When I came to, I was staring up at a ceiling. I blinked and everything came into view. I turned and noticed all the equipment.
"Good afternoon, Young Mistress. Everyone's been worried. Dr. Banner, along with your family are coming as of right now." I heard FRIDAY say.
"Hi, FRIDAY. How long have I been out?" I croaked out.
"A year. It's good to have you, awake." FRIDAY said in a happy tone and I let out a crappy hum in response, before the door all but flung open, to reveal dad panting, before he quickly dropped to my side, where he looked me over.
"You scared the shit out of me, Mimma." dad whispered.
"I never wanted to. I just couldn't let Thanos get what's mine. I'm sorry." I whispered and dad pressed a kiss to my forehead. Pepper came jogging in and all but threw herself at me, to give me a hug, before he started to press kisses all over my face, which made me laugh some.
"You look like a perfect mixture of your mom and dad now, Star." I heard and I looked over to see Uncle James.
"What do you mean?"
"Heterochromia. One brown, one blue." Uncle James said.
"Looks pretty badass if you ask me." Harley said as he walked in.
"Hey, Harley." I said.
"Welcome back to the awake World, little Sis." He said as he sat down.
"Oh no, what'd I miss?" I asked.
"Pep and I took legal custody of Harley, after a robot attack by his house took place. Robot crushed the house, killing everyone as Harley was away for a school trip. He lives part time here and the tower." Dad said.
"We had SHIELD's help." Pepper said and I nodded before Dr. Banner came in with Helen. Everyone backed off, just enough for me to be checked out before I was cleared to eat but slowly, as my joining with the Stone had increased my healing capabilities several times over.
"I brought cheeseburgers." Happy said as he walked in and I smiled at him.
"Hi, Happy."
"Hey, Pen. Hope your hungry."
"Starving." I said which made everyone laugh before they caught me up on everything.
"So I was still giving you guys advice, even though I was in a coma, balancing out my powers." I said as I held my third cheeseburger.
"Yep. We have everything on tape, for you to recap later." Harley said and I nodded before they kept catching me on everything until it was nightfall.
"Try and get some sleep." Dad said.
"We'll have pancakes." Pepper said before she kissed the side of my head.
Three days later, I was cleared from the Med Bay, and I followed dad to the common room, where everyone was lazing around.
"Hey guys." I said and they all turned, blinked and the smiled.
"Penny!" They all yelled before they all took turns hugging me. I laughed and caught up with everyone until FRIDAY alerted us that there was someone attempting to sneak in. I blinked and turned to a window, where I was overwhelmed with guilt and fear, followed by wonder of Steve and pain.
"It's Barnes. Something happened to his arm, and he can't fix it himself." I said and that made everyone nod, before Barnes rounded the corner.
"Hi, Buck." Steve said softly.
"Steve." Barnes whispered then he looked over to dad, guilty as he held his metal arm.
"I can't fix my arm myself. I know you probably hate me-"
"I don't hate you, Barnes. You were controlled by HYDRA. And there's one thing I do know. You would never willingly work with HYDRA or do any of those killings. Now, let's fix your arm and get you some food. A shower as well." Dad said and I walked with dad to the lab. Barnes sat on a free chair, and I walked around grabbing a few tools that'll help fix his arm, before I sat them down.
"You look like Stark, but someone else as well but I cannot place who." Barnes said as he looked at me.
"My mom's name was Mary Fitzgerald. She was a SHIELD Agent and a Scientist as well." i said and he looked away from me.
"I'm sorry." He got out and i knew he was the reason for the car accident that killed mom.
"I don't hate you, Barnes. Yes, I lost my mom, but I gained a much bigger family in the process. Let us help you." I said.
"That's why I'm here, so your dad can fix my arm." He said.
"That's not what I mean. You can start over here." I said.
"And what, lose control? Become him, again? I can't do that." He said and I rolled my eyes, before I poked his head.
"Then let's take that side away from you." I said before I carefully found the parts of his brain, and the codewords that would trigger him into turning into the Winter Soldier, and I wiped them from his mind. I blinked and lowered my hand, watching as Barnes instantly relaxed tenfold, but was still tense.
"Will he be okay?" Steve asked me.
