage containing a group of bunnies. She put her fingers through the bars and the bunnies cowered back into the cage.
"It seems to be animal experimentation."Peter said looking at the tubes.
Sasha went up to the tubes. She stared at the labels in confusion. One tube of clear black silver liquid read, 'AnimalGene-01Liquid[Rabbit]'. Another 'AG-07L[Lizard]'. The list kept going on and on with different animals.
"What even is this? What the hell is that?!"Sasha yelled out. There were giant containers with different animal parts floating in a clear liquid. Clawed paws, antlers, horns, entire animal hind legs, even multiple bird wings.
"Why is that here?!"Peter asked placing his hand against his mouth through the mask. Sasha felt as if she was about to throw up. This was horrible. The wings seemed to be disproportionate to the animal they belonged to.
"I'm gonna puke."Sasha said holding her mouth. She stared around the gigantic room at all the containers.
"Aran I found their computers and their research files!"Peter told her.
"Coming!"She said. She stole one last glance at the recipients. The sight made her wrinkle her nose in disgust. She hurried to Peter. She had managed to catch up with technology thanks to Peter. Looking over his shoulder she read out the names of the files.
"What is all this? Experiment Animal Gene-01Liquid Implant? Subject name Animal Liquid Implant01, codename ALI01? What is all this?"Sasha asked him. She scrolled through different pages of this with lots of horrible pictures."Are these all people they experimented on?!"
"I think so, judging by these there are alot of people!"Peter said still scrolling through. There was a different set of files that caught their attention the first was titled: 'AnimalTransplantProject-Status: Terminated.
Sasha stared at the pictures of the mangled people in disgust. Peter seemed more nauseous than her. There was one line of files that was not like any other.
'Project Chimera Original -[Division-Aves]'
'Project Chimera Reborn-[Division-Cervidae]'
And so on.
Sasha pressed Peter to click the first file. As soon as he clicked a loud noise echoed in the room. Sasha didn't care for the noise.
"No. This can't be real..."Sasha said pointing at the pictures on the screen."Those aren't real! They can't be!"
The pictures were of her. Her, when she was a child after she was taken out of the ice and they had implanted her wings into her. There were multiple shots of close-ups of her bloody back and wings. Sasha gagged. The two didn't have time to continue looking at the files and get information. Whoever had entered earlier was looking for intruders. They walked around loudly.
Sasha crouched down. She caught Peter and pushed him down too. Peter crushed her fingers under his foot. His hands flew in front of her mouth. She let out a muffled groan. Sasha calmed down and concentrated on the giant man who had entered the room.
"The Spiderman and his friend, I know you are there. Come out."The man growled with a thick accent.
Sasha stared at him as he kept going around the room looking for them.
"Aran we have to get those files. We need them."Peter whispered.
"I'll take care of him you get the files. Getting the files is top priority."Sasha told him as she started leaving her hiding spot. Peter jumped up and started transfering the files into the system of his suit.
Sasha stood in front of the man. She was ready to hold back the man.
"Ah there is Spiderman's friend."The man said his strong accent slightly creeping out Sasha. She pulled out the artefact quickly and jumped at the man. Kicking his face and punching her artifact into his legs. She kept at her barrage of attacks. The man didn't react but he did slightly flinch when she hit him.
"Spidey hurry up! This dude is unaffected by my artefact!"Sasha yelled out to him.
The man finally grabbed her arm and threw her to the ground. She groaned as she hit the floor. Lifting here's of the ground she only met the man's punch. She was sent flying and crashed into the floor next to Peter.
"Aran, I'm almost done! Can you keep him busy a bit longer?"Peter asked her nervously.
"Spidey, this guy is a giant! I can try my best but I don't know if I'll be able to!"Sasha replied flying towards the man and wrapping her arms around his neck trying to choke him.
The man simply grabbed her and ripped her off his back. She caught onto his arm and swung forward. She landed on the floor gracefully. Jumping back she kicked at his back multiple times causing him to groan a few times and slightly flinch. Sasha jumped back she dodged a punch. She dove to the side to dodge another attack. The man leaned down and grabbed her by the neck. He was trying to choke her.
"Aran, I'm done!"Peter yelled out to her.
"Well then hurry up and help me dude!"Sasha gasped out, choking.
Peter jumped from the computer. He rushed to Sasha. Kicking the man back he let go of Sasha. Sasha landed roughly. She massaged her neck and groaned.
"Well that's going to bruise..."She huffed.
"It's not too hot to wear a scarf so you should be fine."Peter told her.
The man got back to them. He loomed tall over them. Sasha readied herself and jumped catching the man's head into a head lock. Using his weight she toppled him over and he fell loudly. He reacted quickly and punched Sasha straight in the face. A resounding cracking noise echoed.
"Ah sh-!"Sasha exclaimed grabbing onto her nose through her mask as a red liquid was absorbed into the fabric of the cheaply made mask.
Peter jumped onto the man managing to punch him hard enough to break his nose too. Sasha got up groaning as the blood kept spreading.
"Let's go! We have the files we don't need to spend anymore time here."Peter yelled out to her. Sasha ran behind him.
"Goddamn, he got my nose good!"Sasha blurted out slightly talking with a nasal voice.
"Sorry about that, the files took too long to upload to my suit."Peter stuttered out.
"It's fine I just hope my nose heals before tomorrow."Sasha groaned running in front of Peter using her wings to boost her.
"Enemies coming from the left!"Peter yelled out and pushing Sasha forward. They dodged a group of men that tried to attack them head on.
"Let's get out of here!"Sasha held out her bloody gloved hand to Peter. He caught it and she flew forward. Dragging Peter along to get out of the building as quick as possible. He held on tightly.
Sasha flew past a group of thugs and through the door of the building. She flew into the sky of Queens. She held onto Peter as they headed towards his apartment building. Sasha helped Peter swing when he didn't have anything to grab onto.
