"Let me go!" Emily angrily snapped; attempting to keep her usual tone and demeanor around Sam but this faltering slightly after his abrupt actions... and statement.

Her face was flushed as she fought his tight grip, admittedly fearful around his newfound seriousness. She half hoped it was a joke in the sheer fearfulness of the experience... but she also half hoped it wasn't.

Pounding filled her chest as she was roughly tossed against the padded gym wall by the guy and cornered there; his arms trapping her and making escape difficult.

To be perfectly honest Emily could have very easily escaped. It only takes a strong enough hit in the right place. However, she didn't escape even with this knowledge... because half of her didn't want to.

"You better explain yourself," she hissed as faint heat danced across her face and Sam panted lightly to catch his breath.

Sam said nothing for a moment and simply continued to stare at her with unrecognizable emotion while steadily breathing. He then blinked before allowing his head to fall and he backed ever so slightly away. He was still close, but he had now made a small gap between the two.

"Sorry," He mumbled, eyes flickering backwards to see if he could spot Jungkook.

Emily's eyes widened in shock for a moment.

"Sorry? That's it? Sorry for what?!"

"Sorry." He repeated, not looking entirely so.

Emily had had enough at this point and scoffed before trying to push one of his shoulders away. He held steady and refused to move.

"Sam, stop being dumb and tell me what's going on or let me go!" She spat with a glare, increasingly more confused and hiding this with harsh words.

Her 'friend' of ten years looked back into her eyes after the outburst causing more heat to rise to her face as breathing became harder.

"Emily, are we friends?"

She initially scoffed at the question, but Sam kept his serious expression causing her to sigh.

"Yes of course. But we also hate each other... or love to hate each other I suppose. It's always been that way. So stop acting weird and... let's just rejoin (Y/N) and Jungkook."

She once again attempted to escape, but Sam only pushed her back.

"Cut it out!" She angrily exclaimed, "I swear-"

"We can't join them," The now mopey male uttered, "I was trying to peer pressure Jungkook into dancing with (Y/N) and get them alone. So we can't rejoin them."

"Oh..."

Sam was now extremely huffy and bit his lower lip in irritation.

"I sort of thought..."

"You can think?" She interrupted, causing Sam to grimace.

"Not funny."

Emily smirked lightly as the exasperated guy tried to recover what he had been saying before the insult.

"I sort of thought... maybe you'd want to be alone with me? It doesn't happen that often."

Emily felt shock wash over her but tried not to let it sway her normal character.

"I'm fine being alone with you, but only when you're acting normal. Right now? You're acting weird. Really weird."

Sam laughed lightly and shook his head as his shaggy hair moved with the motion.

"You know..." He started slowly, taking in the girl in front of him with his eyes as he fully relished in the fact that she did look good in the black and white dress, "It's not exactly that I love to hate you."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah," He agreed, maintaining seriousness. "It's more so that I hate to love you."

Silence fell upon the two and Emily found herself at a loss for words as his washed over her.

"And It's sort of driving me crazy," He admitted quietly, "Because I'm pretty sure that sometimes you really do hate me. And want to have nothing to do with me. I'm not saying I'm jealous of Jungkook... exactly... but he and (Y/N) are just so close and..."

"What are you saying?"

Disappointment, guilt, and shame washed over Sam immediately after the statement was out and he backed up even further.

"Never mind," He backtracked, "Just forget it."

Emily suddenly grabbed his tie and tugged him closer, the male going wide eyed at the motion and staring at her in shock as she slightly trembled in anger.

"Never mind?! Are you stupid? You just said you would kiss me in front of EVERYONE and pulled me over here, then used me and love in the same sentence, then said 'never mind'?! You idiot!" Her hands shook as she clasped onto the fabric of his tie. "What is wrong with you? Do you even have a brain? This is NOT how you treat a girl you're going to prom with!"

At first Sam was silent and did nothing. The two only stared at each other with intermingled breaths as the anger died away and the situation mostly turned awkward. Sam blinked when realization settled over him while Emily bit her lower lip; he suddenly cursing under his breath before gripping onto her elbows.

"I'm not jealous," He firmly stated with newfound certainty, a goofy smile suddenly appearing on his face, "I like this. I like you. I like us. Sure we aren't Jungkook and (Y/N), and we might never be, but I love to hate you. And I love to love you. Both at once. Now I'm sure. And guess what? You didn't shut up."

