As we began grade 12th couple months I never realize how far I get through this. Over several months I spent so much time with my friends and especially Hiccup. He warms my heart every time I think of him, I know it's silly but I'm starting to feel.
It was evening time as I walked around the mall as I plan to gather Christmas presents for the others, but it was kind of crowded to be honest. One of these days it's going to be empty because of a virus outbreak but who knows what's in the future.
I then suddenly stopped and saw the display, got me thinking about the twins because they are relentless sometimes, I went inside the store and bought it immediately, easy.
"Hey Astrid!"
I stopped and look around of who called me out, it was Heather and Cami.
"Oh hey girls"I waved, as I tucked in the gift bag.
"Ooh I see Christmas presents"Cami smirk, looking down at my bags.
"By the way they aren't yours"I said.
"Ooohh"
"I assume you both are shopping?"I point out, seeing their hands gripping on the bags.
"You guessed it. Better to do it early"Cami said, excitingly.
We all then sat down on the bench for a break.
"Man, Christmas is the busiest time of the year!"I look around the mall to see people shopping away like crazy. But it's always like that over last minute shopping.
"Not to mentioned we're shopping last minute so yeah, what fun that is!"Cami laughs"and our banks of course".
I laugh along and someone caught my attention as I saw Andrea struggling carrying her bags.
"Andrea!!"I called out, waving my hands out to get her attention. Then the girls did the same.
She stopped and saw us waving at her, she smile and approach us"hey girls! Nice to see you all!".
"You didn't tell us you'd be coming here!"I hugged her.
"Well hey it's Christmas! Wouldn't miss it in the world, I see you girls are tired out"She looks over at Cami and Heather.
"Oh shush! We're resting!"Heather spat, leaning back.
"Uh huh"Andrea chuckles.
"Oh! Have you seen Hiccup?"I asked her.
"Oh no! Not yet, we got in this morning and we're just running around. But we'll be visiting there soon!"She said"you losing him?".
"Uhhh yeah"I stammer, blushing slightly.
"Don't worry Astrid, I'm sure he really wants to spend time with you"She assured me"besides it's Christmas, he's probably running around too!".
I smile"I hope so".
"You two are just so cute!! No wonder why there's a ship name for you both!"Andrea sighs happily as I look at her oddly.
"Huh?"I said, in a confused tone.
•Hiccup's P.O.V•
Running around town to find a special gift for Astrid and it is tiring to find the special gift that suits her. I know a place that I'm familiar with.
I walked in the shop and saw Johann helping out a customer.
"Oh hey Young Hiccup! Great to see you!!"Johann then gave the change back to the customer and walk over to me shaking my hands"Merry Christmas!!".
"Thanks! Merry Christmas to you too!"I chuckle and look around.
"So what can I do for you my boy"Johann asks, as I walk around the shop.
"I'm looking for something special, a gift. A gift for someone special"I described.
"Ah! A gift for someone special alright! Let me see. What this special-"
"She"I cut off.
"Oohhh! A special girl. Okay! Let's see what she likes?".
"Well I was wondering if you can do something custom made"I suggest.
His face went bright"this must be special then. Tell me what I can do?".
I then whisper to him and he acknowledged what I said.
"Well Young Hiccup, I'll see what I can do!"

•Astrid's P.O.V•
It was Christmas Eve and apparently it was night time. All day I haven't seen Hiccup at all. And it worries me that he's busy, but our friends told me not to worry about it. But I feel lonely without him, this feeling is getting to me that I actually care about someone deeply and I don't want that disappear on me again.
"Astrid"
I stop and look around who said my name, I then saw someone standing in the corner.
"Hey Astrid, what's up"Ruffnut greets me, as she's waiting for the classroom to be open.
"Hey Ruffnut"I panted, and look back again.
"You okay?".
"Y-Y-Yeah! I'm just a little tired"I smile.
"It's Christmas Eve though!! Where is Hiccup?"Ruffnut wonders.