"No one will have to worry about the Winter Soldier, coming back." I said before I helped dad with Barnes arm, as Steve and Bucky talked softly.
"That should do it, for your arm, Barnes. The kids and I can, make you a brand new one, that doesn't hold your past, if you like." Dad said and he looked at us in shock.
"You'd do that for me, even after what I did to you both? To everyone?" he asked.
"Of course." I said.
"You deserve your second chance in life." Dad said before he pulled my chair closer so he could pull me into a hug.
"I got my second chance, and I don't plan on letting them go." Dad said and Barnes look down for several moments then nodded.
"We'll put your room right next to Steve's." dad said.
"You two go ahead and catch up some more. We can have him met the others later, and we can have Therapy together." I said and Barnes furrowed his brows.
"Therapy?" He asked.
"It's what Pepper Potts, Stark's girlfriend, had us all do. We talk about our problems, are fears, the past, and more. It helps." Steve said before he ushered Barnes out.
Over the course of several weeks, Barnes, who wished to be called Bucky slowly got better. He still had his moments, where he would flinch if anyone would touch him, or say a certain word, or do a certain action. He still had nightmares, but between the Therapy, Wanda and I both carefully using our powers to ease his mind over the nightmares, he slowly got better. I was leaning up against dad with my feet in Wanda's lap, laughing at a story Bucky was telling about Steve when I felt a powerful surge of energy. I blinked and looked around but no one else seemed to have felt it when I felt a familiar power surge.
"Sir, it would appear Captain Danvers, has entered the atmosphere with a spaceship. She's requesting permission to land the ship on the grounds."
"Who's on the Ship?" I asked.
"She says it's the team you wished her to put together." FRIDAY said and quickly stood up.
"Give the okay." I said before I portalled away. I watched as Carol carefully landed the ship, before she turned around.
"Hey, Space Stone." She said with a smirk before we hugged. She let me go, but rested her arm on my shoulder as the ship opened and the group inside walked out cautiously.
"Welcome to Earth, you are currently at the Avengers Compound." I said and that made them all turn around, ready to arm themselves.
"I wouldn't do that. She's the powerful being I told you all about. She is the Space Stone." Carol said.
"But that's impossible. No one can hold a Stone normally, without dying. We only survived holding the stone as long as we did because of Quill's Celestial heritage." the green one said.
"We like to do what should be impossible and live to tell the tell. You can call me, Penny." I said.
"Peter Quill, otherwise known as Starlord."
"Gamora."
"Drax the Destroyer."
"Rocket."
"I am Groot."
"I, Mantis."
"Nebula."
"I know. I've seen your pasts and I've seen your futures. Carol, brought you here, because of one reason." I said.
"Which is?" Gamora asked.
"To kill, Thanos before he gets the stones. He may have the Power stone, but he cannot get the others. It's impossible to get the Space Stone now, because Penny is the Space Stone." Carol said.
"What exactly can you do, anyway?" Quill asked me. I smirked before I created many portals, illusions of myself, then I felt my eyes glow, and I moved my hands in a way that allowed myself to float off the ground.
"She can see your past, and what's going to happen in your future or the future in general. She can enter your minds but she doesn't like to as it's like giving away your free will." Carol said.
"Holy shit." Quill said and I landed lightly on my feet once more, without my powers.
"Thanos still has his other children that are loyal to him, and still a large army." Nebula said.
"We know. I took out the planet full of the dogs, what two years ago?" I asked.
"I believe so." Carol said with a half shrug before the others finally caught up to us. Introductions were made before we all headed in to discuss.
Over the course of several days, Nebula and Gamora talked about Thanos, as dad, Rocket, Harley, Dr. Banner, Quill and I fixed their ship until it was ready to go. When dad was asleep, I let some tears silently fall, before I lightly poked his forehead, making him sleep heavier and placed a little seed of my power, that would help protect him, from everything, and would let him know i was still alive, no matter the distance. I swallowed heavily, before I added in a mode that would allow him to instantly know when Thanos was dead, and when I was home. I also made it to where not even Wanda would be able to tell I was in his mind, before I leaned down and kissed his forehead before I silently left, heading to the lab, where I deleted everything that had to do with Quill's ship, and me messing with dad's head before I carefully shut FRIDAY down, just long enough for me to be outside with the others.
