Wedding.

Part 1.

Friday, 9:02 am.

Cullens' house.

Dema was sitting on a chair, hugging her knees to her chest, as she waited for Alice to finish Bella's makeup. At the moment, she was only wearing a bathrobe, similar to Bella's. Her navy blue dress hung on the back wall, right besides Bella's bridal gown.

She gazed into her own reflection in the mirror in front of her. Her eyes traveled from her messy, long hair, to her bite marks on her neck. She absentmindedly covered a few of them on her right side with her fingers. She smiled, remembering what Jasper had told her just a few months prior.

She stared at the mirror covering one of the Cullens' back walls. Her eyes traveled from her wrists to her shoulders. For the first time since she had moved to Forks, the weather was warm enough to use a sleeveless shirt. At first, she was excited she'd finally be able to enjoy the sun, but then she remembered her body was covered with scars.

She absentmindedly crossed her arms over her chest, her hands grabbing onto her shoulders to conceal even more skin. She frowned, and let her arms fall to her sides with a short sigh. Her gaze fell to the reflection of an armchair behind her, where her black jacket rested. She turned away from the mirror and grabbed the jacket, slipping it on quite quickly.

"Is it difficult?" Jasper's voice echoed through the mostly empty house.

Dema looked up, meeting his golden eyes and shimmering, porcelain, white skin. Rays of sunshine beamed across the room, reflecting on Jasper's skin with ease.

"What's difficult?" She frowned.

"To stare at a mirror and not be able to recognize your own reflection," Jasper replied, approaching her slowly. "It happened to me too. Centuries ago, of course." He stopped walking once he stood right in front of her.

"Really?" Dema looked up at him, her eyes gleaming with curiosity.

"Yes, even though I couldn't remember the feeling quite well, until now..." He frowned, his gaze getting lost in his own reflection.

Dema turned away from him, facing the mirror too. She followed his gaze, as it rested on his own arms. He had a long-sleeved shirt on, hiding his scars under the thin cloth. She noticed he slowly clenched his jaw and fists, tensing up with desperation.

She looked up at him, searching for a sign of tranquility. There was none. She slowly reached his right hand with her left hand, caressing his fist lightly before raising her fingers up to his wrist. She turned once more to the mirror, noticing he had tensed up even more.

"You might not be able to recognize who that is, staring back at you, in that mirror..." She started, her gaze dropping back to his hand as she grabbed onto his sleeve and started rolling it up to his elbow. "But, I do." She turned back to the mirror and their eyes met through their own reflections. "This is the reflection of the man I'm crazy about. At first, it wasn't like that, though. He used to annoy me, a lot, even though he was just trying to protect me. We did tend to argue a lot. But that's because he claims I'm impulsive and reckless." She caressed the bite marks on his forearm softly.

At this, Jasper raised his eyebrows with a playful smirk.

"Of course, he's right, but don't tell him I said that." He chuckled lightly, making her smile. She turned towards him, looking up into his golden eyes as she pointed at his chest. "This is the Jasper Hale I recognize. That reflection is just that- a reflection. That doesn't have your heart, your loyalty, your charm, and dashing attitude."

Jasper smiled, his hands reached to cup her cheeks and caress her with his thumbs.

"I love you." He said softly, before leaning in and kissing her lips. She immediately melted into him, kissing him back with urgency.

His hands traveled down from her cheeks, to her jaw, then to her neck, until they reached her shoulders. She shivered slightly, as she felt his cold touch on her skin. He pulled apart, and Dema looked up at him with a frown. He stepped back and pulled her jacket down and off her, then he grabbed her hand and twirled her around to face the mirror.

"You should take your own advice, Dema." He said, his cold breath brushing against her naked shoulder as he smiled at her through the reflection. "You're beautiful, and those scars will never change that. They just prove you're strong," He leaned down and kissed her right shoulder. "And brave," He kissed her left shoulder. "Reckless." He kissed her neck. "Brilliant." He kissed her jaw. "Beautiful."

Dema, with watery eyes, turned to face him slightly and connected their lips softly. Unlike the previous kiss, this was filled with sweet desire and love. Pure love.

Once they pulled apart, Jasper gave her one of those one-sided smirks he's known for. "Plus, I think the scars make you look even hotter,"

"Ditto." She smiled.

"What did I say about beauty sleep?" Alice said, snapping Dema out of her thoughts. She dabbed a beauty sponge on Bella's under eyes.

Dema turned to face Bella with slight concern. Bella did look tired, almost drained.

