Beyoncé's POV
I laid behind my pregnant girlfriend as she slept and i rubbed her stomach that held our unborn child. Im so excited, yeah I may already have kids, but this will be my first one that I've been present with for the whole pregnancy and I feel so happy I got the chance to watch Nicki grow. Today is our anniversary, I can't believe it's been a year already times flew by so quickly. But I know we will have many more together, so I'm not stressing, just cherishing everyday.
I caught myself, and just laid there thinking how much I've changed mentally and emotionally. I was so hard headed a year ago, that is until I laid eyes on this gorgeous woman. She's really changed me for the better, I'm so glad for that.
Suddenly I felt a kick from her stomach. I couldn't help but smile bright knowing my baby is already communicating with me. Nicki shifted and turned to face me but was still asleep. I shifted down the bed and laid facing her stomach and kissed it before I started talking.
B: I can't wait till you're here my love.
I said with a small smile as I rubbed Nicki's stomach which woke her up. She looked down to see me and we both smiled when we matched each other's gaze. She ran her fingers through my blonde locks, which always made me smile. I shifted back up so we were face to face and I gave her a good morning kiss.
B: Happy anniversary my love
N: Happy anniversary darling. I love you
B: I love you more
I said before going in for one more kiss. God I love this woman. Who would've thought I'd find what I need all in one person... one small ass person. Jokes aside though, I don't know where I'd be without her.
N: What are you thinking about?
She asked pulling me out of my thoughts making me realise I must've been out for some time.
B: Just how grateful I am for you
A smile appears on her face making me smile as well, she ran her hand through my curly hair once more knowing its my favourite thing for her to do.
N: I'm grateful for you too baby
She said placing her forehead on mine making us close our eyes. Words can't decribe how blessed I feel right now. I finally have something that's going right in my life.
B: what do you want for breakfast?
N: mmm i don't know... surprise me
she said with a childish grin making me giggle and kiss her lips. her smiles are so contagious.
b: your wish is my command princess, i'll be right back
i said before kissing her forehead and getting up. since we wanted this morning to ourselves we didn't wake the girls too early this time.
some time later when i came back with breakfast, she gasped at the sight of the huge piles of food.
n: you're trying to make me fat
i laughed as i placed the tray on her lap and kissed her nose.
b: i'm not trying to get you fat. this is for you and baby so eat up. we're going somewhere later
i said as i got back in bed next to her.
n: where?
she asked with a smile. this happens every time
b: i'm not telling you
n: whyyyyy
she whined
b: you sound just like nicole with your whining ass. you'll know when we get there. for now eat you food princess
i laughed while she just gave me a mean look. she even crossed her arms to further prove my point she's a big ass baby when shit doesn't go her way. i made her like that though and i don't really regret it, my baby is meant to be spoiled.

n: now can you tell me baby
she said with an eager smile as she swallowed the last bite of her breakfast.
b: sorry princess but no it's a surprise.
Nicki whined like a baby and it made me crack up.
b: stop being a big baby
m: no!
she shouted a little before turning over to the other side. this girl really likes to act but i saw the smile on the corner of her lips. i giggled laying right behind her with my arms around her
b: you can't be mad at me
i sung in her ear to make her even more annoyed. i love annoying her. she hit my arm and nudged me
b: aye did you just hit me? you just hit me dawg?! huh?!
i said getting hyped before i lifted up so i was above her and i laid her on her back. she whined again like the lil baby she is.
b: you lucky you my wife ya heard me
i said making Nicki blush and look away immediately. i couldn't help but smile.
b: why you smiling?
i asked while smiling as well. i have an idea why she smiled all of a sudden but i wanna hear it from her.
she shook her head with her arms folded
b: nah tell me princess. what got you smiling? what got you all happy?
i said getting close to her face making her smile even more. when she finally looked at me she closed her eyes but the smile grew.
n: i like it when you call me your wife
she admittedly meekly. it was what i thought but i love it when she tells me what makes her happy.
b: that's what you are baby girl. my wife who is a spoiled big ass baby
she playfully hit my shoulder making me start to tickle her.
n: baby stooop
she laughed.
b: uh uh you feeling tough all of a sudden back it up now
n: you wish i would back it up
we cracked up as i laid on her chest.
b: you just been getting extra attitude lately. why you so snappy?
i said playing with her mouth.
n: because i want foooooood
she sang making me giggle.
b: i just gave you food
n: well tell me where we're goiiiing
she sang again making me roll my eyes.
