Peter's P.O.V.
We get of the elevator once we reach the floor where the research labs are located. Ned nudges my side and I look at him. "What's wrong?" I ask him, curious why he looks so scared. "Mr.Banner" He just answers and he points towards one of the corners of the lab we just entered. And in that corner is uncle Bruce helping an higher level intern, Ian. Ian is one of my friends here at the tower, and I'm sure he'll greet me very happily when he sees me. Luckily neither Ian nor uncle Bruce has noticed our group and the class doesn't seem to notice that THE Dr.Banner is in the same room as them. That is of course, until Lizzy greets him.
"Dr. Banner, I'm sorry, I didn't know you were gonna be here today. Do you want me to show them another lab?"
"Who is them?" uncle Bruce says not looking up from his work with Ian.
She looks and me and I nod, he knows I was going to be here today. She gives me a slight nod back, understanding what I mean, and answering with "It's the tour from Midtown High, Dr.Banner"
At this Ian turns around and asks uncle Bruce while scanning the group "Isn't that Peter's school?" His eyes meet mine and I wave. "Hey Ian". uncle Bruce turns around too and moves to hug me. "Hey Pete, how is your tour going?". I hug him back and ask him, while very aware that my class is staring at me with open mouths, "Great, what are you working on?"
"I'll show you in a minute, we kinda needed your help anyway" He winks and turns to Lizzy and my class. "No, Miss Tikse. This lab is free. You can let them do the robot building exercise for the tours?" uncle Bruce suggests, and Lizzy's face lights up. "Great idea, Dr.Banner! Would you explain it to them please, then I can go up for a minute to make sure their lunch will be ready in an hour" Lizzy asks uncle Bruce and he nods, sending her off.
I have been talking to Ian for the last few minutes. I haven't seen him in a week, he was sick last week. But we turn our attention to the group when uncle Bruce sends Lizzy away. Uncle Bruce looks at me and then turns to the group. I get what he means and set up the exercise with some help from Ian and Ned, who has done the exercise before too.
"Hello Midtown" uncle Bruce greets my class, and laughs at their shocked faces "It's fine, I don't bite. And I won't turn green" He winks. That seems to break the tension slightly, until Flash, being the idiot that he is, decides to open his mouth and ask the question I've been dreading. "How the hell do you know Peter? He's just a big nobody who lies about an internship at a company which doesn't even hire high-schoolers!?" Bruce looks at him,opening his mouth and then closing it again, and then turns to me. I gesture him to come talk to me real quick. "Hold on for a moment please. Ian, could you explain the exercise to them please?" Ian nods and goes to talk to the group.
Uncle Bruce walks towards me, one of his veins getting slightly green. "Hey, Hey, Hey. Please calm down, Uncle Bruce, Please? He has been doing this forever. Okay? He isn't going to stop, just go with the story Lizz told that I'm 'the best intern here' and say that I help you in the lab" He looks at me like I'm crazy, but his vein does get back to normal. I let out a sigh of relief, and he sighs too, which is followed with a response that I REALLY didn't wanted to hear. "Pete, I can't leave this going on. You know that right. I have to tell Tony or Steve, I'm sorry. But I can't let this happen. Has he ever gotten physical?" My eyes drop to the floor and that seems answer enough for him. He rubs across his forehead and pulls me into a hug. "So that's why you're always covered in bruises. Why don't you defend yourself? You know you can easily take him" He says, genuinely not understanding why I don't just hit him back. "I know, that's the problem. If I ever do hit him, and I lose control... I'm just a little bit stronger than him you know?" I whisper. Uncle Bruce nods, and then says "It's okay, return to your tour. But we do need to tell your dads" I sigh and bury my face further into his chest. "I know, but I need to tell Wade first." "Okay, but after that we are going to tell them. Together, okay?" He asks softly. "Okay"
He lets go of me and I return to my group, walking straight to MJ, Ned and Ian. Ignoring everyone else. Uncle Bruce calls Flash to him, and when Flash returns he seems terrified. I hide a grin and uncle Bruce winks at me. Lizzy returns to the group 15 minutes later and takes us to the cafeteria. I say goodbye to Ian and run to give uncle Bruce a quick hug "See ya tonight, thanks!" He smiles and waves at me as I run to the elevator "See ya tonight Kid"

We're about halfway through lunch, when I hear someone yell "BABYBOY" in the hallway. Ned and MJ laugh and the rest of the class looks at the door with, once again, open mouths. I jump up from my chair en practically run to my boyfriend, who stands in the doorway. I hug Wade and block out everything else for a moment while he hugs me back. Sensing that I'm upset, he whispers "baby, what's wrong? You're shaking" sounding concerned. "I'll tell you later, okay?". He pulls me just a little bit closer, shielding me from the rest, which I'm very thankful for. "Okay" he answers soft. He gives me a kiss, which I return happily. When we pull apart, he looks at me and grins. "Baby, who are you with?" I punch him lightly against his arm, "You know perfectly well who I'm with" I laugh.