"I don't like you doing this, Penny." Carol said with a frown.
"I don't either, but if they go. They all die, and I turn into your number one enemy. It's for the best." I said softly before we all piled onto the ship. I buckled in and closed my eyes feeling for Thanos' other children until I found two of them, forcing me to snap my eyes open. I created the portal, and Quill flew us into it, until we were hovering over the planet that they were on.
"Your siblings have foot soldiers and the Leviathans with them." I said.
"Then we have a lot of ground to cover." Nebula said.
"I'll take out the ship."
"I'll deal with the Leviathans." I said.
"We'll handle the rest." Rocket said before Quill flew us down to the planet. Carol and I jumped out via portal and got to work taking out the ships and the Leviathans.
Tony POV
I woke up with a jerk, and a horrible gut feeling. I sat up and rubbed my face, which caused Pep to wake up some.
"Another nightmare?" She asked my softly.
"Not this time. Something isn't right. I'm going to go check on the kids. I'll be back in a moment." I said before I kissed her forehead. She nodded before rolling back over and falling asleep, while I got out of bed. I walked over to Harley's room, and opened his door a crack to see that it was messy, but still cleaned compared to Barton's, with Harley asleep on his bed, and his textbooks surrounding him. I snorted, before I silently and carefully made my way in, where I carefully marked his places, before putting his books, and papers onto his desk before placing another blanket on him, then left his room.
I walked over to Penny's, and cracked her door open but didn't even hear the music, she usually falls asleep to, which made me frown. I opened her door fully and was greeted with silence, and no Penny. I quickly walked to the common room, but didn't see her there or the kitchen. I asked FRIDAY to check the library, dance room, and her normal hiding places.
"Young Mistress isn't in the building or the grounds."
"Get me, KAREN." I said as I fought off a panic attack.
"What can I do for you, Boss?" KAREN asked a moment later.
"Is Penny at her compound?"
"Negative, boss. She's not anywhere in the city, either. Shall I scan, for her everywhere else?" KAREN asked.
"Yes. FRIDAY, scan for Penny, everywhere." I said as I still fought off my panic attack as I paced up and down the common room.
"My scans are picking up, Young Mistress's trackers in her room." FRIDAY said.
"She's not there." I said as I grabbed a free tablet and started to go over the footage of the past four or five hours only to see that it didn't make sense. I dug through the files but still found nothing, so I had FRIDAY wake the others as I fought off the panic attacks.
"Stark, what's going on? Why'd you wake us up, this late? Is there a mission?" Wilson asked.
"Penny's gone. KAREN nor FRIDAY can find her anywhere, her trackers are saying she's in her room, but she's not there." I said and threw the tablet down.
"And the fucking video footage, isn't making any sense." I said as I started to pace as I ran my hand through my hair.
"We'll find her, Tony." everyone said.
"Hand me the pad. If there's one thing I know about, Penny. I know the way she codes." Harley said around a yawn.
"This is what I've managed to piece together. It's pretty much nothing, but it's still better than nothing." Harley said before he swiped up, projecting out the footage. We all watched as Penny, left her room, but wasn't picked up on any of the other cameras until she was in the lab, then nothing.
"Hey, Tones. The space people, Carol and the ship is gone." Rhodes said and I instantly knew.
"She's going after Thanos." I whispered.
Penny POV
After a tiring battle, Thanos was down two loyal children, and a large portion of his army. We stayed on the planet, long enough to set up a new government system, and to heal, and repair before we headed out once more.
"How long has it been?" I asked.
"You've been gone two weeks." Carol said and I nodded before changing the subject to where Rocket and i were fiddling around with some scrap metal.
"I know your powerful, but why are you doing this?" Rocket asked me and I looked down, before i let out a slow breath, where I told him everything about my past.
"Ever since I got my powers, I haven't been able to dream. It's always just visions of death, Thanos, more death, Ash, the Stones, dying myself, then turning into the number one enemy of the Universe because of what happens to stop Thanos the second time around. I need to give myself and my dad peace from being mentally tormented by Thanos every second of every day." I said and he nodded.
"Better do this quickly then. Your dad's going to need you."
