I woke up to the smell of burnt toast. I yawned and looked over to my clock and it was time for me to get up. I stretched and got lazily out of bed. I put on my slippers and walked into my bathroom. I turned on my straightener and went back out to my cupboard to pick out what to wear for today. I ended up picking a bright green top with a peace sign on the front, and a pair of black skinny jeans to finish it off. I also picked out black boots. I quickly changed into my clothes and went back to the bathroom. Still feeling tired I splashed some water on my face to wake me up. I instantly felt better.
I began straightening my hair and as I got to the last few strands, I burnt my finger. I gave a little scream and dropped the straightener. I was so glad that I was wearing shoes, otherwise I would have burnt my foot. I ran some cold water on my finger and waited a little. I then used my other hand to straighten the rest of my hair. I finished in about 10 minutes.
When I finished I ran downstairs to get some breakfast. I decided on Milo Cereal. Even though it wasn't nutritious I decided to treat myself. I had 30 minutes until I had to go outside to catch the bus. So when I was done, I put on the kettle for my moms daily coffee. I then quickly ran up the stairs to the bathroom, so that I could brush my teeth. I went into my room and I tripped on some clothes and fell face first onto my carpet. I stood up with my nose feeling like it was stomped on. About 2 seconds after I stood up, my nose started bleeding. I sprinted to my bathroom. I grabbed some toilet paper and put it inside my nostril to stop the bleeding. I washed my hands, and went back down to the kitchen to make mums coffee. I hear giggling behind me when I turn around, Rhiannon snaps a picture of me. She laughed her head off as she sprinted upstairs to her room. I knew that today was not going to be a good day. I finished mixing my moms coffee and put it on the table. I walked carefully upstairs. I walked into my bathroom once a gain, this time to put on my make up. I put on a medium layer of foundation, some mascara and my baby lips lip balm.
When I was done, I brushed my teeth and grabbed a piece of gum from my drawer. I found out that they were having basketball try outs for the girls and so I decided to try out today after school. I grabbed my sports girl bag with my basketball stuff in it. I really hope that this basketball team would be better than at my old school. I'll find out tonight I guess. I went down stairs and checked the clock. 10 minutes until I had to get onto the bus. I quickly went on my phone to check my social media. First I checked Instagram. Nothing new. Just selfies of all the populars, you know, parties, dancing concerts, sports games etc. I then went onto Snapchat. A few new stories. I checked a few and then one caught my eye. My Sister posted the picture of me with the nose bleed. AHHHH! "Rhiannon!!!!!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. She came downstairs with the cheesiest grin on her face. "Yes?" She asked pouting. I hated it when she did this. "How do you explain this?" I asked getting angry.
"Oh. That's a photo of you when you had your blood nose." She says playing dumb.
"I know. I'm not dumb." I said. She mumbled something to herself as I checked how many people had seen this embarrassing photo of me. 30 people had already seen it! "Thankyou for ruining my life Rhiannon." I said as went up to mom's room to say good bye.
"You're welcome Katie." I swear if I had a brick there'd be one thing I would do with it.
As I kissed my mom on the head I realised that we hadn't really been spending much time together lately.
"Hey mom. Do you think we could go shopping this weekend?" I asked smiling. I hadn't been shopping in a while. Possibly months.
"Yeah sure. That sounds like a lot of fun actually. We need a day out don't we. Maybe we can drop Rhiannon off at lacy's house so it can be just the two of us." She looked at me smiling. "I couldn't agree more!" I said excitedly. I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
I heard the bus pull up and that's when I realized that I still had to catch the bus. "Bye mom," I said before I zoomed out of her bedroom, galloped down the stairs, thankfully still in one piece, and I sprinted out the front door. I just made it on to the bus in time and sat two seats behind Keely. Then I noticed something that almost ruined my day completely. Keely Malone had a basketball sports girl bag. Just. Like. Mine.

As the bell rang for lunch time, I packed up my books and was about to head out the door when Matt bumped into me.
"I couldn't help but notice that you were staring at me during class," he grinned so wide that if I were to punch him in the mouth, I had it guaranteed that I wouldn't miss. "Are you out of your mind. Get a life." Now this would have been great if I said it out loud, but instead it just stayed in my head and this is all that came out, "Um-N-what? I-I no." I felt my face getting hot and I just walked out of the class. That was the last thing I need. Matt thinking that every girl was In love with him and that he had the power to make a girl blush. Because he did not.

Matt's POV
I hate this new school that I'm at. There's only 2 things that are keeping me here. My friends and Katie. I met her on the first day while she was staring at me and the boys. "Dude, she is so into you," Nash whispers to me. He then dared me to say how I saw she was staring at me and how irresistible I was. And so I did. Bad idea, I could instantly tell that she didn't like me. And did that stop the GREAT Matt Espinosa? No. No it did not. I kept up my dazzling smile and charmed her with my manliness. That was until she walked away to her friends. I was going to have to try a lot harder than that if I was going to get this girl....
