Throughout the next month, she tried to avoid Eris like the plague, but every time she ran into him she couldn't avoid the heat that traveled through her body.
"Wassuh Nani?", Eris asks as she watered her plants in the garden
Dallas was gone just like he was every day doing God knows what with her father.
"Hello Eris", Nani smiles
They have talked quite a few times throughout the month, and every time left butterflies fluttering in her stomach. The conversations varied from favorite colors to favorite books to even personal information. She loved having conversations with him and hearing the way his voice deepened when talking about something he was passionate about.
"I love what your doing with your hair. Your mane is your crown and should resemble one", he shrugs gently touching her Afro
She decided to take a break from flat irons despite what her father said. She did not care how unlady like a untamed Afro looked. She loved hers, and since she was no longer living with him she could wear it. That didn't stop Dallas from telling her how much he disliked it though.
"Thank you", she blushed looking down at her dirty pants
"Here let me help you up", He says holding a hand out for her
She takes it and gasps at the heat she felt travel between them.
"Hey you okay? Your shaking...", He says smirking at her blush
"Yeah. It is just kinda chilly", She says stepping back from him
"It's summer baby girl", He says laughing
"Silly me.", She says laughing softly with him
The familiar sound of gravel crunching under a car alerts her of Dallas' car pulling into the little driveway.
"Looks like your husband is home.", Eris smirks bending down to press his lips to her cheek
"I'll see you tomorrow Nani. Oh and don't change your hair. It's absolutely beautiful.", He says mischievously
His eyes told her that he said it loud on purpose so that Dallas could hear his compliment.
She couldn't do anything but gawk at him and the place he had once been.
"Hey honey.", Dallas says kissing her cheek, opposite of the one Eris did.
She was disgusted at the fact that her body reacted so positively to Eris, but reeled at the thought of Dallas kissing her again. He was her husband for God's sake.
"Nice of you to grace me with your presence", She says walking past him back into the house
"Uhm yeah", he says pulling her to him
"What are you doing?", She asks trying to discreetly push away from him
"Your dad and I feel that it's time to Christian this marriage and maybe begin our family.", he says placing his lips on her forehead
"W-w-What?? I-I-I'm not R-ready", She says stuttering stupidly
It's not that she wasn't ready. It was that she did not even feel an ounce of arousal at his presence.
"I mean. I guess we can wait a while.", Dallas says backing away from her with an unsure look
She visibly relaxes and looks at him wide eyed.
"Excuse me for my behavior.", He says patting her back awkwardly before walking away
"God please help me", She huffs setting out to the kitchen to make dinner

"Hey Nani. I invited Eris to dinner", Dallas says coming into the kitchen an hour later
"Oh did you?", She says trying not to sound affected
"Yeah. He will be over in five. Welcome him in will you?", He says going back upstairs
Not even three minutes later, Eris walked into the kitchen with her and just watched her intently.
"May I help you Eris?", She asks glancing over to him
He shrugs and bites his lip before walking up to her.
His scent surrounded her, and wrapped her in a cocoon of warmth and sexual frustration.
"You intrigue me", he says taking the spoon from her hand to stir the chili himself
It was missing something, and she didn't want him to taste it until she figured it out.
"May I?", He asks gently nudging her away from the pot
She simply moved to the side, and let the big brute lift the spoon to his mouth.
He tilts his head, and smiles before grabbing the Crystal hot sauce and adding a good amount followed by some Tony Chachere seasoning
"Try it now", he says putting it to her lips
"Mhm, It's delicious", she says smiling
"Well I can't take all the credit", he laughs while trailing his finger under her chin to connect their eyes
Her breath hitches and her panties damped at the lustful look in his eyes.
"You did all the work.", he says smiling and moving away from her to the table
He will definitely be the death of her.
"Honey. It smells absolute delicious in here", Dallas says invading her space
"Thank you.", She says smiling and moving away from him to serve their bowls
She takes one to Eris before handing her husband the second serving before realizing her mistake.
"I'm sorry Dallas. I didn't even notice", She says face palming at the fact that she didn't serve her husband first.
Her dad taught her to always put her husband first, and wait on him hand in foot as a wife should, and she was already messing everything up.
"It's okay", he says rubbing her shoulders
She looks over to Eris whose eyes were already trained on her. He bites his lip to hide his smirk that was making its way onto his face.
"You guys are cute. How did you meet?", He asks never taking his eyes from Nani
"Uhm. We met...", Nani starts only to be interrupted
"We met at church. Her father is a preacher and she was singing when I noticed she was the most beautiful women in the church house", He says making Nani blush
Eris eyes flash darkly, before he laughs.
"Yeah, She is beautiful.", he agrees before digging into his chili
Dallas brings his bowl and hers to the table before taking a seat at the end of the table, leaving her a seat between him and Eris.
'God this would be the time to help me', She thinks desperately
They eat dinner in peace for a while before a hand grasps her thigh.
She gasps and her leg shakes nervously before looking up at Eris.
His dark eyes stared back at her unwaveringly before his hand moved higher up her thigh almost touching her core.
Nani's breath increases slightly and her lip goes between her teeth to muffle the sound that wanted to escape. His rough grasp was doing things to her body that she never experienced before, and she hated to say she loved it.
"So honey how was your day?", Dallas asks snapping her out of her lust filled state
She slyly glances at Eris watching his smirk before looking back over to Dallas.
"It was fine...", she answers shrugging
"Are you sure?", he asks slurping his chili
"Yes? Why do you ask?", She asks confused at his accusation
"You seemed a little flush when I met you at the garden today? Are you well?", he asks touching her forehead
Eris snorts out a laugh at Dallas' words before rubbing her thigh again
"I am well Dallas.", She says smiling at him before discreetly pushing Eris' hand away from her thigh
He glares at the side of her head and she doesn't acknowledge his stare before standing up.
"I will get the dishes if everyone is finished...", She says collecting the dirty dishes
"I can help you with them if you want?", Eris says looking up at her. Tempting her
"No thank you. That is okay. You two may stay in here and socialize while I clean the kitchen", She says remembering her job as a wife
"Very well", he says turning to Dallas
Nani walks to the kitchen like her ass is on fire and let's out a frustrated breath.
"Do you ever listen to me God?! I asked for help!", Nani says huffing