"I know." I said and then thought of something.
"Those batteries you told me about. Where'd you get them?" I asked and he told me.
"They don't like us right now, though since I did steal them." he said.
"Let's head there. We can use them to make bombs against Thanos' army. Besides, I'm very persuasive. After all, I lived through talking to Odin, several times." I said before going to where Quill was, and told him. He didn't like it at first, but then he agreed.
I sighed once I plopped down on the bed, Carol and I agreed to share.
"Talking to Odin wasn't even that taxing. What the fuck?" I asked and Carol laughed.
"Hey, you did good though. You got us a small box full of those batteries, and got them to agree to stop sending bounty hunters after the Guardians. I call that a double win."
"Fair enough." I said before I sat up, to talk battle plans, and ate the food Carol said would be good for me to eat without risk of anything weird happening to me.
"Alright, get up here, kid. Your going to learn how to fly this fucker." Rocket called out and I raised an eyebrow, shrugged and went to the front.
One month later, I smiled as I handed a mother her child, after another long battle against the other two Thanos children, and their army.
"Thank you, Celestia. Thank you." She said as she hugged her child carefully, but tightly before walking away. I blinked and turned to Rocket.
"Who the hell is, Celestia?" I asked and he looked up at me and laughed.
"That's what everyone's been calling you. You've made your mark out here in the Galaxy. It's only right you have a title." Rocket said before he turned, probably going to go find Groot. I shook off what he said, before I went to go get cleaned up, before I carefully studied how the government worked, picking up how to read their language before I pitched in a few ideas that would help them, before it was time for us to go.
"So this just leaves Thanos and what's left of his army, right?" I asked and Nebula nodded.
"He'll be on his ship." Gamora said.
"Then we need to draw him out, to a barren planet." I said.
"I am Groot."
"He wants the stones, right? Tease him, with it." i said.
"Your father will kill all of us, if you die." Carol said.
"I don't plan on dying." I said as I swiped the screen, looking for an empty planet we could use before Carol and I both stopped, than ran to the front where we saw a large ship.
"Where's that empty planet, at?" I asked and they all quickly swiped.
"Ten clicks!" Quill yelled and I glanced at him for a moment, getting all the information I needed before we all jumped through a portal. Carol got us to land, and hid the ship, before she nodded at me. I nodded back, before I snapped my fingers, making her seem invisible as she flew off, before Thanos ship came through the portal. A few moments later, Thanos and a large army appeared and I felt my blood turn cold.
"Rocket, I have a mission for you, that you need to do quickly." I said.
"What is it?"
"I'm sending you to Terra, more specifically New Asgard that's on Earth. Start shouting that I'm in trouble. More specifically say, Lady Penny is in trouble and needs more manpower. No one else, but the Asgardians are to come." I said and Rocket nodded before i sent him to Earth.
"This is real bad." Quill said.
"Then get your powers, ready. We're in for one hell of a fight." I said.
"I don't have them anymore. I killed my father, so I don't have powers." He said and I just gave him a look calling stupid.
"And you believed him?"
"Well, ya."
"Gamora, you love an idiot."
"I know, but he's mine."
"You still have you powers, dumbass! They are just, asleep." I said.
"Quickly tell me how to awake them, then!" Quill said and I rolled my eyes before I flicked his forehead, then turned my attention to Thanos.
"I know the Space Stone is here. Bring it to me." We all heard Thanos say, before everything went to hell, quickly.
Tony POV
I stood to the side, after finishing setting up some medical equipment for Thor and the other Asgardians in New Asgard, when a familar portal opened up, only for Rocket to jump through.
"Rocket!" I boomed and he looked over at me.
"Sorry, Old Man, but Penny said that you can't go." he said.
"To Hell with that! I'm going back with you, to bring my daughter home!" I yelled.
"You come with me and you'll die! Everytime you die, Penny goes apeshit and becomes worse than Thanos!" Rocket yelled back up at me, shocking me.
"Every night, she silently cries because she keeps seeing you die, over and over again at the hands of Thanos! She doesn't think we notice but we do! She's away from you right now, taking care of Thanos and his army, to stop both of your nightmares!" Rocket yelled then ran off calling for help, which caused a lot of the Asgardians to drop what they were doing, grab their weapons and followed Rocket, before another portal opened and I watched Penny tumble through, rather harshly.