He leaned in only to find her stopping him.

"W-Wait, you have to let me say something to that!" Emily stammered, flustered after the sudden confession and prospect of him actually kissing her happening so fast and all at once.

Sam frowned.

"You talk too much," He pouted, suddenly meeting her lips and shutting her up before she could do anything about it. A mixture of emotions swarmed in her stomach while Sam's lips were on hers, and she was so overcome with the sensation that she became dizzy.

Emily didn't even know what she would have said. Maybe Sam knew this. It wasn't an intense kiss, but one rather soft in comparison to the usual harshness of the words the two constantly spat at each other.

Up close, it seemed as if this annoying person she had slapped with a sandwich all those years ago was almost entirely different. Maybe she liked his freckles and consistently unkept hair. Maybe most of the things she had ever said was a lie.

Because...

She liked it too.

But things can't last forever, and even though she would have liked the cliche pull away that resulted in staring into each others eyes for minutes while listening to each others heartbeats, life can't always be that way.

The surprisingly gentle kiss ended when Emily's eyelashes fluttered open and Sam pulled away when he felt her shock. But the shock wasn't derived from what had just happened. She was looking behind him, and Sam turned to see what she was looking at.

Jungkook was standing in the middle of the dance floor not moving. Others seemed to look at him oddly as he only stared at the floor; his face expressionless.

But that wasn't what bothered Emily about the scene.

"Where's (Y/N)?" She spoke in a panicked voice, "Why isn't she with Jungkook!?"

"Oh no," Sam uttered under his breath as he saw the form of his heartbroken friend, "Jungkook..."

"Who cares about him?" She snapped in interruption, "Don't you get it? I was trying to watch over (Y/N) because of May's plan! But you... y-you distracted me and-"

"May's plan?" Sam interrupted, confusion and fear laced in his voice as he stared at the girl of his affection, "What are you talking about?"

Emily locked her jaw before closing her eyes and breaking away from him; dragging him by the wrist.

