y/n: (looks up) "You're taller than I thought."
hueningkai: "You guys are both as lovesick as I thought you would be."
yeonjun: "Kai, come to the living room and leave them alone."
hueningkai: "You never let me have any fun!"
y/n: (laughs) "He's the youngest, right?"
soobin: "Does it show?"
y/n: (laughs harder) "A little, but that's okay. He set this whole thing up." (pauses stirring) "How did he set this whole thing up?"
soobin: (sighs) "It's a very long story that involves convincing our managers and finding flights. A lot of flights."
y/n: "Okay, okay, I won't make you tell the whole thing." (smiles) "I'm just... I mean, you're standing right there. Right here, next to me. I feel like I'm in a dream but then--"
soobin: "But then I do this."
y/n: "U-um..." (clears throat) "Exactly."
hueningkai: "THEY'RE HOLDING HANDS!"
yeonjun: "Kai! I said come here!"
best friend: "Wait, are they really? I wanna see."
soobin: (laughs nervously) "This is okay, right?"
y/n: "That you're holding my hand? Yes. It is very much okay. Very. Oh god. Sorry. I sound... sorry."
soobin: "Can you cook with one hand?"
y/n: "Let's see."
soobin: "I wish the other two were here to meet you. Beomgyu and Taehyun."
y/n: "Are those the other two members?"
soobin: "Mhm. They're really missing out on your cooking skills."
y/n: "Speaking of: can you taste some of this sauce and tell me if it's okay?"
soobin: "Okay."
hueningkai: "They literally look like a married couple."
yeonjun: "We need to give them alone time. I just don't know where we would go."
best friend: "We could kill time at the grocery store. I could say we're gonna get garlic bread as a side to the spaghetti."
yeonjun: "That works."
best friend: "Hey y/n!"
y/n: "Yeah?"
best friend: "We'll be right back, okay? We're going to get garlic bread really quick."
yeonjun: "Hey, before we go, can you help me with something really quick, Soobin?"
soobin: "Sure."
y/n: (laughs) "You can give me back my hand, Soobin."
soobin: "Oh, right." ( lets go, then walks over) "What do you need help with?"
yeonjun: "Nothing." (lowers voice) "You know why we're leaving, right?"
soobin: "To get garlic bread...?"
yeonjun: "No. I mean, yes, but no." (sighs) "We're leaving to give you two alone time. Do you know what that means?"
soobin: "Um..."
yeonjun: "Soobin, it means: make a move."
soobin: (flustered) "W-wait, a move? Like--"
yeonjun: "Like, I don't know, something physical. You realize you only have today and tomorrow with her, right? Then we have to leave."
soobin: "I know."
yeonjun: "And then who knows when the next time you're going to see her will be."
soobin: "I know..."
yeonjun: "Do good."
soobin: (groans) "What does that even mean?"
best friend: "Alright guys, let's get going." (smirks) "Have fun, Soobin."
soobin: "I-I..."
hueningkai: (whispers) "Don't do too much."
soobin: "Too much what?"
(door shuts)
y/n: "Soobin, can you help me over here really quick?"
soobin: "U-um, yeah, coming!"
y/n: "Can you get that bowl in the cupboard above me?"
soobin: "This one?"
y/n: "Mhm."
soobin: (opens cupboard) "Here you go."
y/n: "Thank you." (turns off stove) "Can you..." (freezes) "Um."
soobin: "Sorry, am I standing too close?"
y/n: "N-no. It's fine."
(silence)
soobin: "Hey."
y/n: "Mhm?"
soobin: "Your eyes."
y/n: (blinks)
soobin: "This is the first time I'm seeing your eyes up close."
y/n: "Me, too."
soobin: (whispers) "y/n."
y/n: (whispers) "Yes?"
soobin: "I haven't done this properly before, but... I mean, can I..."
y/n: "Can you...?"
soobin: "...kiss you?"
y/n: "Oh. I mean, yes. Yes. You can."
soobin: "Okay."
(waits)
y/n: "Right now, right?"
soobin: "Mhm."
y/n: "You want to?"
soobin: "I've wanted to."
y/n: (clears throat and steps closer) "Then don't waste any more time."
soobin: (steps closer) "I won't."
(ten minutes later...)
best friend: "We're ba..."
yeonjun: "Why did you stop walking?"
best friend: "We're going back to the grocery store."
hueningkai: "What? Why?"
best friend: "They need more time."
yeonjun: "How do you know that?"
best friend: "Because they're not in the kitchen anymore and [y/n's] bedroom door is shut."
yeonjun: "Back to the grocery store. Got it."