"Penny!" I yelled before I ran towards her, to see blood, cuts and brusies already forming.
"Hi, dad." She whispered with a sad smile.
"Just stop this, please. Come home." I said.
"I can't. Not yet. I'm sorry." She said before she snapped her fingers, and I was back at the compound looking at a portal of her. I tried to walk through it but I couldn't. I started to hit the invisible wall.
"Tony, stop!" Steve yelled as he tried to stop me, when Penny turned to look at us.
"I'll be home sooner than you think, Dad. I love you." I heard Penny say before she was gone and the Portals were gone.
"GOD FUCKING DAMNIT!" I yelled as I dropped to my knees
Penny POV
"What the hell is taking that damn Trash Panda so fucking long?!" Quill yelled into the comms as he shot another Outrider.
"I don't know! I'll go check! One minute and I'll be back!" I yelled before I opened a portal. I went to jump through, but I was forced through instead, after a blaster shot the ground by me, forcing me out.
"Penny!" I heard my dad yell and I snapped my eyes open, to see him. I quickly looked around to see I had landed in New Asgard, meaning dad was here for a different reason.
"Hi, dad." I said with a sad smile.
"Just stop this, please. Come home." dad said.
"I can't. Not yet. I'm sorry." I told her before i snapped my fingers, forcing him back to the Avengers Compound. I got up and looked up at Thor.
"The reign of Commander are yours, Lady Penny." Thor said and I slightly nodded before I looked out over the small sea of Asgardians, armed and ready.
"Thanos and his army are your enemy. Peter Quill, Nebula, Carol Danvers, Rocket, Groot, Drax, Gamora and Mantis are not your enemies, but your allies! Thanos reign of terror across the galaxy ends today!" I said loudly before I stood up taller, as they all let out a battle cry as they all started to jump through the portal I made, while I looked at dad, to see him struggling in Steve's hold. I sent Steve a look, silently asking him to take care of dad and the others making nod some.
"Come home safely, Penny. We all need you." He mouthed.
"I'll be home sooner than you think, Dad. I love you." I said before I jumped through the portal myself, closing both of them, before I jumped back into the battle. I landed in front of Thanos, glowing blue.
"Penelope Stark. You are burdened with knowledge that shouldn't been yours." Thanos said.
"Your reign of terror across the galaxy ends today, Thanos." I said.
"So powerful. I could use another daughter, as mine are either dead or turned against me." He said.
"Not ever going to fucking happen." I said as I started to floating with a few giant rocks, before I threw them at him. I kept attacking him, before I lifted him off the ground and started to strip him of his armor, causing him to cry out in pain, as I made other parts of his armor start to stab him.
"Fire!" Thanos yelled.
"But, Sire! Our troops!"
"Just do it!" Thanos yelled and a moment later, his ship started to shoot. I threw my arm out to shield myself, but I was still blasted away. I landed harshly next to Loki, who was taking cover.
"Is this part of your plan, Lady Penny?" He asked.
"Would you be mad if I said, yes?" I asked and he sighed before he helped me sit up.
"What are we waiting for?" he asked.
"Carol. She had to go and get more energy. She should be ready now." I said and tapped my comm three times.
"Carol, do you read me?" I asked.
"Loud and clear, Space Stone. Entering atmosphere, now." She said and I nodded around the rock, so Loki and I cautiously peered around, to watch as the ship stopped shooting at us, to start shooting up in the sky. I watched with a large smile on my face as Carol destroyed the ship without a problem before she glowed powerfully in the sky.
"Go." Loki whispered with a light push, and I nodded before I portaled away, to float, as powerful as she was.
"Asgardians and Guardians of the Galaxy!" Carol said loudly.
"Let's keep the peace and end Thanos' reign of terror across the galaxy!" I yelled and everyone let out a battle cry before attacking with even more vigour before Carol and I started attacking as well, before Carol, Thor and I sent powerful attacks straight at Thanos. I made a portal and Mantis landed on his shoulders, where she grabbed his head, making him stop fighting.
"He's. He's fighting me." Mantis said and I carefully moved to the side allowing Nebula to walk forward.
