As Juvia tears poured down onto the hard marble fountain. All she wanted was to see her old friend at a pretty fancy ball. To dance and kiss him. Making him be with her forever. Though he always gave her the cold shoulder. His visits warmed her heart. Making her feel hope.
Sadly the hope she had tonight was left. She wouldn't see him. He wouldn't take her away from the horrible life she had to endure. But now she would have to for the rest of her life. As the rain came down around her making her seem like a mess lights started to appear.
She slowly lifted her head to notice the lights. Thinking they were bugs. But they weren't. The rain would ruin the bright light. But she can see them clearly. She saw that more came and she backed away as the came together to form a red-haired lady.
"Why is this gloomy rain here!? Tch." She said, mad at the pouring rain beating down on them. "You know when a fairy godmother comes usually there is none. I have no idea why this is happening now is it-" She stopped when she saw the tear stain faced girl.
Her white dress ripped from points. Her dress stained with dirt and juices poured down on her. Her hair down and in ragged curls. Her blue eyes were full of sadness and lost hope. "My dear. Who did this to you!?" She asked. As she wiped the tears away from her face.
"My step-family!! Now I can't go see Gray~Sama!!!" She cried into her chest. The woman let her eyes softened at the crying and sorrowful girl. "Shhhh. I won't let someone cry for no reason. Now tell me. What did you want to do with him tonight??? Why is tonight so important to see him??" She asked.
"Tonight... I wanted to dance with him. There's a ball. I was going to tell him I loved him!!! He made me happy when my step-family brought me to the lowest points of my life. He was always there to cheer me up but... They ripped my dress so I can't see him!!!" She said crying into herself. Hugging her knees.
She felt an arm wrap it around her as it soothed her back. "Those devils. Well then." She said getting up. Juvia's eyes opened and wonder to her. "Why don't we help you??" She asked. "H-Help me with what???" She asked.
"Help you go to the ball." The red-haired woman said and with that, the raindrops seem started to lessen.

"Where is she???" A concern prince asked. He looked around at the crowd and even people coming but none match the blue-haired maiden he so loved. "Calm down. I help you get out my boy." A blue haired man with a tattoo across his right eye said.
He banged his fist down when he looked at her step-family. "They must of left her! They could have hurt her! What was I thinking!? I should of went there and made sure she was okay. That she was coming. I should have gotten her myself!!!" He said frustrated.
Jellal, his godfather, rolled his eyes. "Half the time I wonder why I help you." He said mumbling. "Shut up now. All I wanted was tonight to be perfect for us. Now it went to waste due to those damn brats!" He said. He wasn't pleased one bit with this. Until the doors open.
He looked up from the railing to see a sight for sore eyes. Everyone started as two women entered. The lady had a big gorgeous blue ball gown, her hair up in a bun and very much styled elegantly.
Her hair sparkled and there was a beautiful white flower beaded pin in her hair to the right. Her dress was a deep sea blue. It sparkled. It had silk smoothed sleeves that went to her wrists. From the top of the sleeves was a deep blue to a white near the wrists.
The dress was like that. To the bottom it was white. It had sheer silk area with a slit. Revealing the beautiful dress. Behind her was a red-haired woman is a satin gown similar yet different. She had short sleeves and no silk sheers on her dress. Plus her dress didn't puff out like the other.
Her's was straight down. Her hair was curled and had a fairy mark pin in her hair to the left slightly above her left eyebrow. As they made they're way down the prince hurried down to meet her. As the music started again, men asked them for a dance. Which both of them turned down.
"Please dance with me my beautiful princess~" A white-haired noble said to Juvia as she tried to get away from him. Lost in the crowd and away from Erza, her fairy godmother. "P-Please... I-I'm honored but-" "Sorry pal, but she promised me her first dance, better luck next time" She gasped as she felt a hand take her waist.
Her eyes widen as she turned to stare face to face with her beloved. "I see. Well then. Good day, Prince gray." The noble said angered and fumed. "Gray~sama, my darling" Juvia started as he began to lead her to the middle of the ballroom. "Shhhh. Quiet Juvia." He said.
As a song began all men kissed the lady's hand as they started to dance. "G-Gray~s-sama... You're the prince???" She asked. He chuckled at her expression. She slowly looked away trying not to show him her flushed face. " Heh. You look so cute. I mean-" He said blushing madly.
They both stared at one and other their faces flushed. "I mean... Yeah. I am the prince. I was going to tell you tonight. I just didn't know when nor how" He said chuckling at the end. She smiled as her eyes gleamed. "It's okay my beloved! I still love you!" She said out loud.
This cause few to look like his face seem to flush more from embarrassment and the proclamation of her love to him. "J-Juvia. Keep your voice down." He said looking away. "O-Oh... Right" She said remembering what he said before in the woods.
He said he wasn't ready for a relationship. That it wasn't time. Not the perfect time anyway. He didn't want anyone to hear his confession of his love to her. "So?? Princess Lucy seems to like prince Nastu huh??" "Oh god don't get me started in flame boy and his girl!" They both laughed as the godparents looked over them.
"We did good Erza." The blue haired mumbled. She silently nodded. "Does she know?" He asked. The red-haired woman stared at him concerned. "Does she know this will all go away at midnight?? We know our magic does has its boundaries" He said.
The red-haired woman sighed and nodded. "She knows. It's sad don't you think??" "HHmm? What's so sad about love, my dear???" Jellal said going closer to the red-haired maiden. "That she may run from him due to what happened before. That she'll run. Cause she's afraid of him seeing her so horrid in a ripped dress" She muttered.
Jellal grinned. "But they won't. They'll stay together... Like us" He said. "Yeah....Jellal..." Erza said looking at the blue haired mage. They stared at each other as he backed her away from the railings to the wall. Locking her in his arms. "We shouldn't... What happened years ago..."