"Sorry, bad dream," Bella said, shrugging sheepishly.

"About what?" Dema asked, slightly concerned.

For Dema, nightmares had never been a good sign.

"Nothing major." Bella shrugged her off. "Maybe it's wedding jitters."

Dema frowned. Bella was lying, she felt it. Dema searched her brain for anything that would upset Bella right before her big day. Was she regretting her choice of becoming a vampire? Or, was she just anxious about the ceremony?

"Yeah," Dema mumbled, even though she worried about her best friend. "Maybe."

Whatever it was, Bella seemed sensitive about it. Dema decided to drop it, although she couldn't help but wonder what's inside Bella's head.

"Do you need some help?" Rosalie's voice echoed through the room. They turned towards the blonde vampire, with slight confusion and surprise. "I can do her hair." Rosalie offered, as she stood by the doorway.

"Really?" Bella asked, as surprised as Dema.

Rosalie rolled her eyes lightheartedly. "Please." She reached Alice's side. "I'm not offended by your choice of groom." She smiled softly at their reflection in the mirror, locking eyes with Bella and then with Dema. "Both of you have exceptional taste in men."

"So, it's just my plain existence as a werewolf." Dema narrowed her eyes at her.

"And my blatant lack of respect for mortality," Bella added.

"Essentially." Rosalie smiled at the two girls.

"Weddings," Alice sighed dreamily. "They bring everyone together." She smiled as she wrapped one arm around Dema's shoulders, and the other around Rosalie's waist.

Dema couldn't help but smile, as Alice pulled them together in a tight embrace. They all smiled and giggled through the slightly uncomfortable closeness.

For the first time in forever, they were all getting along perfectly.

"Can't hold it anymore-" Rosalie stepped back with a nauseous look on her pale face. "Her stench is almost unbearable!" Rosalie pointed at Dema.

"I don't smell!" Dema retorted. "You're the one that stinks! It's so sweet, it makes me gag."

"I thought we were having a moment," Alice mumbled sadly.

"Let's just avoid physical contact," Bella said, as she reached over and tugged on Dema's robe. "Let it go." She told her.

"But she-"

"No."

"But-"

"Okay!" Alice clapped her hands together. "Enough chitchat. We've got an hour until guests start arriving, so chop-chop!" Alice turned to face Dema with a mischievous grin.

"Oh god," Dema mumbled with widened eyes.

"Let's turn this little mutt into a dashing pomeranian, shall we?" Alice said with excitement.

"More dog jokes." Dema sighed. "Awesome." She added with sarcasm in her tone.

Friday, 9:52 am.

Cullens' house.

Dema stared at her own reflection once more, before huffing loudly and dropping back down on the chair.

"I look..." She started but got immediately cut off by the group of females in the room.

"Decent?" Rosalie spat.

"Gorgeous!" Alice complimented her.

"Different," Bella added softly.

"Yes," Dema mumbled. "Yes, to all of that."

"You look great!" Alice said. "I did an amazing job." She smiled proudly at her 'masterpiece' on Dema's face.

Alice had decided to go for a 'bold' look for Dema. She went for a smoky eye, with different shades of grey, almost black.

"Maybe this much makeup is not my thing." Dema shrugged. "I look like... you guys." Rosalie narrowed her eyes at the she-wolf. "Not in a bad way, though!"

"I know what you mean." Bella agreed with her. "Looking flawless was never my thing either."

"But it will be," Dema said, looking at Bella through the mirror in front of them. "An eternity of perfection."

"Yeah." Bella looked away, fidgeting anxiously with her robe. "I guess you're right."

Dema frowned, noticing Bella's sudden gloominess.

"Oh, Bells..." Dema mumbled, putting her hand over Bella's comfortingly. "I thought that's what you wanted."

"It is." Bella nodded, looking down at their hands. "It's just too much to think about right now," Bella reassured Dema with a small smile.

Dema narrowed her eyes at Bella. She knew, somehow, Bella was lying. But before she could say something, loud clicks were heard throughout the house. Dema stepped away from Bella, immediately picking Charlie's unique scent of coffee and gunpowder.

"Alice? Bella?" Renée's voice echoed through the house. Bella immediately perked up and smiled as her mother's presence became closer.

"ln here, Mom," Bella replied.

Renée came into the room a few seconds later. Everyone turned to her with a smile, expecting her reaction to Bella's wedding look. Once Renée laid an eye on Bella, she gasped and her eyes started to water.