b: noooooooo
n: you're mean. the girls need to wake up now
b: they're on summer break
n: still i don't want them getting lazy like you
b: like me?!
i said getting on top of her again making her laugh
b: you think i'm lazy?
i pouted making her do the same as she pinched my cheek. always playing with my face.
n: no baby i was joking
b: okay
i said cutely as i laid back down in her chest. i felt my baby kick again making me move off of Nicki.
b: does it hurt?
i said rubbing her stomach
n: at first it did but i'm used to it now. it's not so bad.
b: good. i don't want my baby in pain... i really want it to be a boy
i heard her giggle as she snuggled into me.
n: the one child you wouldn't have to have the period talk with
b: oh no he still gonna know about periods. i ain't having no dumb son.
i said seriously making Nicki laugh. i was serious though. i want my son raised right and that includes knowing what females go through externally and internally.
b: i just really wanna little prince to dress up and cuddle. but i won't be sad if it's another princess either. she'll have your beautiful face so i'll be perfectly fine
i said gazing up at nicki making her blush at my compliment.
n: baaaaabe... you're cute too
i laughed at her shy tone before kissing her cheek.
b: thank you princess. now i think we should get ready to go
n: are the kids coming with us?
b: nope they're going to kelly's
n: okay but wait
she said pulling me back from getting up from the bed
b: what?
n:... where are we goiiiiing?
she whined making me roll my eyes.
b: out that's where now get ready big baby
n: meanie
she said getting up and going in the bathroom. i hope she loves what i got her....

after we dropped the kids off at kelly's we drove to our destination and we were just coming up to it. so i parked.
n:... a dock?
b: mhm
i said before getting out my side and going round to open her door while helping her out. i held her hand and guided her to the end of the docking pier where a yacht was waiting for us.
n: we're going on a boat?!
she asked excitedly making me smile
b: yeah you said you wanted to go on a yacht so here we are.
n: aww thank you baby i love you
she said pulling me closer. we kissed making us both smile bigger than we already were.
b: no problem princess i love you more. come on
i said guiding her to the edge of the pier where a staff member was to help us get on. i helped nicki on first and then got on after her. we got shown around the yacht and was escorted to the front of the boat where i had prepared our lunch for us.
n: oh my god this is so cute!!!
the look of excitement in her face made me feel so happy.
we sat down and they brought our plates out and we started eating.
n: i can't believe i'm on a boat.
b: well believe it princess
n: it's so prettyyyyyy
i laughed, she's so adorable. i'm glad i can make her happy.
after we had our lunch we went to the back of the boat were a built in hammock was and we laid down on it.
b: so you like the boat so far?
n: i love it. it's so relaxing
b: good. i love you
i said as i put my arm around her as we snuggled into each other
n: i love you too
we had a few minutes of silence just listening to the ocean, it was really calming. so much so that after a few minutes i opened my eyes to see Nicki had gone to sleep. i giggled internally and just cuddled into her.

some time later when i was asleep i felt lips gently kiss me all over my face making me wake up to see Nicki. we smiled and i kissed her lips.
b: you had a good nap?
n: mhm. you're so cute when you sleeping
b: only when i'm sleeping?
i asked in a sleepy tone and a little smile.
n: nooooooo
i chuckled and just pulled her closer and closed my eyes again.
n:.... baby?
b: mmm?
n: i got something for you
i opened my eyes as much as i could and looked at Nicki as she sat up right
b: what is it?
she pulled out a box so i sat up and she handed me it.
b: babe i told you-
n: i know but i wanted to... open it
i did and it was a gold bracelet that had an infinity sign on it.
n: i want you to always be in my life. and to know that no matter what happens in the future i'll always love you
my eyes watered as she told me her meaning behind the bracelet. a tear ran down my cheek and i instantly felt her hand wipe it away.
n: don't cry baby
i sniffled a little before looking up at her with a smile.
b: i love it. thank you so much baby
i said as i brought her in for a kiss.
b: it's beautiful.
i said as she put it on my wrist for me.
b: i'll wear it always
n: good
she said with a smile as we pulled away a little.
n: i love you so much
she said while stroking my cheek. i smiles and kissed her nose and forehead before bringing her into a hug.
b: i love you more my queen.
we stayed like that for a long time until my phone rang unexpectedly. i checked to see it was kelly calling so i answered it.
b: hey everything good?
k: the twins are fighti- nicole don't scratch your sister!
all i could hear was crying and screaming in the background. i know these kids aren't acting a damn fool right now.
