Kiara sits in her bed, tissues next to her. She was flipping through the scrapbook that her and Benjamin made freshmen year.
Of course, it was still very empty as they stopped making it once they were no longer friends. Kiara takes a picture out, their first day of freshmen year.
She smiles and tears up again. "F--Fuck".
Her little sister walk in, smiling. "Hey? What's wrong, Ki?"
Kiara sees her, wiping her tears. "N--Nothing. You excited for your birthday party?"
"Mhm...So..? Why are you crying?" Her sister Luna jumps up on her bed, seeing the scrapbook.
"Are you and Benny fighting again? You told me you guys were okay?"
"I just..Made a mistake". Kiara wipes her tears, looking down at her tissue.
"What do you mean? What'd you do?"
"I just..Hurt his feelings. Really bad. What I did isn't forgivable".
"What did you say to him? Is he okay? Did you apologize?"
Kiara looks at her, tearing up more. "Just...Forget it...Can you get out my room?" Kiara stands up and turns away from her.
"I just wanna kno-".
"Just get out! Please!..Just please".
Luna shrugs and hops off her bed. She looks at Kiara once before walking out the bedroom door and shutting it loudly.
Kiara shakes her head, sobbing into her hand. She walks back to her bed, grabbing the picture she dropped.
"Dammit Kiara! Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!"

Katen sits at his kitchen table next to his brothers. "Aye Katen, we need to get this meth outta the house. You take it to him tomorrow".
"Yeah. Gimme the address". Katen places a cigarette in-between his lips, lighting it.
One of his brothers, by the name of Jeremy sets three beers on the table. "Make sure to take the gun. If he don't pay he's getting shot".
Katen shakes his head, "I'm not gonna shoot the guy. Maybe scare him though".
The other brother, his name is Johnathan, chuckles and grabs his beer. "Anyways. Any word on the new girl in school?"
"Elly? She's tough. She's from Brooklyn. Apparently used to run the streets".
Jeremy laughs, "Ain't she gay? She a dyke, right?"
Katen laughs, "Mhm. She one of those. Uses the strap and shit".
Johnathan snarls and shakes his head, "Must suck not having the real thing".
Katen takes a sip from his beer. "I don't know how to crack her. I tried talking to her the other day and she completely ignored me".
Jeremy furrows his brows, "So if you get her, you dumping Zoē?"
"Hell no. Two pretty bitches sucking my dick? That's a dumbass move, dumbass".
Johnathan shrugs, "Should you be hitting on a gay girl? She eat pussy".
Katen nods and smiles, "So do I".

Benjamim sits with Gabi, smiling. "I want details".
Gabi smiles and blushes. "He was such a gentlemen. Little things like.. Opening the door for me or pulling my seat out".
Benjamin smiles, "Aw!"
Gabi blushes and looks at her hand. "The whole night was filled with compliments back and forth. He just kept calling me beautiful".
"Well duh! It's cause you are!"
Gabi smiles, "It was everything you'd ever imagine. He's still upset about Hayley though".
"What? Why? No one ever liked that bitch...Like at all".
"Not that they broke up. Just that she kept saying shit that brought him down..".
"Oh..That sucks..But..I know how that feels, trust me, sister".
Gabi nods and smiles, "You think he'll try and go on another date with me?"
"Of course! Are you guys like a thing now?"
"I mean, no. He did kiss me last night though".
"He did what! Why didn't you tell me!" Benjamin grabs a pillow off his bed, chucking it at her.
Gabi starts laughing, throwing the pillow back at him. "I don't know! It was weird...I mean good...But weird".
Benjamin smiles and hums, "Can I ask you something, though?
"Yeah...What's up?"
"Just. You once told me you liked Elly. Just curious...Like what do you identify as?"
Gabi shrugs, "I'm not really sure. I think I like both, to be honest. Just...I'm not sure yet".
Benjamin nods, placing his hand on top of hers, "No rush. Just asking".

Benjamim parks in his driveway, getting out of the car. He walks into his house seeing his mom on the phone. He sets his bag down, going into the fridge.
"Hey, honey. How was Gabi's?"
"Good. She went in a date with Lucas".
"Cool. Hey, would you be okay tonight by yourself?"
Benjamin shrugs, grabbing the pack of raspberries and eating one. "I guess so..Why? You going out tonight?"
Ms.Evans smiles and holds up one finger. "Yeah. We're all set..See you tonight. Bye". Ms.Evans hangs up the phone, smiling.
She walks over to Benjamin, grabbing a raspberry. "I have a date tonight".
"Really? With who?" Benjamim smiles and pops another one into his mouth.
"Some guy I met the other night. He seems really nice. He's also sexy".
"Ew, mom. I'm still your son, remember".
Ms.Evans smiles and nods. "Wanna help me do my makeup?"
"Can I have twenty bucks for food tonight?"
Ms.Evans rolls her eyes and grabs her purse. "You have your own money".
Benjamim smiles, grabbing the twenty dollar bill. "I know. I'd just rather spend yours. How long will you be out for?
"Not sure honey. I will text you before I get home".
"I'll probably be sleep. School".
"That's right. Well, just...Lock up the house..Don't answer the door for anyone unless is your food".
"M'kay, mom".

"Watch you language around your nieces, Elenor! Have some respect!"
"How about you have some respect! Fuck! I'm your damn daughter at the end of the day!"
Ms.Guerra rolls her eyes, setting down Elly's laundry. "I'm going to ask you again. Where did you get these clothes?!"
Elly rolls her eyes, laying back down on her bed. She covers her face with her hands. "Can I talk to papá?"
"So he can encourage this behavior? Absolutely not. Now's not the time. Where did you get these clothes!?"
Elly stands up, putting her shoes on. She slips her phone into her front pocket before grabbing her keys.
"Where do you think you're going? You have school in the morning".
Elly walks past her, "Stop talking to me, maldito".
Ms.Guerra grabs her and shakes her head. "Excuse me? You do not talk to me like that".
"You're pissing me the fuck off. Let go of me".
"Maybe because you can't answer a simple damn question, Elenor!"
Eva, Elly's sister walks out her bedroom, walking over to the two. "Hey. I just put the babies down. What's going on?"
Elly rolls her eyes, crossing her arms. "I'm just tryna go. I wanna go to the store".
"Why, Elly? It's late. You have school".
"I'm just going to get a soda and some backwoods. I need to cool off before I start punching shit".
Eva nods at her and grabs her mom's hand off of Elly. "Mom. Let her go".
Ms.Guerra let's go of her and Elly walks away. She walks out the front door, slamming it shut. Eva turns to her mom and groans, "What now?"
"More of the clothes. After I repeatedly told her! She's blatantly disobeying me!"
"Mom. You guys couldn't talk in the morning? You two need to calm down!"
"She then had the nerve to ask to speak to your father as well! There is something wrong with her! I will not be disrespected in my own home!"
Eva sighs and shakes her head. "I can't. I have rehab in the morning and part of becoming sober is not stressing".
Ms.Guerra nods and turns away. She goes into Elly's room, looking at the laundry basket. She dumps her clothes out in the floor and leave her room.

Elly gets back home at about one thirty in the morning. She walks in, shutting and locking the front door.
She sees her mother at the table, "Its been two hours. Where have you been?"
Elly ignores her, walking to her bedroom. "So now your deaf?"
"None of ya business is where I was. The fuck?" Elly goes into her room, shutting and locking the door. She rolls her eyes at the clothes in her floor.
