"Yo' ass still dramatic" Brooklyn said.
I just stared at her. I studied her every move. It was like watching myself.
"You pretended to be dead and I'm dramatic" pawpaw said.
"Speaking of dead, do you know how much money i spent on that casket and you telling me you not in that bitch?" Pawpaw stressed.
"Shut the hell up" grandma said.
"I had to do what i had to do to protect my kids" Ma said.
"What happened?" Grandma asked.
"Then i got that expensive ass tombstone. That was 2 bands right there" Pawpaw said.
"David I swear on my kids if you-" Grandma started.
"Which ones? The dead ones or the alive ones?" Pawpaw asked making me bite my lip.
I knew i was still high because this was not a funny moment at all.
"I told you to stop playing with me" Grandma said slapping him.
He touched his lip.
"No she didn't" he mumbled to himself as he pressed the nurse button.
"Is visiting hours over?" he asked.
"Yes sir, do you need extended time?" The nurse asked.
"No, i want these people out my damn room" pawpaw said.
"Bitch shutup I'm leaving" Grandma said grabbing her purse.
"I love you pawpaw.. Even though you kicking us out" i said hugging him.
"I ain't kicking you out, but Casper the ghost and the wicked witch of the west gotta go" he said.
"Wait till you get home" grandma said.
"Gone now Ari" he said turning ESPN on.
"I gotta get home. It's still some guests there" grandma said as we walked to the elevator.
"Dad told me to get home" i said checking my phone.
"I'll take you" ma said.
I just nodded. I didn't know how to keep a conversation with her yet. Once we got off the elevator and in the parking garage we hugged before going different ways.
"Can i smoke?" I asked getting in the car.
"Does your dad let you smoke around him?" she asked.
"Yeah, me and Kobi smoke with him" i answered.
She laughed, shaking her head.
"I should've known but yeah" she answered.
I took out my gar pack, sliding out an already rolled blunt. I put it in my mouth before lighting. Once I inhaled I instantly got calm.
"Jack Rabbit when he put the dick in it. How you nut and you barely put the tip in it?" Ma rapped.
"60 seconds got him gone, that's a quick minute. He ain't never felt some pussy with some grip in it" I rapped.
"Hair done, nails done like a BAD BITCH! Broke niggas turned me into a SAVAGE. I can't fuck him if he AVERAGE. Way more bag then your LAST BITCH" we both rapped.
I smiled at her before passing her the blunt.
"Can't believe I'm smoking with my mama" i said.
"Can't believe I'm with my mama, period" i said.
"I never wanted you to grow up without a parent, let alone your mother. But when i was attacked that night i knew i had to protect you guys. I knew Jon would slap the whole world before he'd let anything happen to y'all" she said.
"Facts, Pops would smack the whole world if he could" i laughed.
"Wait, someone attacked you?" I asked.
"Now that's another story for another night, not tonight.. I just wanna enjoy this" she said.
"Aye, puff puff pass Ma. I done watched you hit it 'bout 6 times" i said.
"If you ain't just sound like Jon" she laughed passing it.
"He missed you. He hasn't dated or even shown interest in a woman" i said.

"I BEEN HOLDING OUT THIS LONG FOR NOTHING" dad yelled.
I was at the top of the stairs trying to listen to their argument.
"Jonathan I didn't have a choice. That bitch tried to kill me because of you! She tried to kill our kids.. I wasn't allowing it" she said.
"What? What bitch?" he asked.
"JAZMYN" Ma yelled.
My mouth dropped.
"Fuck you mean she tried to kill you? I thought you fell" dad said.
"She was gone before Trey and Dede came home. That bitch hit me in the back of the head with a bat and kicked me in the stomach" ma said.
"You gotta be bullshittin'. Jaz did that? Why?" he asked.
"She said only she could have your kids" Ma said.
"That don't even make no fucking sense. She had Niya with Trey" he said.
"That's another reason i left" ma said.
"Because she had a baby with your brother?" Dad asked.
"No because she had your baby" Ma said.
"Fuck you talking 'bout?" Dad asked.
"Aniya is yours, the bitch sent me the DNA results the night before. That's why i told you we needed to talk that morning" Ma said.
Either i was really high or Ma just said Jazmyn goofy ass tried to kill her and us, and Aniya is my sister. Nah, Fred new shit gotta be laced.
"Nah, hell nah. I ain't take no DNA test" dad said.
"You didn't have to. She had a sample of amniotic fluid from her uterus tested and they still had your DNA on file from when you got tested for Journey. Long story short, it said 99.9%" Ma explained.
"Let me get this right.. So yo' ass alive, Jazmyn tried to kill you, and Aniya is mine" dad said.
"Ding ding ding, i think we got a winner" ma said.
"Ima handle Jaz ass, best believe ima handle her. As for the Niya situation, ima get tested again" dad said.
Ma just nodded. Dad stared at her.
"You look good, B" dad said.
"You knew" she smirked.
"I ain't know shit. I thought you was rotting away" dad said.

"I'm dead! Get it?" Dad asked stomping his feet as he laughed.
Ma mugged him. I laughed before going back to my room. I caught my phone just in time as it rang.
"What Kobi?" I asked.
"Is pops home?" he asked.
"You too old for this" i said.
"Is the nigga home or not?" he asked.
"Yes and mom" i said.
"And mommmm?" he asked.
"Did you forget what happened tonight?" I asked.
"What's today?" He asked.
"Are you serious? Where are you?" I asked.
"Man I'm outside sis, I'm off the motherfuckin' percs" he said.
"Good luck percie" i said.
I heard Black laughing and i frowned.
"Tell that black bitch to stop laughing 'cause he ain't no better" i snapped.

"Bye Kobi" i said before hanging up.

We finally made it upstairs and i helped him to his room. He plopped on his bed and I sat the water on the nightstand. I went to the bathroom and grabbed the trash can and sat it next to his bed. He always throws up when he do percs.

I walked into my room seeing Black undressing.
"Uh uh" i said as he went for my bed.
"What?" he asked.
"Floor" i said.

"I don't care. You could've stayed at Cedes' house" i said.
"I wasn't even at Cedes' house" he lied.

"Sleep all that perc animosity off" i said.

"Boy, go to Kobi room then" i said.
"He always throwing up" he said.

"Take yo' mad ass to sleep" i said.
"So i can't sleep at the bottom of the bed?" he asked.

I ignored him as i closed my eyes.
"Jay.. Jay you sleep?" he asked.
I wanted to laugh but i could feel myself drifting off to sleep.