"We need to hurry."

~~~
You harshly shoved Vince off of you as hot tears threatened to spill and immediately wiped your lips with your sleeve in disgust.
"W-What is your problem?!" You stammered as the guy only looked at the floor. But it wasn't him that was the issue, because you weren't alone in the hallway.
Even though you didn't want to look, your eyes flickered towards the sound of the clicking you had heard; even more mortified than you had expected upon seeing the sight. Your heart became encased in fear and horror.
May seemed to be examining the photo she had taken with satisfaction plastered on her features. She smugly nodded while pursing her lips; turning the camera around in a grand motion in order to showcase what she had captured.
"This will do," She spoke simply, lips coated in gloss curving up in a way that sickened you as the photo made your stomach lurch. Vince didn't look upwards. "Thanks."
"I've done my part now, right?" Vince uttered, "We can be together again... right?"
He looked up in a way that was so utterly... pathetic... that you could barely believe your eyes. May just continued to examine the photo and barely paid him any mind as she hummed.
"Sure. But only after everything is properly over. I'm still not done."
Vince paled as if unknowing of this fact and shook his head.
"But... we have the picture! Isn't that enough too-"
"It's never enough." She spat, suddenly pushing past Vince in order to approach your paralyzed form. She held up the camera and tapped the screen; you now able to see the up close image of Vince lip locking you in the hallway. It was blurry enough to not clearly show the disgust in your eyes.
Your mouth went dry and you only slowly met May's eyes.
"What... was the point of that." You finally made out, not knowing if you wanted the answer and refusing to look at the image any longer. You knew running was the smartest option, but you were so afraid and unsure of the potential weapon in May's hand that you stayed firm.
She shrugged.
"Not much to be honest. Mostly to just get your attention."
You suddenly felt rough hands grab you by the arms and slam you into the lockers lined up in the hallway. You hadn't noticed, but some of Vince's friends had also shown up and were now firmly holding you to make sure escape was impossible. Your head throbbed from the collision and you struggled for a moment before the cruel laughter of the guys stopped you.
"What's wrong? Pretty weak and useless without Jungkook, huh?"
You opened your mouth to speak, but a hand slapped you across the face witch only resulted in a whimper from you as your mind whirled in disbelief that May had so harshly hit you. You winced in pain as your head spun. She was really going this far?
"I don't suggest calling him either. I'd say our actions are justified considering I just saw you making out with my boyfriend. I have proof as well."
The photo was once again showcased to you as your heart pounded louder as danger became more surreal. You looked at Vince who met your eyes with pain embedded in them. He was pathetic in every sense, and you almost felt sorry for him. Almost.
"May, this is a little crazy, don't you think?" He attempted to say, but his friends were the ones who cut him off.
"What's wrong with you man?" The one holding your right arm spoke, "Don't you want to have some fun?"
You swallowed hard at his threatening words and yelped when his fingers dug into you further. Vince continued to say nothing and only looked away. He would clearly be of no help, and it seemed as if help at all was a far away prospect.
"I freaking hate you," May spat your way, not letting you move as she hurled the words towards your face. "You disgust me."
You didn't know how to respond.
"Why?" You finally asked, voice trembling. "I don't get it-"
"You have everything! I want you to know what it's like to have nothing. It's not fair, I thought you knew your place. I never wanted to see you happy again."
It was then that you realized... maybe she didn't have a reason. Maybe she never would. The pain and hate in her eyes had little to do with you, but for whatever reason something had coated her vision and turned every ounce of the blame on you.
"You have a perfect happy family with money. You have good grades. Don't you think that's enough? Why would you get to have everything? When I noticed everyone flocking towards you when you first came to the school, I had to let everyone know what you're really like. Then they stayed away." She swallowed hard and shook slightly.
You vaguely remembered the rumor going around school that May's mother had ran off with another man, never to be seen since.
"You even captured the guys attention." She laughed mockingly. "It was fine though. Soon enough I had everyone convinced. Everything was set in it's right place. Then... that new guy. He made you smile again, and it tortured me. Even after all my hard work, everything was still handed right to you, but this time in the form of a boy. The only boy that ever wouldn't listen to me. Jungkook is really wrapped around your finger, isn't he? I'd still like to know how you did it, but I guess it doesn't matter."
You were in immense pain now and yelped as you felt your body get thrown to the floor. May stepped on your skirt to stop you from getting up.
"Guess what (Y/N)? I'm here to tell you something now. I don't need to do anything with this picture. I don't need to do anything at all! You're weak, pathetic, and will always end up alone. It's the one thing I'll always have over you."
"Let me go then," You pleaded in desperation, trying to crawl away but stopped by the other two guys that towered over you. "I don't get what you want... I'm sorry you hate me but there's nothing I can do." a bead of sweat rolled down your face. May's smirk never faltered.
"I just want to make sure I get to see you suffer. Get to see you all alone. Honestly, I thought it would be a lot harder, but you ruined everything on your own." May knelt next to your shaking form on the floor and turned the camera around again, only this time to display a different picture. It was Jungkook.
He was standing alone on the dance floor just as you began to run from him; the very scene you had intended to fix before being stopped by Vince. It was a heartbreaking scene, and you looked away so you wouldn't have to see it anymore.
"Great job (Y/N). You proved me right. You think he'll ever talk to you again? Do you think he'll ever want to be seen with you? He's already a mockery. And guess what else?"
You felt tears build up so you closed your eyes, not wanting to hear any more. The words were your own fears brought to life, and they hurt more than any amount of physical pain.
"He's leaving," May smugly spoke, the same haunting words that had been pestering your mind brought out and cutting you like a knife. "You'll never see him again. You'll be all alone, and he'll leave without saying a word to you. Maybe it's better this happened though, hmm? It makes it a lot less painful."
You turned away so your tears wouldn't be seen, but a harsh kick was registered to your side by one of the guys that forced you around once more. The liquid spilled now as both mental and physical pain were traumatizing your body.
"Stop..." You made out, but more forceful jabs and kicks were registered to your arms and you were even pulled upwards by your hair to keep you upright. It was the most cruel thing you had ever experienced.
"I know you think Jungkook is coming as if it's a movie or something," May laughed with manic happiness in her eyes, "But he's not. This is reality. And why would he? Let me tell you something about guys, girl to girl," She leaned down next to your heavily panting and crying form, you trying to retreat but receiving a hit to the head. She smirked. "Guys are only after one thing. He spent so much time with you, it's only natural that his hormones led him to do some things... and now you made a fool out of him. He doesn't like you, he was just at times driven by nature."
Every word stung, and you realized that they sounded way too similar to your inner demons. Why was every fear making itself heard? It was too much. You would have preferred any physical torment to hearing what May was saying, and her smirk never left her face. It was a look that would haunt you forever.
Jungkook wouldn't come. She was right. And he was leaving... May was once again right. Maybe it was better this way. After all, there was nothing you could do to change anything. Jungkook had been your change, but when he would leave? Everything would go back to normal. This was just the way things were.
Sam and Emily would both go their own way. Sam had no reason to hang around you, and based on all the information May miraculously had, you now knew Emily was in no way your friend. She clearly had still been in contact with her all along.
And Jungkook probably thought very little of you. He was undeserving of you. He could have had it all... all the friends, everything and more. You had only held him back at school. And every spark between the two of you that you thought might be mutual attraction? May was probably right in that sense too. You felt like an idiot. You felt pathetic.
Maybe that's why you took every hit without struggling at all.
~~~