"This is for everything you've personally done to me, and everyone else." Nebula said before she cut off his head.
"What should we do about the stones?" Nebula asked as she tried to slow her breathing. I carefully pulled off the gauntlet.
"They wished to be destroyed. Time is protected and cherished by the Sorcerer Supreme on Midgard, and the Mind is happy to help Protect and expand our knowledge on how to make Midgard safer." i said.
"What about you? You are the Space Stone, now. How do you feel?" Loki asked me, looking worried.
"I'm at peace, knowing that my number one mental tormentor can no longer torment me." I said before I closed my eyes to talk with the other stones.
"The Stones wish for the Stark Bloodline to keep the Space Stone. To be the bridge between the Asgardians, Midgardians and everyone in the Galaxy." I said.
"As the Kings of New Asgard, we agree with the Stark Bloodline." Thor and Loki said.
"As the leaders of the Guardians of the Galaxy, we agree with the Stark Bloodline." Gamora and Quill said.
"As the Intergalactic Rebel leader, a Guardian and an Avenger, I to agree with the Stark Bloodline." Carol said and I created a portal for the injured Asgardians to walk through, leaving Thor, Loki, Carol and the Guardians with me.
"What about the Soul Stone?" Gamora asked me.
"The Soul Stone needs to help keep the balance. No one breath of its location." I said and she nodded.
"Destroying my Sister Stones, are going to take a lot of energy out of me." I said.
"We will take care of you and bring you home." Gamora said as I carefully took the Reality stone out of the glove, and it hovered a foot away from me.
"Thank you." I heard the Stone say before I raised my hand. I tilted my head to the side and everyone went behind some rocks for cover before I let out a slow breath, than allowed my powers to start blasting the stone. I watched for the next few minutes the stone crack before it exploded into nothing, but leave behind a powerful blast. I fell back from it, making everyone look at me with worry.
"I'm fine!" I yelled before I plucked the Power Stone out of the glow, hissing as the stone slightly burned my hand before I got it to float a foot away from me.
"Goodbye, Sister." The stone whispered in my head before I started to blast the stone. I noticed that it was cracking I used my other hand, and upped the force until cracks started to appear but it exploded, much like the Reality Stone, but sending me straight into a rock. I crumpled to the ground seeing black spots, sore, tired and completely drained. I could feel hands on me, and dull voices before I saw Carol.
"You did good, Space Stone. The others are flying back, but we're using the Bifrost to get you home. I'm going to pick you up, okay." She said and I carefully nodded, before she carefully scooped me up, and started to walk. She covered my eyes some, and I felt the power of the Bifrost fall on all of us. It was a blur, before i dully watched as Carol quickly ran in, being careful not to hurt me already more, when I was lowered to a bed. I could hear several people talking loudly, and feel their worried glances before dad's face came into view.
"We did it, dad." I got out softly before I blacked out.
When, I came to I could feel someone holding my hand and arm up. I slowly turned to see that it was dad holding my hand between his two.
"You gotta stop doing this to me, Penny. Please, wake up." He said softly.
"I'd kill Thanos for a cheeseburger." I got out and dad turned to look at me, then let out a wet laugh, before he kissed my hand, carefully stood up, brushed my hair out of my face and kissed my head.
"You really need to stop doing this to us, Pen. My heart can't take it." dad said.
"I'm sorry." I said softly and he let out a slow breath.
"You did something to my head, that would let me know you were alive, and that Thanos was dead, didn't you?" He asked and I nodded slowly.
"I'm sorry. I know how you feel about me using my powers like that, but I knew it would be the only thing that would keep you relatively sane. I didn't want to, but the dreams just got worse and worse. More so, since he had two of the stones. I just couldn't sit on the sideline waiting until he came to Earth. I just couldn't. Not with what I saw. Not with what I would have lost. Not who and what I would become. I just couldn't." I said with tears falling out of my eyes.
"I'm not telling you to stop being who and what you are. I guess that's the one thing you inherited from me. The selfless need to help others, before ourselves. Anyway, how you feeling?"
"Hungry, stiff, drained mainly." I said and he nodded.
"We'll get you some food shortly. Also, I can imagine you are drained. Point Break, Reindeer Games, and Space Cap said you destroyed two Infinity Stones. Not one, but two. You did something not even a God could do." Dad said.