"Oh, my gosh! You're so beautiful." Renée exclaimed, reaching Bella. Bella smiled even wider at her reaction. "Oh, honey." A tear streamed down Renèe's cheek. "Crap! My mascara." She rubbed at her cheek and under eyes.

"Mom!" Bella exclaimed jokingly.

Alice, as if on cue, handed her a handkerchief. Dema narrowed her eyes at Alice in thought. The vampire just winked at her knowingly.

"Thanks," Renée told Alice, a tinge of surprise in her tone. Although,  "Charlie, get in here." Renée turned to the doorway and called for Bella's Father.

"You sure? I don't wanna..." Charlie trailed on, as he peeked inside the room. They all giggled, as Bella gasped with delight. Charlie walks in, wearing his wedding tux. "I know. I look hot." Charlie smirked as everyone laughed.

"Hey, Charlie," Dema started. "My mother is single."

"I know that, Dema." Charlie narrowed his eyes at the young shapeshifter.

"Just in case you didn't." Dema shrugged.

"Stop, Dema." Bella sighed but laughed right after.

"Anyways," Charlie turned away from Dema awkwardly and faced Bella.

"We thought you needed something blue." Renée started with a smile.

Charlie opens the gift box containing a jeweled hair comb. "And something old. Besides your mother." Charlie said with a small grin as everyone laughed.

"Nice." Renée rolled her eyes at him bitterly.

"It was Grandma Swan's," Charlie explained as Bella picks up the comb.

"But we added the sapphires," Renée said.

"It's beautiful, you guys." Bella smiles as her eyes water slightly. "Wow. Thank you so much." She's almost speechless.

Bella hands Dema the hair comb carefully, so she can put it in her hair. Dema smiles at Bella and then notices a warning look from Alice. Dema poked her tongue out at Alice and proceeded to put it on Bella's hair.

"It's your first family heirloom," Renée explained dreamily. "Pass on to your daughter," Renée starts to cry. "...and her daughter."

Dema could've sworn she heard Bella's heart slowly breaking, as soon, Renée's hopes and dreams for Bella would get completely destroyed. Bella looked down at her lap sadly and then managed to look up with a fake smile.

"Mom, I love it," Bella said, standing up to hug her parents.

Alice immediately stops her by putting her hand between them. "Nope. No smudging my masterpiece."

"She's right." Renée agreed, nodding.

"Okay. Time for the dress!" Alice announced as she rushed to the wall where the dress was hanging. "Do you wanna see it?"

"Actually," Bella interrupted them. "I thought Dema could, maybe... help me with that."

"Me?" Dema's brows furrowed in confusion.

"Her?" Alice pointed at Dema with the same confusion.

"Yeah." Bella nodded shyly. "Just her."

"Are you sure?" Alice asked her.

"Pretty sure." Bella smiled.

"You heard the bride," Dema said with a huge smile on her face. "She wants me. The wolf with man-hands." She flaunted at Alice.

"The what?" Renée asked, frowning.

"Uh, nothing!" Bella waved her off. "It's an inside joke of theirs." She explained.

"Yeah." Alice agreed, giving Dema a warning look. "We should leave the girls to it." She nudged Rosalie to the door, as Charlie and Renée walked out of the room.

"Let's just hope the dress won't end up smelling like wet dog." Rosalie managed to say before Alice closed the door, leaving the two girls all alone.

Silence filled the room the second they left. Dema turned to Bella with a small frown.

"Why just... me?" Dema asked her. "I know I'm your favorite person ever... but I'm not much of a wedding-dress-fitter type of person."

A short chuckle escaped Bella's lips.

"I was getting kinda suffocated, to be honest." Bella shrugged. "I couldn't stand watching my mom get all kinds of excited for me. It's too much."

Dema offered Bella a halfhearted smile, which Bella returned with a small, sad one.

"Well, I'm actually glad you did it." Dema started, trying to cheer up Bella. She walked towards a couch in the back of the room and sat down. "I've been wanting to tell you a couple of things. It's kind of a little wedding present I guess."

Bella frowned. "Like what?" She approached Dema and sat by her side.

"Secrets." Dema started. "Secrets only you'll be able to keep. You're the only one safe from anyone. No one can reach into your brain. Not your bitter soon-to-be husband, or the pack, or the strongest vampire."

"What kind of secrets? Did something happen?" Bella asked. She reached into her brain to try to figure out whatever Dema could possibly be talking about. "You're freaking me out."

"Oh, it's nothing... completely bad?" Dema tilted her head in thought.

"You're asking?"