"Oh yes, I know" he laughs. He grabs my hand and walks toward the table where I was sitting with Ned and MJ. "Hey guys" He greets them, and he sits on the chair next to mine.
"Hey Wade" MJ greets him, closing her book.
"What's up Wade" Ned asks followed with "Hey Peter, are you gonna sit down?". I realise I'm still standing and sit down. My enhanced hearing makes sure that I hear every single thing my class is saying behind me.
"Peter has a boyfriend?"
"Who the hell is that?"
"How do Ned and MJ know him so well??"
And then I hear Flash, the straightest dude I know, say the gayest thing I've ever heard him say. "That's Parker's boyfriend? He's so hot!" which I can handle, that's fine. But it's followed with "How the hell is Parker good enough for him?" And I can pretend that I didn't hear him. At least I could, but then Wade turns around. And he's angry, very angry. *Shit,Shit,Shit* He's not wearing his suit right now, but he's on a 11 months no-killing streak. And I would like it if that would stay that way.
"Wade, babe" I rush towards him, grab his arm, and pull him to a corner of the room, aware of the 23 pairs of eyes that follow us. "Babe, calm down. 11 months, remember?" I asks Wade, looking in his eyes. He looks back at me (he was still glaring at Flash over my shoulder) and his expression, to my relief, softens. "But, Babyboy." He pouts "I can't even unalive him a little bit?" He asks. I give him a look and he sighs "Fine, no unaliving" I kiss him and he smirks "But I didn't say anything about making something very clear to him. And with that he walks towards Flash, who grins and stands up with a challenging look in his eyes. My eyes meet those of Ned and MJ and they quickly rush towards me. I've followed Wade and grabbed his arm again. "Babe, please. Leave it alone" He looks at me and smiles, and then answers with "Baby, I love you. But no." And then he turns his attention to Flash. He smiles and starts walking closer towards him, when he's face-to-face with him he picks up Flash at the hem of his shirt. Flash, who was grinning a second ago, looked terrified now.
Wade holds Flash against the wall and starts talking. And I know, he won't hurt him, but I still follow them and gesture to the rest of the class and Ms.Brooks to stay behind. The latter, for once in her life listening to me, stays behind.
Wade is really angry, and Flash looks more and more terrified with the second. "Listen, you little shit. 'How is Parker good enough for him?' I'll tell you how. First of all, he's the nicest and most caring person I've ever met. Unlike you, he cares for other people. He doesn't bully anyone and when somebody insults his family or friends he gets very, very angry. Believe me, you don't wanna see. He's great with kids, loves his family more than anything and he helped me through a lot. So, he's way too good for me. And I'm just glad I'm good enough for him. And believe me, if it wasn't for him, you would have a lot more problems right now than a ripped shirt. Maybe you could thank him for once in your life "
I unhook Flash from his grasp and he runs back to the group. I sigh, what an idiot. I turn my attention to Wade, smiling and saying softly "Babe, of course you're good enough for me. I love you so much" I hug him and he smiles at me. "Hey, would you mind going upstairs until the rest of the tour is over? Ask Pops if you can put on your suit and take part in the Q&A at the end of the tour" I suggest. He laughs "Sure babyboy, see ya later then. Love you too" He gives me another kiss, waves at Ned and MJ, gives Flash a look, and walks towards the elevator.
Lizzy is laughing and walks towards me. "This can only happen to you" I sigh and nod, laughing "I love my life". She grins and calls the class together. "Next is a trainingsession with some of the Avengers, and then follows a Q&A" The class cheers, except Flash, who seems to have lost his tongue. We follow Lizzy into the elevator and I stand next to her "Hey Lizz, I didn't know about an training" I whisper slightly alarmed. "I was just informed of it" She explains. *Shit, Bruce talked. Maybe Wade is going to too. Great*
A/N Sooooo, the fieldtrip will probably take another 1 or 2 chapters and then there probably will be 1 or 2 follow-up chapters next. Hope you guys enjoyed