"(Y/N)!" Sam called, he and Emily running through the empty halls of the school. Emily never stopped cursing under her breath as the two looked about.

"I can't believe this is happening," She uttered, Sam flustered at her words.

"You keep saying that without telling me what you even mean! Why won't you let me know what's going on?"

"Later," She promised, shaking her head, "Right now we just need to find (Y/N). You never should have pulled me away."

"I was trying to be romantic!"

"Shut up."

Sam clenched his mouth shut and angrily turned away, looking down one of the hallways before turning back to Emily.

"I don't think she went this way."

"She has to be here!" Emily spoke in a panicked motion, "Where could she be?"

"Try the bathroom while I go get Jungkook. Maybe he can help us," Sam suggested, but Emily only shook her head.

"I'll check the girls bathroom, but don't get Jungkook. It might make things worse. Go check by the math room and outside the school instead, got it?"

Sam nodded, wishing he knew more of what was going on and praying that the Emily he knew was someone to be trusted. He had such complete faith that he was scared could be shattered. He didn't want his best friend to be a liar.

But when Emily had spoken May's name... his heart had skipped a beat in fear.

Please be a misunderstanding...

"I trust you," He made out, "But-"

He stopped talking when the two heard footsteps; both he and Emily whirling towards the end of the dark hall to see a form slowly making it's way closer.

Their eyes widened when you were made clear in the dim lighting; halting slightly when you saw the two. Perhaps the shocking fact was your appearance.

Or maybe it was the soulless look in your eyes that was almost unidentifiable.

You had been limping slightly and your dress was torn. Your once styled hair was in shambles and your makeup had been running in ways that made clear you had been crying.

The thing that stood out the most were the bruises. The purple blotches coated your arms and legs in many spots and made it look as if you were decorated with the colored wounds. Even your face had been injured.

Emily's pure look of horror said enough.

"Oh my God," Sam breathed, "(Y/N)?! What happened?"

You said nothing.

"What happened?" He repeated, taking a step closer and meaning to help you while Emily stared wide eyed at the destruction she had been unable to stop.

"Why don't you ask her?" You made out in a weak and raspy voice, taking a step away from Sam and allowing your eyes to flicker towards Emily.

Sam's heart once again skipped a beat and he turned towards his friend as well in some sort of search for answers. He continued to plead for a misunderstanding.

"(Y/N) you don't understand-" She began, but you only shook your head.

"I think I understand enough. I'm pretty sure no one knew Jungkook was leaving besides us three. I trusted you with that information. Guess I'm an idiot."

You briskly began walking away, Sam calling after you but you not stopping. You refused to.

All you wanted was to go home and to not be seen. To cover your bruises with make up and put on a fake smile for your parents so you could go to bed. Jungkook's corsage was so messed up that you quickly pulled it off your arm and threw it on the cold floor of the school.

You didn't want any reminders anyway.

You couldn't go back through the gym, so instead made your way to one of the back doors of the school. Your plan had been to sneak out without anyone seeing you, just like the old days. You didn't need anyone right now.

Unfortunately your plan backfired, because the moment you reached for the door to push it open and escape the building, it was already opening.

Jungkook pulled open the door in a hurried fashion, almost running into you but stopping himself just in time. You were beyond shocked at first to see him. Usually his form would bring you joy, and for a split second you almost felt it.

