I was having a peaceful dream that was interrupted by,
"KURO! It's the third day! You have to get up an ready to go to Hosu!" I groaned and pulled by blanket over my head.
"Don't make me go in there!~ You know what'll happen!~" I shudder and shuffle out of bed. My feet hitting the floor loud enough for Nemuri to know I was up and awake. I yawned and stretched out my arms receiving a satisfying pop. I stood up and put on my borrowed costume. I sigh and put it on. I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair. Once I finished I walked out of the room I was staying in, only to see Nemuri holding some toast.
"Eat up! All the outfits are already at the site." She says with a smirk. I sigh and eat the toast. We walk out the door as she waves down a Taxi. She steps in keeping the door open for me. I step in and put on my seatbelt while finishing my toast.
"Where to?"
"Hosu City, at Kanji Modeling Agency." Aunt Nemuri says to the driver, they nod and drive out towards Hosu. It was going to be a semi-long ride but not too bad. Nemuri sang to some of the songs. I leaned back in my seat while lip synching the lyrics. We finally stop at the agency and we both step out. The driver drives off and I look up to see a tall building. As I looked up something flies by. What was that...?
BOOM!
I look to Nemuri as she says,
"Come with me! There are civilians that need us!" I nod and follow her. We run in the direction of the thing that flied by, the skies became smoky. Me start to see Endeavor and buildings on fire. We look around more and see an old man and a Nomu with four eyes and it crawled on the ground. I shudder at the sight and Nemuri runs forwards and I follow in suit. We both rip our sleeves as she sends out her sleeping gas that in ineffective due to the Nomu not seemingly human. I send out my kemuri and attempt to wrap it around the Nomu. It ran/crawled away before I could stop it, Endeavor shoots fire at it so I have time to get it. I capture the Nomu, I look at it and see it is either passed out or dead because of the flames. I let go of the Nomu, I get a text and pull out my phone, Wait... I don't have pockets, where did it come from? I-I'm not going to question anime logic... I see a text from Midoriya and it's his location. He's also in Hosu? A lot is going on so maybe something is really bad where he needs backup... But an alleyway- Oh shit... IIDA! I look to my aunt and say,
"I have to go I think my friend might be fighting the Hero Killer."
"What, wha-"
"Okay, gotta go. Bye!" I then ran off to the alley, before I could enter I see Shoto shooting out flames. I rip more of my sleeve and what I can of my thigh. I release my kemuri into sharp spear like shapes. As the fire disappears we see Stain,
"One after another... So many interruptions today..." The murderer says.
"Midoriya. Learn to write more specific directions. I was almost too late." I then walk up from behind him,
"Are you guys okay? We will get you out of this alive.-" I stare at Stain.
"-And end your spree of murdering innocent Heroes..." Shoto had fire coming from his left side and ice coming from his right foot.
"One after another... Hahh... Time might be up for someone..." Iida and Midoriya were both lying on the ground, stomach down.
"Todoroki, Kuro, you too? But how'd you...?" Iida guiltily says.
"And your left side...!" Midoriya yells out in surprise.
"Took me a few seconds to figure it out. That group text to everyone with nothing but your location.-" Shoto was sending out ice while saying,
"-Because sending out a totally meaningless message isn't your style. I realized it meant, 'I'm in trouble. Help.'" Stain jumps over the ice and Midoriya and the other Hero end up getting frozen. I prepare my kemuri.
"The Pros'll be here." He says while dashing forward and sending out fire causing the ice to melt and Midoriya and the Hero to fall, they landed behind us, right by Iida.
"It's just like the reports said. But you're not killing these guys today, Hero Killer." I feel like I'm not doing much... I just need to defend these guys since I can't shoot out my kemuri as fast.
"Guys, don't let him draw blood! Pretty sure he paralyzes opponents by ingesting their blood! That's how he got us!" Midoriya yells out.