"They aren't technically gods. They can still die, it's just. A lot harder." I said
"Touche." Dad said before changing the subject as I ate a few crackers. A week later, I was discharged from the Med Bay, and I had to sit through a lecture from Steve before everyone celebrated over the defeat of Thanos.
"Ready for your first day, of school?" Harley asked me, as he drove us to school a month later.
"Is anyone really, ready for school?" I asked and he carefully looked at me, then back to the road.
"Drink your damn coffee." Harley said and I stuck out my tounge before I did. I looked out the window, when we pulled up to Midtown, to feel like everyone was looking at me.
"Hey, you got this, Pen. Sure you can protect yourself, but you still have me."
"Thanks, Harley." I said with a smile.
"Anytime, now come on. My friends really, want to meet you. Remember, you spent the last three months after your coma, recovering from the car accident, and all the pictures that were taken of you with brown eyes, you were wearing specially made contacts, from being bullied in the past of two different eye colors." Harley said and I nodded.
"I know. Just mentally freak out loudly if I stray though."
"You got it. Come on, shortie." Harley said as he got out. I opened my door and stood up.
"Fuck you, asshole!" I said causing him to laugh, before we started to head in, me ignoring everyone looking at me, until Harley led me over to four people.
"Sup, Harley." Three of them said, then turned to look at me.
"Guys, this is my sister, Penny. Pen, this is Ned Leeds."
"Hello!" Ned said with a bright smile.
"Ned's girlfriend, Betty."
"It's nice to meet you, Penny."
"And this is Susan."
"Heyo." Susan said.
"It's nice to meet you all." I said.
"Where's Michael?" Harley asked.
"He's getting chewed out by Ms. Strickland, again with Flash." Betty said.
"Michael flipped him off and called him a mewling quim. Whatever that means." Ned said and I laughed at that.
"I know what it means. It means whining cunt." I said and that made the others laugh.
"Sorry. Got chewed out again by Ms. Strickland." A new voice said and I turned some, to see a new face.
"We know." Ned said.
"Hey, Michael. This is my sister, Penny. Pen, this is Michael." Harley said and Michael looked down at me, with a blank face.
"Welcome to hell and the Loser but more real people Club. Everyone else here are assholes, fake, two faced, useless, or I don't give a shit to label them, into a category. A warning about Flash. He's an asshole who thinks he's the shit." Michael said.
"So a Fuckboy, who thinks his parents money will get him anything and everything?" I asked.
"Exactly that. If you bring him a down a peg, as a Stark Heir, take a picture of his face if I'm not there, so I can add it to my Crisses notebook." he said then he just barely tilted his head to the side before he looked down at his watch.
"Bell's going to ring. Later, losers." Michael said before he walked away.
"He might seem cold, but he cares about us in an odd way, but it suits him." Harley said and I nodded before I was shown to my locker, then my class.
"Miss Stark, what do you think of Spider-Man? Do you think he's a Menace or a Hero?" Ms. Strickland asked me, as the class had a full debate on him, making everyone turn to look at me.
"Ya, I wanna know her opinion on him as well, as she is Iron Man's daughter." a few people muttered.
"I don't have anything to say about Spider-Man, as I haven't looked much into him. I was more worried about my recovery than obsessing over this Spider-Man. Give me a week, and I can give you an actual opinion on him." I said and everyone seemed bummed out over what I said, while Ms. Strickland seemed to analyze me.
"At the end of the week. No less and no more." Ms. Strickland said and I nodded before I turned my attention back to my notebook, where I filed out the rest of the questions. Over the course, of the rest of the day, I listened out for everyone talking about Spider-Man, until Harley was driving us home, where I looked over news articles about Spider-Man.
"I see, you found your new obsession." Harley said.
"He was brought up in Ms. Strickland's class. Seemed like I bummed my classmates out, for not having an opinion on him." I said with an eye roll.
"To be fair, you were focusing on your recovery." Harley said.
"That's what I said. So I was given until the end week, to get an opinion on him. So far, he doesn't seem like a bad person, just highly undertrained." I said.
"Ya, he could use some training. Think we can find him before dad and the others?"