It was quickly extinguished as memories and words flooded back to you.

"(Y/N)," He spoke in surprise as the door closed behind him; leaving the two of you alone in the dark hall. You quickly looked to the floor. You didn't want to meet his eyes. Jungkook shuffled awkwardly at first and also looked down, unsure of what to say.

"I-I'm sorry," He finally made out, "I was looking for you to say this but I couldn't find-"

"Don't worry about it," You interrupted, immediately trying to walk past him. This was too much to deal with right away. Home was the only thing on your mind. Your best friend however was having none of this and blocked you immediately with hurt in his eyes.

"Where are you going?" He asked, not knowing what was wrong.

"Home."

"But-" He bit his lower lip and shook his head. The gold hoops in his ears glistened in the dim lighting. "Why home? I didn't mean to ruin prom... I'm very sorry. I-I don't know why I did that. Sam just-"

"I know Jungkook. I know you and Sam were messing around. It doesn't matter, I just want to go home."

He blocked your retreat once again. Slight rage suddenly began building in you, and although the emotion scared you, you had no control over it.

"I just wanted to tell you something," Jungkook began, but stopped talking immediately as he suddenly seemed to notice your appearance. His soft brown eyes widened as he took in your pretty dress that was now in shambles and messy hair ruined by someone other than him.

You felt uncomfortable under his eyes as he took in every inch of you but stayed firm as silence continued to fill the void between the two of you. When he saw the bruises, his bottom lip trembled slightly as he continued to stare.

At this point you were ready to push past him in order to reach the exit, but the moment you tried he captured your wrist and pulled you back in front of him.

"Who did this?" He questioned, voice suddenly deeper and eyes almost... scary as he flipped over your arm in order to trace his thumb across one of the bruises littered there. "What happened? Answer."

At first you had been surprised by this menacing form of Jungkook that you had never seen before, but you quickly snapped out of it as that scary emotion returned.

"Why do you care?" You snapped, pulling your wrist away quickly. "Why do you care Jungkook?! Just let me go! Who cares anyway, you'll be gone soon. We both know this. So tell me, why do you care?"

Emotions had now built up to it's peak for both parties, which was why, after a few more heated breaths, Jungkook stepped into your personal space and once again took a hold of your wrist; all the while maintaining eye contact.

He raised it slightly, allowing his eyes to once again flicker to one of the bruises painted on it before meeting your eyes again. For some reason your words almost brought something out of him, but he didn't know what to say, so only let actions do the talking.

Maybe it was a mistake, but Jungkook didn't feel completely in control any longer. He was angry that someone had hurt you. He was still slightly distraught by you leaving him in the middle of the gym. He was upset by your words. He just wanted you, and was tired of all the obstacles.

"Why do I care?" He repeated your question, and you gasped as he tugged you even closer to him. He continued to stare at the particular spot on your wrist and allowed his eyes to trail upwards as he examined your arm. Your heart suddenly began picking up speed, as if knowing what he was considering.

"J-Jungkook," You stammered, some of May's words still lingering in your mind. "Don't-"

Jungkook's plump lips connected with your wrist softly as to not hurt the wound; they brushing against the spot of erupted purple and hesitating to move from the spot as he felt your warm skin.

Your heart exploded and you tensed up to the point where you were frozen in place as you watched wide eyed and felt his soft lips on you. He pulled away halfway when he felt you tense up, but only to pull your fearful and emotionally conflicted form even closer in order to plant a kiss on the next bruise on your forearm.

Your body shivered as you watched him trail kisses slowly and painfully up your arm. Every colored spot was met with his lips and you felt as if your entire body was on fire and gasped when he reached your shoulder.

Your gasp only made Jungkook's craving worsen somehow as his hot breath fanned against your exposed skin. His eyes flickered towards your neck and he slowly raised his head. Anger was pulsing through him that someone would ever dare lay a hand on you. Other emotions also swarmed within Jungkook's mind as he realized just how badly he had wanted to be this close to you for so long.

He wished he could stop, but he didn't think it was possible. You whimpered as his hair tickled your nose and he neared the spot on your neck that he loved so much. His lips lightly brushed the surface at first, but it didn't take long for them to fully connect.

You felt your knees buckle as Jungkook's hands found their way to your waist and he kissed your neck slowly. This... was...

"He doesn't like you, he was just at times driven by hormones."

