Hayes's POV
"Uh.. w-what's that supposed to mean? For my own safety?" I asked. Adrian looked down for a second then back up at me.
"I uh... I had gotten involved in some bad stuff with some bad people and they said that if I didn't do what they told me to do..... they'd.... they'd kill you. That's why I had to leave" Adrian said. I covered my mouth, shocked to hear what he just said.
"Oh, my god" Colby said. He looked at me and got a little closer.
"Are you alright?" Colby asked me. I cleared my throat and nodded slightly.
"Y-Yeah. Yeah. I'm alright"
"Um.... so... I can see that this is a big shock. Let's do something to take our minds off of it, huh?" Adrian said. I nodded my head again and Colby said yes.
"Do you wanna go to Domino's pizza and get three pizzas?" Adrian asked. I immediately got super excited cause I love pizza so much.
"YES!! LET'S GET PIZZAAAAAAA!!!!" I yelled excitedly. Adrian and Colby laughed a bit.
"Colby, do you wanna come too?" Adrian asked Colby.
"I'd love to" Colby said, flashing a friendly smile at Adrian.
"YAY!! Two of my favorite boys are getting along!!" I said jumping up and down and clapping. They both chuckled.
"Well, let's go already!" I said impatiently.
"If you wanna go you should probably put on some pants" Colby said laughing.
"You don't have any pants on? Why don't you have any pants on young lady???" Adrian asked. I stuttered for a few seconds then finally knew what to say.
"Ehh not relevant! I'm gonna go get dressed!" I said really quick. I bolted upstairs before Adrian could say anything to me.
Oh, god! If he found out about Colby and I he would kill us both!..