"He's out, I don't know why but I'm getting a little b##chy"I crossed my arms.
"Aww, don't worry, he'll turn up soon"Ruffnut assured me.
"Thanks Ruff"I smiled"Merry Christmas!".
"Merry Christmas girly!"She responds back and went back inside.
My smile faded as I stare back out of the view. As I heard the door opening I assume it was Ruffnut again.
Right now all of us are having a Christmas party at Elsa house, even his family came by too. They are so nice to me that they treated me like I was their. You know what I mean. I then look over at everyone as they are having a great time. Hearing the Christmas music and made me smile to see their happiness.
I look at the sky, it was a beautiful, fairly snow out too, could see the moon and then I faded out at the distance and saw something moving through the distance. It was odd as I kept staring at it, trying to find a better view until I saw a red flash then suddenly I was interrupted with a door opening.
"I said I'm fi-"I turn around and saw Hiccup standing there. Looking sheepishly at me.
"Hey"He said nervously.
My face was brighten as I walk closer to him and then hit him.
"Ow!" What was that for?!"He cries, motioning his hand at the spot where I hit him.
"That's for being late!"I yelled.
"What I-"
I then gave him a hug"and that's for showing up"
He chuckles"you're something Hofferson".
"I'm not something, I'm someone"I slightly blush"someone that belongs to another person".
"Ah! I hope that person will show appreciation"He slightly smile.
"I'm sure he will"I smirk, as I wrap my hands around his neck"because I'm sure he won't let go".
"I'm sure he will hold you forever"He glances down as we made eye contact.
"Oh! I have something for you"he lets go and pull out a Christmas gift bag.
"What is it?"I said, holding the bag.
"Open it"He smirk.
I rolled my eyes and opened the bag, it was a small box"wow! A box! Thanks Hiccup!".
He rolled his eyes and laugh"open it up you silly".
I giggled and open the small box and my face went blank as I saw a small ring that has the symbol H.
"Wow"I awed"it's beautiful".
Hiccup smiles and pick the ring on my finger.
"What does H stands for?"I whisper.
"Your heart will know"He responds, as he finishes putting the ring on my finger. I look up and I couldn't help but to blush.
"Thanks Hiccup"I almost felt like I was about to cry"that really means a lot to me".
"You're welcome"He smiles back and hold my hands"jheeeeze you should get inside, you're cold".
"Don't worry about me"I sigh, as I got closer to him"someone will keep me warm".
He chuckles"oh you".
We both then glance up the sky to see how beauty he night was. As we're almost cuddling which I couldn't help but to feel happiness around him.
"Hiccup"
"Astrid"
"I-"
"Hey both of you!! Get your a$$es in here!"Tuffnut shouts out by the door.
We both chuckle and walk together to check what's up inside. As we saw everyone gathering around for a group picture.
"Get in get in!"Anna squeals.
We then got to the group and saw Andrea giving Hiccup the look.
"Look who showed up!"Andrea raise her brow at Hiccup"where have you?".
"Ah you know! Running around"He respond back.
"Missing out on the party! Aww you both look cute!"She squeals happily".
"Andrea!"
"Alright everyone! Picture time!"Stoick announces, holding the camera.
I notice Fishlegs and Heather seems to be getting along famously. Looking cute though. Then Jack and Elsa seems to be giving looks. Okay so a much of future lovebirds I see but who knows what happens.
We then got into our spots but we were next to each other. Our group was Ruffnut, Tuffnut, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Heather, Cami, Elsa, Anna, Jack, Andrea, Hiccup, & Me.
"Alright everyone get that big smile going!"He says, joyfully holding the camera.
I suddenly felt someone grab my hand as I glance down. It was Hiccup's hand, I look up at him and saw him avoiding eye contact as I smile and then lean my head against his shoulder as his Dad took the picture.
It was a Merry Christmas for all of us. 🎄
