leans on the locker, staring up and down the hall
approaches with confused brows, "rory?" opens lock combination
"dawson," stutters, "hi," smiles
"hey?" sets his books inside, watching her with a worried look
"uhm," tucks a hair behind her ear, "how's ryker?"
sighs "he's good, last day in the hospital," closes locker "he should be back tomorrow"
"great!" chirps
nods and begins walking to class
"you know i never thanked you," rushes and walks beside him
"for?" quirks a brow
"calling me, the voicemails," gulps "and driving me to see ryker... the day it happened and when i didn't want to go to class,"
nods "of course," stops in front of the classroom door, "all for ryker,"
"right," smiles slightly, "it was really sweet of you,"
"sweet," mumbles
"how are you coping?" shuffles her feet
"why are you talking to me?"
widens eyes "what?"
"you never talk to me," leans against the door frame, "and all of a sudden..."
"oh," looks down at her shoes and shrugs, "i just wanted to say thanks,"
"well you're welcome," smiles
returns the smile and just stares
leans on his heels, "well i don't want to be late," looks to the class "and i'm sure you don't either"