"Explains all the blades. So I've just gotta keep my distance..." He says as we both regain fighting stance. Stain throws a knife at Shoto, he charges at him and I use my kemuri to stop the knife. Stain jumps up with a sword in his left hand and says,
"You've got some good friends... Ingenium!" Stain lunges his left hand holding the sword forward and Shoto shoots up an ice pillar up, it was taller than him. Stain glances up so we both do as well and we see a katana dangerously close to Shoto's head. I use my kemuri to protect him by deflecting it. While we looked up Stain came up to Shoto with a small dagger and attempts to slash his left cheek. I use my kemuri to cover his cheek so when the dagger came into contact it didn't puncture his skin. Shoto send out more fire and ice as Stain ran back. I removed my kemuri.
"Close one."
"Why...? All... of you... Just stop it... I've inherited my brother's name. I have to do this. He's mine to..." Iida says while facing the ground.
"Inherited his name? That's weird..." Shoto sent out more ice that fills most of the alleyway as Stain jumps over it.
"Cuz the Ingenium I know never made faces like that. Guess your family's also got a dark side to it."
"Todoroki... Kuro..." Midoriya says. Stain cuts up all the ice in a blink of an eye and says,
"Obstructing your own vision when up against an opponent faster than yourself... Poor strategy, indeed." Shoto covers his left arm in flames.
"You'd like to think so." Before I could react Stain throws two blades into Shoto's arm and one into my right arm. I pull it out as my arm heals. Midoriya gets pushed because of the ice then stands up and runs to out left.
"Get back, Midoriya!" He runs to my left side jumping over ice Shoto sent at Stain in the process.
"He tasted our blood and paralyzed us. But I was the first to break free somehow. I can think of three possible explanations. Either the effect is weaker the more people he uses it on... Or it's about how much blood he gets... Or its effectiveness depends on blood type..." Midoriya says.
"Blood type...? I'm B." The unknown Hero says.
"And I'm A..." Iida says.
"Blood type... Hahh... That's right.
"Though it's not like knowing that'll really help us..."
"We need to hurry and get these two out of here... He's quick enough to react to both my fire and ice. So I'm not seeing an opening. Until the Pros get here... Our best hope is to keep him at bay and keep dodging." Shoto says.
"You've got too much exposed blood, Todoroki. I'll draw his attention while you provide rear support! And Kuro, keep defending us and protecting those two." I nod.
"Pretty risky plan... But yeah. The three of us will protect them." Shoto says.
"Three-on-one, huh... At least you're not naive." Stain says. Midoriya powers up and jumps towards him and Shoto uses his flames.
"Stop it... I can't... Take it..." Iida says. Stain cuts Midoriya.
"If you want to stop this, then stand up and stop it!" I yell at Iida. Stain licks the blood off his sword and paralyzes Midoriya. Stain cuts the ice heading at Shoto.
"Never forget who you want to become!" I yell. Shoto shoots fire at him but he dodges by going to Todoroki's left.
"Ice and fire." Stain said. Since he was close I used my kemuri and have it expand.
"Hasn't anyone ever told you? Relying too heavily on your quirk makes you sloppy." He gets in close to cut off Shoto's arm, he was paying full attention to Todoroki so I used this time to use my kemuri that was out and surround Stain, he was apprehended.
"I won't let you hurt my friends... The Hero Killer Stain, the Heroes that had to retire and were killed deserve justice, since they worked hard for it. Whether or not their goal is one similar to ours and what is praised upon by society doesn't matter, what matters is their fighting for their dream that you took away." I say while having eye contact with the criminal. I make wings so he can fly behind us while we walk out. The Hero and Iida then were able to stand up.
"I'm Native. T-Thank you." I give a nod as he picks up Midoriya and puts him on his back. Stain sighs as we walk out of the alleyway.
"Sorry... I'm supposed to be a Pro, but all I did was get in the way." Native says with a guilty look.
"Don't sweat it... It would've happened to anyone in a one-on-one against the Hero Killer and his quirk... He's so strong..." Midoriya says.