"Uh... no?" Dema mumbled, and Bella immediately frowned. "I mean, no! No, I'm not asking. It's not 100% bad. Possibly..."

Bella sighed in annoyance. "For god's sake, would you just tell me already?"

"I will, but-" Bella groaned. "Jeez, hold your horses. Let me give you something first." She said before turning towards her backpack on the floor. "How's Edward gonna stand you for an eternity, I don't know." She mumbled under her breath.

Bella scoffed. "Don't forget you're gonna be around too. I'll haunt you for all eternity as well."

Dema turned to face her and sighed. "Touché." The two girls laughed, as Bella gave Dema a quick side hug. "Okay, back to your wedding present." Bella turned to a fist-sized messily-wrapped, white box on Dema's lap.

"I thought your secret was the wedding present." Bella frowned.

"This is not just from me, though." Dema started, as she handed Bella the small box. "It's from... well, just open it and I'll explain."

Bella smiled with excitement, as she ripped it open in a second. At first, she frowned, unsure of what she was looking at. She grabbed the heart-shaped keychain and took a closer look. It was metal, rusty and red.

"Is this..." She started, as her eyes widened in realization. "My truck?" A wide smile spread on her face, as the realization hit her.

Dema nodded. "It is. After Edward took your truck away, Jasper yanked one of the doors off the truck." Bella rose a brow at her. "I told him to get a small piece, but he was afraid I'd somehow manage mess it up, so he practically took half of your truck."

"Wait, you did this?" Bella asked, surprise in her tone.

"Well, not entirely." Dema gave her a shy look. "I tried. A lot of times."

"So, Jasper was right."

"Unfortunately, yes. He's always right." Dema nodded with a tinge of embarrassment. "Either that or he's conspiring against me with the help of Alice-"

"So, who made this?" Bella cut her off, getting her back on topic. She was also partly hoping Dema would say Jacob's name.

She was looking for a sign. A sign that he still cared.

"Well, after several failed attempts, Paul took over and finished it." Bella's small smile dropped. "Or rather, made it completely by himself," Dema mumbled the last part bitterly. "So, technically, it was my idea, Jasper yanked it off the truck, and Paul made it."

"I love it." Bella sighed happily.

"You do?" Dema said, with a glint of pride in her eyes.

"Of course I do! It's perfect. The best wedding present I could've asked for!" Bella dropped the keychain on the couch before reaching over and hugging Dema.

"I'll make sure to tell Paul and Jasper you loved it," Dema said, as they pulled away from the hug. "Woah, never thought I'd say their names in the same sentence."

Bella laughed. "Alright, so, the second present?"

Dema breathed in anxiously. Her playful grin dropped, and a serious glare took over.

"Alright. So, no one knows about this. Not even the pack. I've somehow managed to keep the ability to block them off some parts of my brain. They'd kill him, and everyone, if they knew." At this, Bella's eyes widened ever so slightly.

Dema took a deep breath.

"I imprinted on Jasper, after the battle..."

Friday, 11:37 am.

Cullens' house.

Dema lightly tumbles out of the house, grabbing onto the hem of her long dress as she rushes down the stairs and towards the altar. The wedding is set to begin at twelve, and Dema was supposed to be in the altar seven minutes ago, in order to 'greet the guests', as Alice wrote down on her personal itinerary.

She quickly makes her way around the five-tier wedding cake and stops right before entering the aisle. Almost immediately gaining a few glances from the guests, she breathes in anxiously. Her gaze is traveling around her surroundings, looking for a familiar pair of golden eyes.

She smiles, once she locks eyes with him. He nods at her, with a one-sided smirk. His signature one-side smirk. He's standing by the wedding arch, talking with three unmistakably gorgeous and clearly immortal blondes.

Jealousy sparks inside her and Jasper. He's well aware of her state.

"It's just the animal inside me," Dema told herself, in a desperate attempt to calm herself down.

Ever since she phased, she had been having anger management issues. The smallest thing would set her off, causing her to phase and destroy almost everything around her. She'd be lying if she said being a shape-shifter had gone smoothly.

It was a challenge.

Being in control was difficult most days. Jasper helped her as much as he could, as he was too battling with his own control issues. But, as days went by, they realized it held a risk for both of them. A bite from a vampire would be lethal for Dema. And Dema's overall strength and heat would kill him in seconds.

One slip up could kill either one of them.

And at that moment, the prominent scent of the unfamiliar vampires didn't help. Plus, they seemed to be engaging in a quite fun little chat with her boyfriend. She clenched her fists, looking away from them. Jasper noticed this, quietly excused himself from the conversation and started heading towards her.