b: kelly give the phone to nicole please
k: your mama wanna talk to you nicole
a waited a few seconds until it went quiet.
b: nicole?
nicole: ... hi mommy
b: don't 'hi mommy' me. why did you just scratch your sister?
nicole: she hit me mommy
niya: you hit me first!
i heard niya shout in the background. i sighed and shook my head.
b: put me on speaker so your sister can hear me too
she waited a second and then i started to speak again.
b: you both better stop fighting unless you both want to be grounded when you get home. stop giving your auntie trouble and be nice to each other. do you understand me?
i said firmly.
twins: yes mommy
they said sadly.
b: i want you both to apologise to your auntie right now and i'll see you both later. bye
twins: bye mommy
i ended the call and sighed while closing my eyes to hear Nicki giggle making me open them again.
b: what's so funny?
n: you in mommy mode it's cute
i rolled my eyes playfully with a small smile.
b: they never used to fight each other. never used to even get on each other's nerves.
n: i know. but they're growing up
b: don't remind me
i said playfully putting my head in my hand. Nicki laughed while she laid me down so my head was in her lap. she rubbed my shoulders and kissed my forehead.
n: everything is fine relax
b: mmm i will if your boobs stay in my face
i said with a small smile making her laugh again.
n: i hate my boobs now
b: baaaabe what did we talk about?
i asked rhetorically trying to remind her of the time we talked about her insecurities and how her body was perfect the way it was no matter how much it changed.
n: i know but still
she said followed my a pout.
b: you don't need to change anything. i wouldn't
n: i bet you wouldn't coz you want my boobs in your face right now
she said making us laugh
b: well they're just so soft i can't help it.
i said giving her an innocent smile. she rolled her eyes and pecked my lips before holding my hands and looking out on the beautiful view. the sun was setting as we were heading back to the pier.
n: today was so nice. i like it when we can getaway every once in a while
b: me too. we should make this a once a month thing. but now we gotta go home and see about them kids
i groaned making her laugh

we knocked on kelly's door and she opened it letting us come in.
b: hey
k: hey how was it?
n: beautiful. thank you for minding the kids
k: no problem
b:where are they?
k: on time out
b: what'd they do now?
k: started getting an attitude with me
i sighed and shook my head. i went in the kitchen to see nicole facing one corner and niya facing another.
b: you two come here
i said firmly enough to let them know i mean business. i made a rule with myself growing up that if i ever became a parent my children wouldn't get whoopings. i understand people have their reasons but as a person who dealt with child abuse growing up i wouldn't be able to live with myself if i laid a finger on my children. i don't think i'd ever be able to set a difference between whoopings and beatings. plus with me being like their step-mom i think if anyone had ultimate authority to whoop them it would be Nicki.
the twins walked to me looking down. i crouched down but they looked away.
b: look at me
they both slowly turned their heads towards me and i looked at them both before speaking.
b: i want you girls to apologise to your auntie for giving her attitude right now
they went up to kelly playing with their hands in the process as an excuse to look down.
twins: we're sorry auntie keke
b: look at her when you're speaking to her
they looked up at her and apologised again.
kelly: apology accepted
she said kissing them on their foreheads.
b: where's heaven?
k: she slept through it all
she said making us laugh as she guided us to the living room where she laid asleep.
b: aww my baby
i giggled. i gently picked her up and laid her in my chest letting her adjust and snuggle into me.
b: okay well we better get going. thank you so much and i'm sorry that they were trouble
i said going over to hug kelly to thank her.
k: it's fine don't worry about it. see y'all later
n: bye kell bells
she said hugging her making kelly hug her back
k: bye nic nac
we all got in the car and drove home. heaven woke up during the drive home and started whining but we were almost home anyways. when i parked i got out and opened the door for the girls to get out while Nicki carried heaven inside.
n: is my wittle baby tired?
heaven nodded as she wiped her eyes making Nicki kiss her head gently as heaven fell back to sleep in her arms. it was so cute watching them. i knew Nicki accepted heaven as apart of our family but just seeing them together made me so happy.
b: girls go to your room
twins: but mommy-
i cut them off with a stern look with an brow raise.
b: don't question me just do it please
they turned around and walked upstairs. i knew they thought they were off the hook but they needed to learn their actions had consequences.
n: i'm gonna get heaven ready for bed
b: alright
i said before i kissed her and my daughter. they headed upstairs and once i was all alone i took a deep breath. happy anniversary to me...