"At least you know." Stain says and I use my kemuri to cover his mouth.
"Even in a three-on-one fight, we just barely won because he screwed up. He probably got so determined he forgot about Kuro. He also didn't know there is basically no way to escape.
"Huh?! Whaaa... Why're you here?!" An old man says from the other side of the street. Wait... Torino?!
"Gran Torino!" He then flied over to us and kicks Midoriya in the face.
"I told you t'stay in your seat!"
"Torino!!" I say. He then turns to me.
"Kuro? You're also interning here?" I nod.
"Well... I don't know what happened here, but... Glad to see you're still alive." Torino says.
"Gran Torino... I'm sorry." Then a random Hero comes around the corner.
"Is this... The alley he mentioned?! Huh?" More Heroes come from the corner. About 5 unknown Heroes come up to us.
"We got a backup request from Endeavor. But... Kids...?!"
"They're badly hurt. Call an ambulance!"
"Hey, is that... The Hero Killer?!" Some of them look up to see Stain flying, he just rolls his eyes.
"So he's... Endeavor's still over there fighting, then?" Shoto says.
"Oh yeah. Those Nomu siblings or whatever..." Midoriya chimes in.
"Yes! Those of us whose quirks had no effect on those Villains came to help you guys." Does that mean...?
"KURO!" I see aunt Nemuri run to me and I pale. She hugs me in a death grip.
"My poor niece! Are you hurt?! You said something about the Hero Killer! I was so worried!!" She hugs me as tight as possible.
"Nemuri... I- I can't... Breath..." She gasps and loosens her death grip but still holds on and pets my hair. I turn to my friends and the Heroes and they all sweat-drop.
"Wait... Niece...? Is that why you look so similar and have similar quirks!" Midoriya ways while writing... Invisible notes...? I shake my head and he gives a defeated look.
"The three of you... You were wounded because of me. I am so terribly sorry... I... ...Was blind... I lost sight of everything!" Iida says while bowing and crying. Midnight lets go of me to hear what he has to say.
"No, I'm sorry too... I couldn't tell at all that you were so upset about it. And I'm supposed to be your friend..." Midoriya says.
"Get it together. You're Class President, aren't you?"
"Yes..." Iida says while standing up straight and wipes his tears.
"GET DOWN!" Torino yells while a Nomu with wings flies by.
"Huh?" Midoriya says.
"A Villain! How could Endeavor let it go...?" The Hero says. We all duck but it grabs Midoriya in it's clawed feet. I get an idea on how to help. Before I could fly away too far I use my kemuri and direct Stain to head towards it. He goes head first into the front of the Nomu. The Nomu falls so I direct Stain's arms to grab Midoriya and bring him to us. You can see in Stain's eyes that he is clearly not happy, maybe he was feeling psychotic but I could care less. Midoriya was safely set beside us.
"Thanks Stain." I say with a taunting grin as you can see veins popping within him. The other Heroes who don't know my quirk look like they are ready to pass out.
"Don't worry, he is under my control." I say with a grin. One guy loses all color and does end up passing out.
"Why're you all bunched up together?!" We hear a yell and we turn to see no other than Endeavor himself.
"One of them should've headed your way!"
"Endeavor!" Some of the Heroes yell.
"You're already finished?!" One of the Heroes asks.
"More or less. I had to get a little rough! Wait... Is that..? The Hero Killer?" I have stain wave before I say,
"Yeah, don't attack. He's under my control." I say to the fiery trash.
~After~
Stain went to jail and I was just in the Hospital with Shoto, Iida, and Midoriya since they said they wanted to talk to the four of us.
"I'd say... It's a miracle we're all still alive. And with my leg... If he wanted to kill me... He could've." Midoriya said while looking at his bandaged left leg.
"Yeah. He definitely let us live.-" Shoto said looking at his arm before looking up at us.
"-I came to save you but ended up needing your help. Sorry."
"Not at all." Iida replies.