"Hell ya, I do." I said with a smirk. We got to the garage of the Tower, then headed up, where we saw Dad and Pepper sitting in the common room.
"How was school?" Dad asked.
"Same as always, dad." Harley said as he fell onto the couch.
"Kind of boring, but I made friends, so that's a plus." I said as I fell onto the other couch.
"That's good to hear. Anything exciting happened?" Pepper asked.
"Not really. There's talk about a field trip but nothing in stone as of yet. Pen and I already have most of our homework done, anyway." Harley said as he turned the t.v on, to the news, where the reporter was talking about Spider-Man.
"I want to know who this Spider-Man is. What is story and m.o. Is." Dad said.
"VIP access concert tickets to Five Finger Death Punch, Pen and I can find out who he is quicker than you, the others and SHIELD?" Harley asked.
"No visions." Dad said as he looked at me.
"Deal." I said.
"Your on, Old Man." Harley said making dad let out a scoffing noise, that made Pepper hide her laugh, before Harley and I went to our lab after shaking hands with dad. We were three hours into our research when our music was turned down, making us turn to see Pepper.
"Go wash up, it's time for dinner, then you two will finish the rest of your homework. Then, maybe I'll give you another hour in here before bed." She said.
"Yes, Pepper." We both said before we quickly saved everything and than ran out.
Three days later, I watched a clip of Spider-Man being punched in the face as I waited with Harley for the others to arrive, when Michael walked up.
"Morning, Losers." he said and I noted the makeup around his eye.
"Morning. What's with the makeup?" I asked and he opened his locker.
"Neighbors kid, was throwing a temper tantrum, and threw the ball. I happened to get hit." he said.
"Hm. You blended it in wrong. Bring it out and give it to me." I said as I held out my hand. He dug it out of his bag and sat it in my hand. I waited patiently as he put everything up, then turned to me. I nodded to an empty classroom and we walked in. he sat down and I gently tilted his head up, to get better lighting on his eye.
"You are a good liar, Michael, I'll give you that but you can't lie to me." I said as I opened the concealer.
"I've grown up with Black Widow in my life, since I was fivish, when I still lived with my mom. I can see through a lie." I said.
"What happened to your mom?"
"Car accident. Head on collision. She died on the spot, while I got minor injuries, as I was in the safest spot in a SHIELD vehicle."
"Your mom was an Agent?"
"Yes, and a Chemist. But that's not the point. You are a decent lair, but your lies don't work on me, Spider-Man." I said softly and he stiffend.
"Please don't rat me out to SHIELD. I can't be arrested." He said.
"Relax. I have the Director wrapped around my finger. Besides if anything, Fury will give you training and put you on my team." I said and he raised his free eyebrow.
"Your team? You gonna be the next Iron Man or something?"
"No. Harley is." i said as I finished his eye, closing the concealer and handed it back.
"I don't follow." Michael said and I snapped my fingers, instantly transporting us to Xander.
"Welcome to the planet Xander, home of the Nova Corp, and one of my many allies." I said and a Corp Soldier stopped and slapped his fist over their heart.
"Welcome back to Xander, Celestia. Shall I report to the Commander you are here?" He asked and I sent him a kind smile.
"That won't be needed. I'm only here to prove my point, to my friend here. We must go now, but do tell the Commander I said, hello."
"As you wish, Celestia." He said before I snapped my fingers, bringing Michael and I back to the empty classroom once more.
"Holy shit."
"All questions will be answered later, but this doesn't leave this room." I said and he nodded before we left. Hours later, Michael frowned as he looked at his phone.
"What's up?" Harley asked.
"My Aunt is hosting some of her friends today and I don't want to be around them, but I have nowhere to go, since the cafe I usually go to, is under construction."
"You can hang out at our place for awhile. Pepper is forcing dad to go to meetings all day and the others are away." Harley said as he messed with his phone.
"Wait isn't today the meetings with Dr. Pym?" I asked as I also pulled out my phone.
"No, those are next weekend, so you could sit in. Today's the meeting with Dr. Williams." Harley said and I nodded before we changed the subject.
"So, Miss Stark. What is your opinion on Spider-Man?" Ms. Strickland asked me, making everyone stop to look at me.