"STOP!" You suddenly shouted, pushing away from him as tears slid down your face. You were once again met with the cold air as Jungkook's body was now away from you. Your body continued to shiver; once from him but now from lack of him. Jungkook's eyes were wide and... unreadable.

But you couldn't worry about that. This was it, you couldn't do this any longer.

"J-Just... stop." You stammered as you tried to stop crying. "Please. Leave me alone."

"(Y/N)..."

"ENOUGH!" You needed to get away from him. "I don't care about you Jungkook! And you don't care about me. Just... stay out of my way! If you were ever my friend, then you'll leave me alone from here on out and leave me quietly this summer. Please..." You were begging him in a way as pathetic as Vince, "Please let me go. I'll say it again slowly so you can understand." You took a shaky breath. "You don't like me. You are hurting me. Let me leave."

His eyes wavered as your words washed over him. It didn't take long for them to all fully process. Jungkook had been studying extra hard, and it seemed as if now it paid off. For once he wish he didn't understand.

You ran away from him again, and the door slammed in his face in a way he wished he had been hit by. Then maybe it would distract him from the pain in his heart and the regret of everything in his mind.

~~~
You had been crying for hours, and the tears never stopped. You had done your best for your parents; climbing the tree and changing into pajamas before going downstairs, weakly smiling, and explaining you had left early because you had been tired.
All you could hope was that your sobs were quiet enough that your parents couldn't hear.
Your mental state was in shambles, and you hadn't felt like this in a long time. There was no one for you and no one could make you feel better, but you had to come to terms with this.
Your body ached so you moved the ice pack to a different area. You also hoped your parents hadn't seen you fetch it from the freezer.
Your fingers trailed your bruises and made you wince as you examined yourself and tried to pull yourself together. You had to be strong and make it on your own. After all, that was how things would be now.
You closed your eyes, but the moment you did you saw Jungkook's face. You quickly opened them once more. Gritting your teeth, you moved the ice pack up your arm. Unfortunately new visions of Jungkook kissing you there erupted and you soon growled in anger before throwing the ice pack across the room.
It was over. Fresh tears emerged when you realized you had now officially lost your best friend... forever. But maybe, just maybe, the memories of him could help you through the hard times. You blushed as your fingers trailed your neck, you wondering if he had meant to leave a bruise of his own there before shaking your head in exasperation and annoyance at yourself and your hormones.
"Not that memory," You murmured with a blush, instead focusing on other times. Like going to the pool with him. Dressing up in disguises to escape May. Eating ice cream after soccer games. Pranking Sam with the super glue. Laughing at the lunch table.
These were memories you would have for the rest of your life.
Your heart was broken, and as these images came you only continued to cry. You felt so pathetic, but could do nothing about it. May was right, you would always end up alone and you had most likely meant nothing to Jungkook ultimately except something that held him back.
You only hoped you had now said enough to keep him away.
You were pulled out of your thoughts by your phone ringing; it pulling your eyes to see Sam's name flash on the screen. You didn't want to answer, so at first avoided it by laying down and pulling the pillow over your face.
It seemed as if the ringing only got louder. You sighed and bit your lower lip; finally deciding you most likely owed Sam an explanation. You decided you would tell him not to worry and to also stay out of your way.
After coming to this conclusion, your fingers gripped onto your phone and you hit the answer button before bringing it to your ear.
"(Y/N)?" Sam's voice immediately exploded before you could even say anything.
"Yeah it's me," You made out, realizing how shaky and messed up your voice was from crying and feeling embarrassed by this fact, "Listen-"
"You better come back," Sam interrupted with haste in his voice, "To after prom I mean."
Anger once again bubbled within you.
"Why should I?" You snapped, "Don't worry about me. Ever again. I'm fine on my own."
"You don't understand, it's-"
"Don't call me again."
You were about to hang up, but Sam's voice spoke words that halted you in your tracks as they exploded through the phone.
"IT'S JUNGKOOK!"
You froze. When his words settled, you brought the phone back to your ear.
"What?" You questioned, "What about Jungkook?"
Sam swallowed hard.
"I need help... he needs help. Please, you have to come back-"
"What's wrong?" You interrupted, panic laced in your throat and rising in your heart. There was silence before he finally made out the words.
"Uh... he's umm... He's drunk."