Once he reached her, he lightly placed a hand on her shoulder. He was well aware of her dangerous state, so he proceeded with caution. Dema didn't turn to face, she turned to face the altar with a small frown on her face.

"Who are they?" She asked, and Jasper chuckled.

"They're our cousins, from Alaska." He replied nonchalantly.

"Cousins?" Dema frowned even more as she turned to face him. "You mean..."

"Yes. We share the same lifestyle." He rolled his eyes playfully at her. "There's nothing to worry about."

Dema shook her head and took a quick glance their way. They were chatting with Esme and Alice, laughing every now and then and nodding at every few words. Dema was about to look away, when one of the blondes, the one with the hair updo, turned to face her, sending her a sharp look.

Dema had been a wolf long enough to know that look. The blonde felt threatened, and that look was meant as a warning. The vampire knew she was a shape-shifter, and she was letting her know she knew. Warning her to back off, or something bad would happen.

Dema decided to not give her what she wanted, a reaction. But, much to her dismay, Jasper noticed it too. He pushed her to the side slightly and stood protectively in front of her. Signaling one thing, and one thing only.

She is his mate. Meaning, she's off boundaries.

The blonde's sharp look fell into a confused one. Her eyes widened ever so slightly as she connected the dots. She opened her mouth, but nothing came out of it.

"Who is she?" Dema asked Jasper, as she analyzed the blonde's facial expression.

"Irina," Jasper responded as he gave Irina one last warning look. He turned to face Dema, with a small frown on his face. "She feels threatened... betrayed."

"Because of me?" Dema frowned in confusion.

"It's understandable that she despises your kind, but this is different." He explained, and Dema realized he was worried and confused. "Don't talk to them. Okay?"

"But-"

"Promise me you won't talk to them, or go near them. I don't trust her." He cut her off, with an almost desperate look on her face.

"Jasper, I-"

"Promise me, Dema." He said sternly.

Dema gave Irina one last glance before she nodded. She looked up, noticing the genuine concern on his eyes.

"Fine." She sighed in surrender. "I promise."

"Good." He smiled, slowly reaching down to connect their lips.

Then, as if on cue, Seth's thoughts flooded her mind. They were loud and clear, meaning he was close. Too close. And he wasn't alone.

Even though Eliza knew she was dating Jasper, only dating, the rest of the tribe members didn't. It was not only frowned upon but forbidden.

"Crap!" Dema exclaimed, pushing him away and running off towards the side in one swift movement. Jasper just gave her an amused glance, before shrugging it off and heading towards the altar.

She rushed down the aisle, and stopped by the wedding cake, just in time to greet her family. She mentally thanked her werewolf stamina, otherwise, she'd be panting like a dog in summer. Eliza, her mother, reached her first with a huge smile.

"You look gorgeous, honey!" Eliza hugged her. "I just can't believe Bella's getting married. Charlie must be having a fit! She's so young. Oh, but that Edward boy is so yummy-"

"Mom!" Dema narrowed her eyes at her.

"She's been talking about this nonstop." Billy Black said as Sue Clearwater pushed his wheelchair towards them. "Take her away, please." Dema turned towards him with a small smile.

"You cleaned up nice, Uncle Billy." Dema greeted him. "Oh, and I love your dress, Sue!"

Billy nodded at her with a proud smile. While Sue nodded and complimented back. Then, Seth walked up to Dema with a goofy smile.

"Oh, god." Dema gasped with delight. "You look so cute, with your little suit!" Seth rolled his eyes. She laughed at his childish reaction and pulled him in for a hug.

"Yeah, you won't be saying that later when I beat your-" Seth started, but Sue gasped, cutting him off mid-sentence.

"Seth!" She scolded him. Seth widened his eyes and flinched. "Don't you dare use that kind of language with anyone, young man!"

"Mom, I-"

"You apologize to her, right now!" Sue demanded. Seth turned to face Dema with a scowl.

Dema laughed but shook her head. "There's no need, really. That's just how we talk amongst the pack. It's not his fault. He's just heard it from the boys."

"But he knows better-"

"Let the kid be, Sue." Billy interrupted her.

"But-"

"Come on, Sue. It's a wedding! Let's take advantage of the open bar, dance all night, meet handsome gentlemen-" Eliza started with excitement.

"Eliza!" Billy snapped at his younger sister.

"Mother, stop. I beg of you." Dema said with a scared look on her face.

