It spent two weeks since the milkshake accident, two weeks that Briar and Myles haven't seen each other. Myles left the job and is now trying to produce music but he hasn't inspiration at all. Briar is the only thing that comes to his mind.
Briar too, she's thinking about him day and night, including, and even more when she's working at Juicy Shop. She used to work with Myles but now she's alone. Mary and John can al see Briar's sadness, she's always in her mind, sad and not motivated.
If only they could do something...
Myles makes Briar happy and she makes him happy, they can't live without each other, they are meant to be, if only they could just talk to make up the things.
Mary: John, we have to do something
John: What do you mean honey?
Mary: About Briar, we have to do something to make her happier, we can't let her like that, she isn't motivated at all
John: Yeah, I might have an idea!
Mary: Really?
John: Yeah! I'm the boos after all!
John and Mary find a plan to "make Bryles again". First of all, they make Briar do extra hours the whole week, "to make up her mistake" said John, but actually, THEY would make up Myles' mistake! You'll see it! Trust me!
It's a normal evening in Juicy Shops and Briar is still cleaning the bar because she has to do extra-hours:
We can say by her facial expression that she isn't in the mood. She would like to stay at her house and watch TV instead of doing extra hours at work. Briar is cleaning the bar when the door opens
Briar: Sorry we're closed... Myles?
Myles, after listening to John and Mary's advice, enters the bar without saying a word and he helps Briar cleaning. He takes a cluster and they both clean, in silence.
A few minutes later, they finish cleaning the café.
Briar: Thank you, Myles.
Myles: No problem
Briar: I'm sorry, I have been rude to you and said words that I don't mean
Myles: You don't have to. It was my entire fault. I'm the one who has to apologize. Briar, I'm sorry.
Briar: Thanks, I really appreciate it
They finish to tidy up the chairs and Briar inviting Myles to sit next to him
Briar: Myles, be honest with me, why did you come here to work?
Myles: To be honest, that day, my mom told me to find a part-time job and when I met you, I wanted to spend more time with you so I thought I could work here
Briar: Alright, can I ask you what do you do in life?
Myles: Well I got graduated and now I try to live from my passion: producing
Briar: Music?
Myles: Yes! I'd love to be a music producer, it's my dream!
Briar didn't know about that, Myles isn't that bad, not bad at all! He's just a young adult fighting for his dreams
Briar: Don't worry! I'm sure one day you'll make your dream come true!
Briar says putting her hand on his.
Myles: Briar, I've always been honest with you, I love you
Briar: I love you too
They are seated, hands into hands, in the dark, and about to kiss when Mary comes into the café, making them jump and stand up
Briar: Hum... hi Mary!
Mary: What's up?
Myles: I'm sorry, I got your message and came here, I thought you'd be here
Mary: Don't worry, I'm not my husband! I called you because I knew that our little Briar will also be here
Briar: What's up with me?
Mary: Well, with my husband, we decided that if you two wanted it, Myles could work with us again and you two, love birds, could still hang out together! What do you think?
Briar: I'd love that! Myles! Please!
Myles: If you ask me like that... yes! Of course yes! I'm back at Juicy Shop!
Mary: Welcome back Myles! We've missed you!
Myles: Me too!
Briar: Me too!
Mary: Well now you can go, I'm gonna close the shop, see you guys tomorrow at 9 am!
Myles: I'm so excited! Thank you so much! See you!
Briar: See you!
Briar and Myles leave the café really happy to be together again
Briar: Myles, I really love you. You came to my life like a hurricane, changing it but in a good way. I know, we had a little argument but it only makes me realize how much I love you!
Myles: Briar, I love you so much! You're so sweet, so helpful and I love being with you, I don't know what to say...
Myles grabs Briar's waist and kisses her softly and with a lot of passion. They keep kissing for seconds, they are just in love! Myles will protect her love for a long time because Bryles is meant to be!

Last thing! I'm thinking about a new idea for a one-shot and I wanted to ask you if you rather read Oneshots with only 1 part of several parts?
I rather the 2nd option because I can do cliffhangers (😈) and have more of your reactions... but sometimes I find them too long... idk! For information, this part has 1K words... what do you think about it? I know, I'm asking a lot of writing advice but I think it's pretty important! I mean, have ideas is good, but knowing how to make you love them is harder! So much harder! 😂😂
