Paul got home and flicked on the light, almost jumping out of his skin when he realized Tavin was seated on the couch, sipping tea and looking perfectly calm. Tavin looked over at his friend and cocked his head to one side,
"You gonna tell me about your date?"
"It wasn't a date" Paul grumbled, taking his shoes off and going over to the couch, sitting beside his friend and crossing his arms, Tavin laid his head back and looked at Paul,
"So, what was he like?"
"Shockingly nice" Paul said, "He bought me dinner and a brownie"
"Awww he sounds sweet" Tavin said then he sat bolt upright, "wait does this mean you took his offer?!"
Paul winced, "Okay okay yea I took it, he only wants company and not the sex kind, more like the friendship kind".
Tavin stared at him and then started to giggle, "Oh my god my best friend has a sugar daddy"
"Yea yea yea" Paul grumbled, crossing his arms, "And it's staying as just that, I'm not gay"
"Whatever you say Paul" Tavin said and got up, walking off to the kitchen and Paul's phone buzzed, he looked at it and his lip twitched when Chris's name showed up,
"I enjoyed your company Paul, thank you for coming out with me"
"I suggested it, no need to thank me"
"I liked your company too"
His face turning red, Paul tucked his phone back in his pocket and went to his room. Changing into pajamas and crawling into bed, staring at the brick wall and thinking of Chris.
Shaking away those thoughts, Paul quickly started to think about something else and he closed his eyes and fell asleep quickly.