"It's not like that. I..." Iida says but was interrupted by the door opening revealing Torino, an unknown Hero, the Police Chief, and Nemuri.
"Ohh, all the little wounded warriors are awake!"
"Gran Torino!"
"Mr. Manual!"
"Aunt Nemuri!" No use hiding it... She did call me her niece already... Torino walks up to Midoriya and says,
"I'm still gonna chew you out, but... Before that, you've got a visitor." They then try to stand.
"This is Mr. Kenji Tsuragamae, Hosu's Chief of Police."
"Tsuragamae! Ch-Chief of Police?!" Midoriya yells out.
"Please stay seated, woof. So you're the U.A. students who put a stop to the Hero Killer, woof. As for the Hero Killer... He's currently in treatment for his burns, broken bones, and a number of other serious injuries, woof. At the dawn of this extraordinary era, the Police moved to prioritize leadership and to maintain the status quo so they decided not to use quirks as a weapon. The profession of 'Hero' rose as one that would fill that void, woof. Authorizing the use of such might... Of these powers that could so very easily kill was a heavily criticized decision at first, but it would garner public support. All because your predecessors acted morally and complied with the laws, woof. But those without permission... Those who inflicted harm without explicit instruction from the Police and powers that be... Even if they were to face someone like the Hero Killer... Such action would represent a stunning breach of the law, woof. You four, as well as your Pro Hero mentors... Endeavor. Midnight. Manual. Gran Torino. The eight of you must be dealt with strictly and impartially." I look down in shame.
"Hold on a minute." Todoroki says while standing up.
"Todoroki..." Iida calls out.
"If Iida hadn't acted, Native would've been killed. And if Midoriya hadn't shown up, both of them would be dead. Nobody knew the Hero Killer was in town. Should we have let people die, all in the name of your 'law'?!" Shoto says.
"Whoa, whoa." Midoriya says while looking at him and putting his right hand up to stop Shoto's rant.
"Everything turned out fine, so just forget about the law this time! Isn't it a Hero's job to save people?" Shoto yells out with his fists clenched.
"Clearly you've much to learn. Some education you're getting, woof, from U.A. and Endeavor." The Chief continues.
"You mutt..." Shoto says.
"Stop! This is serious!" Iida says while attempting to stop him.
"Wait... Just listen to what he's got to say." Torino says while putting his left arm up to stop him.
"All of that... Is what I'm obligated to tell you, as the Police. But... The real question is whether or not to deal with this issue publicity, woof. If we let the story out, you'll all be lauded by the public, but you won't be able to avoid punishment. But if we keep all this nasty business to ourselves... The Hero Killer's burns will support the story that Endeavor was the key operative. He'll receive the accolades, woof. Fortunately, the number of eye-witnesses was small enough that we can hush up the whole matter before it causes problems, woof. But in that case, your decisive action and achievements will remain unknown to the general public. What do you say?! I'm an understanding man. So when it comes to a promising group of young people I'd rather not have to pursue charges over this admittedly massive indiscretion, woof!" He says with a thumbs up.
"Either way, our negligence is to blame. We have to take responsibility." Manual says.
"I'm so very sorry..." Iida says while bowing in front of Manual.
"Yeah! You caused big trouble for your mentor, so don't do it again!" Manual says while hitting Iida on the back of his head.
"Thanks for everything." We all say in sync while bowing to the Police Chief.
"The world's an unfair place. You'll receive none of the commendations that you might have otherwise, but at least as someone invested in keeping the peace... I can thank you!"
"You could've led with that." Todoroki mumbles but loud enough for us to hear.
We'd had no idea we'd end up in that back-alley battle...
And in the end, the world would never know what we had done.
We couldn't tell at the time, but the implications were already gnawing away at us.

So today I got my blood test done and I almost passed out. I got to the point where I couldn't see but could only hear everyone around me. I ended up putting my head by my knees to get blood heading to head. The nurses were freaked out saying I looked bad since I am naturally very pale so I was ghost white. That was an experience...