Eliza glanced at Sue, and the two burst out in a fit of laughter.

"Alright," Sue said after a minute. "I'll let loose a little."

The two women smiled, before heading to the open bar. Dema and Seth stared at them in horror, while Billy sighed in surrender.

"God, this is worse than I imagined." Billy started. "Eliza is an even worse influence in Sue than you, children, have ever been."

"Well, for a change, I'm glad she's having fun." Dema started. Seth gave her a knowing glance. "They both deserve it."

"Yeah. She looks happy." Seth smiled, and Dema noticed he was getting this sense of tranquility.

Dema gave him a short side-hug before facing Billy. She glanced at him questioningly.

"He really didn't come, huh?" Dema said, referencing to Jacob.

"It's... complicated," Billy said.

"I know that, but if I was able to look past that-" Dema started, hopeful that Billy would approve of Bella, unlike Jacob.

"No, we're not talking about this here." Billy cut her off with a demanding tone. "We're surrounded by them."

Dema frowned. "We're at a wedding, not a battlefield. They're not malicious like you think they are-"

"This conversation is over, Dema," Billy said, before rolling away from them.

"This is unbelievable!" She exclaimed as she clenched her fists. "He's unbelievable!"

"Well, what were you expecting, D?" Seth pointed out.

"I don't know. A mature, civil talk with a council member, who happens to be my uncle?" She scoffed with annoyance.

"That's never going to happen, Dema." Seth shrugged. "Not about this."

"What do you mean with this?" Dema rose an eyebrow.

"Pale-faces." Seth started. "They'll always be demons, who feed on the innocent and create fear. At least to the tribe, that's what they'll always be. And once Bella turns, she might as well be dead, because..." Seth sighed. His innocent nature preventing him from finishing that sentence.

"She'll become one of them. A demon." Dema finished his sentence. She glanced at the altar, where Jasper stood, lively chatting with the guests.

"And the pack won't have mercy on her," Seth added.

"Yeah." Dema trailed on, deep in thought.

Was there really no way to get through the pack? Was she destined to hide her relationship through eternity? What if they find out? Will she get exiled?

"Well," Seth said, snapping her out of her trance. "I'll go see if Billy needs help. See ya, D."

"Later, Seth." Dema waved at him, as he walked away.

Dema leaned on a white pillar by the cake, crushing a few flowers that hung from the top. She sighed with concern, as she glanced around the place. Guests walked around in awe, mesmerized by the beautiful decorations. Some hung around, chatting lively amongst each other, enjoying the light and cheerful mood of the wedding.

Dema noticed four familiar looking heads, poking around and staring at her. Her enhanced hearing came in handy in situations like this, as she quickly realized why her 'friends' stared at her and snickered amongst each other.

"-she's dating the weird-looking one-" Jessica explained.

"Jasper?" Eric asked.

"Yes, that one." Angela nodded. "I felt so uncomfortable when she told us. I didn't know how to react-"

Dema was about to turn away when they all turned back and glanced at her again.

"-I can understand Bella falling for Edward, but Jasper's so... different," Jessica said.

"I don't get what they see in them." Mike nodded.

"We're gonna end up back here in a few months, but she's going to be the one in white, I'm telling ya-" Jessica started.

Dema glanced at them, making strong eye contact with each of them. They immediately fell silent and waved. Dema waved back, with a small eye roll.

Then, Alice came rushing down the aisle. She clapped her hands twice, signaling it was time to go.

"Take a seat, people!" Alice announced, and everyone immediately filed into the aisle and started taking a seat.

Dema straightened her dress slightly, forgetting about her worries, as a warm feeling grew inside her. Bella's getting married in a few minutes, and Dema couldn't be happier for her best friend.

"Come on, maid of honor." Alice gestured for her to follow. "Bella's walking down the aisle in five- no, four- minutes."

"Alright, alright." Dema smiled. "It's wedding time, people!"

A/N.

finally, chapter 2.

Got a major writer's block around the middle, but I think I made it work at the end.

The ceremony and the party is gonna be in the next chapter, which I'm super excited about! So, I won't take as much time as I did with this one.

Anyway, hope you liked it. Kind of a filler, but I'm weirdly proud of it.

Thanks for all the love! I'm so glad so many people liked Waves so much that they even go on to read the sequel. This inspired me a lot, and I entered the Watty's for the first time ever! I only submitted Waves, of course. But I'm so thankful because without your love I wouldn't have had the guts to do it. So, yeah. Thanks.

Lots of love, brighterpizza.
