When I woke up, I was still in the same spot as when I fell asleep.
Except Cameron was gone.
"How could you?!" I heard from upstairs.
I wrapped myself in the blanket, his house being so cold.
"Dude, I love her!"
I knew that voice all to well, but I couldn't leave now that the door was opening and I was standing right infront of it.
Jack came stumbling out of Cameron's room, and once he saw me, he looked flustered.
"Leighly." Jack said surprised.
"What are you-" then he noticed my messy hair and Cameron's blanket.
"Oh." He said in a discusted tone.
"Sorry to wake you your highness."
"Oh shut up." I said meanly.
Jack looked taken back.
"Yes, I did sleep over at Cameron's! We didn't do anything! He can respect me-"
"No he can't-"
"He can- w-w-what?" I said stumbling upon my words.
"He's cheating on you."
I looked at the flustered Cameron behind Jack.
"I'm not! How could you listen to him!" Cameron yelled.
"You're lying." I said taking steps back.
"You both, you BOTH lied to me," I said throwing the blanket and running downstairs.
"Leighly-" they both called.
I grabbed my purse and ran.
I didn't have my car so I ran 12 blocks to get to my apartment.
I fumbled with my keys as I got to my apartment.
I opened the door and collapsed.
"Woah-" a voice said. I felt two arms hold my grasp, as my eyes were on the floor, two inches from my face.
The voice helped me up. I turned around to find the face of the two strong arms.
It was Jack.
Jack Johnson, Jack Gilinsky's best friend.
His blonde hair was spiked up, and his eyes were brighter today.
I hugged him tight.
"Jack," I said into his shirt.
He pulled me back.
"Where's Gilinsky?" He asked.
"It's over Johnson," I said.
Jack smiled.
"How do you know my last name?" He asked.
"Easy. I've always been a fan of the magcon boys." I said smiling at him.
"Jack Johnson." I said smirking.
He smiled.
He hugged me again.
"Well, I have a friend then, I'm hoping you'll like." Jack said.
He stepped out of the way and I saw Cameron.
My smile faded.
"Jack." I said.
"No, Leighly, he isn't cheating on you. Gilinsky lied."
Never in all the years I've known Jack Gilinsky has he ever lied to me. Not once.
"Cameron you have some explaining to do." I said.
Cameron smiled reassuringly.
"I know." He said.
