Trevor's pov
What is he doing here? Trevor thought to himself getting more than a little upset when realizing that Trinity had left out the fact that she was living with her protective childhood friend who she was already closer to then he would like.
Stepping away from the couch quietly he decided he would just figure out which room was hers by looking into both rooms and guessing. Walking into the hallway he saw three doors. One was a bathroom so the other two must be bed rooms. Though I wouldn't doubt they'd share a bed. Trevor thought bitterly remembering how Trinity seem totally comfortable when Chris had come out of no where and put his arm around her shoulders when they had first met.
Sighing at himself he opened one of the doors and figured he had guessed right by the assortment of black and grey clothes hanging in the closet. He'd seen how often his girlfriend seemed to wear those colors. From what he had observed about Chris from when the older boy would come to pick Trinity up from work was that he liked clothes with summer tones like red, orange, yellow, and maroon.
Setting her on the bed Trevor looked around for a pen and paper to leave her a not telling her how much of a great time he'd had.
Grabbing a pen and a piece of paper from her desk he wrote a cute little message not even noticing the note on the other side of the page.
After he was done he walked back out of the room leaving the door ajar so that he could come back in with the toys without having to open the door again. As he made his way back through the apartment a floor board creaked causing him to flinch and freeze.
Chris's pov
Slowly Chris woke up having heard the creaky floor board and looked around. As he was looking around he say a figure standing in the shadows. Thinking it was Trinity at first he started to stand. Stopping when he realized this person was taller then Trinity.
"Who's there?" He asked voice low and menacing.
"It's just me Trevor" the figure replied.
"Why are you here?" Chris asked annoyed that the boy was in his home.
"Well Trinity fell asleep in the car so I carried her up here. I was just going down to get the stuffies I won for her so I'll be right back." Trevor said turning and leaving.
"She always seems to fall asleep in the car after dates." Chris said smiling to himself as Trevor walked away assuming he couldn't hear.
Trevor's pov
He had heard what Chris had said as he walked out the door and he was pissed. She was living with this boy who obviously has feelings for her and has even taken her out on dates before but she still didn't feel the need to tell him about it?! What the hell woman?
Trevor wasn't gonna let this fat older boy take his girl from him no matter what. She was his and his only and no one would stand in the way of that. Plus he cared about her to much to let her get heart broken by her bestfriend. Either of them for that matter. She deserved better and he would make sure she got it. One way or another.
When he got down to his car he decided to grab the giant Eevee first. He then slung the two bags over his shoulder making sure as many of the toys were showing as possible. He quickly made his way back up to the apartment and walked in.
As he walked past the living room he heard Chris mutter something along the lines of "psh overkill much?" This cause him to smirk widely as he set the bags down in Trinity's room.
When he walked back out of her room he was surprised when Chris called him over.
"Hey. Come here. Sit down. Let's have a little talk." He said gesturing towards the couch.
"What?" Trevor said moving to stand by the couch opting to not sit yet.
"Sit down." The older boy repeated a bit if a growl entering his voice.
Doing as he was told he again asked "What do you want?"
"Do you realize how much I care for that girl in there?" He asked pointing in the general direction of the bedrooms.
"I think I realize it better then she does." Trevor replied snrakily.
Narrowing his eyes Chris continued. "Then you should know that if you so much as upset her I'll have to kick your ass right?" He said through gritted teeth.
"The only one in this room who's stupid enough to hurt her is you buddy. You know how much she talked about how sad she was before you moved her for her?" Trevor said bitterly. "Why did you even move back here? Is it so that you can play little white knight in shining armor? Or are you here to confuse her on what your feelings for her are? Cause she doesn't talk about that part but I know she's not entirely sure as to what your see her as."
"I see her as a sister and she knows this." Chris growled out.
"Yeah but only because it's illegal to see her as what you really want to for another four years." Trevor said smirking.
"Its three" Chris mumbled.
"What?"
"It's only three more years." He said more loudly. "Didn't you know how to count?"
"Oh whatever man. You know what I'm saying though. It's not right for you to have feelings like this that she doesn't know about and still have her living here. Its not okay! And is it even legal for her to be living here? Since she's a minor and you aren't her legal guardian?" Trevor snapped out.
"I'm not her guardian but since the Dotsons kicked her out the Cartwrites went and got full custody over Trinity. They then gave her permission to live with me. Therefore yes it is legal for her to live here." Chris said a smirk of his own growing as Trevor's shrunk. "And don't you dare try telling my what's wrong or "not okay" with my relationship with Trinity. If you can't even figure yourself out don't go trying to figure me out." He spat.
"What do you mean figure myself out?" Trevor asked frustrated and genuinely confused.
"I see the way your always flip floping. First your all sweet then your rude and controlling. I'm sure if it keeps up your gonna give Trinity emotional whiplash and she's already got enough on her plate. She doesn't need you towing her around if you don't really care about her. If you don't plan on sticking around for a while might as well leave before she gets to attached. Cause if you do leave her after she's fallen for you anymore then she already has, I will find you and I will either kill you slowly or just beat you within an inch of your life to make sure you remember that next time maybe you shouldn't fuck around." Chris said succeeding in intimidating the younger boy.
"You know what? I don't have to put up with this shit. I care about Trinity and she's knows it. And guess what? That's all I really care about is Trinity knowing I'm sincere. I don't need your approval. I don't need your blessing. I just need Trinity." He said getting up and walking out the door carful not to slam it behind him in attempts to not wake Trinity.
No one's pov
What neither boy knew was that when Trevor had come in with the stuffies he shut the door a bit louder than necessary causing Trinity to wake up. Then when he put the toys in her room he had left the door open. This made it to where Trinity was able to here the boys entire conversation from the comfort of her bed. She now had a lot to think about and probably would not be getting back to sleep anytime soon. So instead after and hour she did what any girl would do. She texted her bestfriend. After texting Sarah everything she had heard she added,

We'll talk about this at school in the morning since I know your probably not up at 2 am.
And just so that you don't say anything about that in the morning I already know I shouldn't be up at this time either but I can't help it.
Before setting down her phone and staring at the ceiling for the rest of the night.