She was blushing like her hair. He smirked. "Do I ever listen to what happened in the past now??" He said finally shutting her up. As they made out against the wall the didn't see the couple dance their way out of the ballroom. Being happy.
As the clocked tolled 10, the prince was chasing after his blue-haired lady as she giggled frantically. She then drove to hide behind a tall green tree with a hedge to hide the puffy dress she had. "Juvia!!! Come on!!!" He yelled. His smile was apparent even if his tone didn't match it.
He was having a happy and loving time with her. He then saw a striking blue near a bush. He quietly made his way behind her. As Juvia waited for him to come so she could scare him, she started to realize it was taking awhile.
"Gray~sama???" She pecked out that's when she heard a crack behind her. She turned and "Boo!!!" Gray said as he ran, tackling her standing still to her wrapping his arms around her waist. "Gray~sama!!! Oh god!!!" She said as she started to laugh. They smiled as their laughter died down.
"Now. No more games. Follow me" He said as they made their way out of the garden to a path. "Where are we going???" Juvia asked curiously. "A secret place. Then I'm taking you inside to see a better view of the garden" He said as they started a decent down some old broken stairs.
As he carefully took her hand to make sure she didn't fall, he could feel his heart beat fast. He was falling more in love with this woman the more he stayed with her. They made they're way down to a beautifully hidden grotto.
A swing was present as well as a little pond. As fireflies flew around the flower hedges, Juvia gazed upon them. She couldn't find the words to say. It was incredible and yet so enchanting. "I came here when my mom was dead. It was really relaxing. To escape. To find peace here."
Gray smiled. "Do you ever feel alone???" "What???" The question confused Juvia. She didn't really understand why he asked it. "Do you ever feel alone??" He said again. She looked down as she stared at her hands. Clasped together remembering the harsh times alone.
"Yeah... Do you??" She asked back. He nodded lowering his head down to face the green ground. "I use to until... The day I met you..." He said turning his head to smile at her. She felt her face flush with embarrassment as he came closer grabbing her hands. He took her to the swing.
She smiled as she sat down. The only problem was her dress, but she didn't mind. "Why???" She asked looking at him as he began to swing her softly. "Why, what Juvia~???" He muttered to her. Whispering and breathing softly into her ear.
It sent chills down her spine. "Why did you not feel lonely when you met me??? I wasn't really... That helpful. I was only trying to make you smile then. I thought you wouldn't even dare to try to talk to me every single day. I mean I was so annoying." She said looking at him. He stopped the swing a little before staring down at her.
"Because. I couldn't forget how kind and sweet you were. Even when you found out I was the prince. You didn't fangirl as much as I expected. You treated me the same. The same way any human should." He muttered slowly coming down to her level kneeling beside her.
He slowly took her hand, bringing her to stand. As he moved his hands down to her waist, pressing her against his body. He slowly began to lean down. Capturing her lips. As they kissed, they parted for a few seconds. As his eyes looked into hers.
He dove down kissing her again. Her arms were wrapped around his neck as his's were around her waist. As they deepened the kiss, Gray accidentally stepped onto her dress. Causing her to when she wanted to move to almost fall.
He caught her instantly. "Let's... go somewhere else" He muttered. She just simply nodded as they made their way back to the palace.

As they entered his room, nothing seemed so different. Gray said he has a room, a large one yes but he mostly used it for practicing and also just simply have some quiet time. "Whelp, here it is" He mumbled. She couldn't help but giggle as she sat down on his bed.
"Well, it is something. It's so simple though and not as messy as I would have thought" She said. "Really? You think I would have random clothes everywhere???" He said scoffing at her.
"Gray~sama... Um... Where are your clothes now???" She said as he looked to see both his pants and shirt missing. "GOD DAMN IT!!!" He yelled. She hid her blushing face as Gray gathered his clothes and put them back on.
She glanced and notice how his abs were. She never really thought he was muscular like that. But apparently, he was and he was very much well defined. As Gray put his jacket on leaving his shirt gone, he turned to see a very red faced Juvia.
He smirked at this and went closer to her. "What? Do you like what you see Juvia?" He asked. She blushed and slowly started to back away as he made his way to her. "W-Well, I just... I just accidentally looked over and... May have noticed... H-How well you're... Abs were... I mean.." Juvia said as her back hit the wall.
As Gray leaned against the wall, his arms above the blue-haired blushing maiden. He couldn't help but chuckle at her. "Juvia. Look at me, my princess." He said. She shocked her head. "I can't... Look at you after what I said" She mumbled turning her head sideways. Gray took his hand from above and cupped her chin.
He slowly made her head look up at him as he leaned over her. As his thumb caressed her cheek as he looked at her blue eyes. "You look so adorable right now" He mumbled as a blush started to form on his checks.
"G-Gray~sama..." Juvia mumbled. As Gray began to lean down, she closed her eyes, wrapping her arms around his neck and leaned up. When she felt their lips hit each other she felt Gray's hand that was leaning him over her, on the wall fell down and went to her waist as the other stayed on her check.
As they parted their lips, Gray looked at her. She closed her eyes and hummed as she felt his hand caress her cheek softly. She opened her eyes to look at his dark ones. His lips parted slightly as his graze seemed to be glued to hers. He then took his hand from her cheek to her hair.
As he took his hand he released her hair from her bun which fell down. She blushed and tore her gaze away from him. Gray noticed and smiled, bringing his hand back to her check. Making her face go back up to him. But her eyes kept away.
He chuckled and pressed his body closer, leaning towards her ear as he breathed softly. "Juvia..." He whispered inside her ear. She blushed and closed her eyes in embarrassment. "Look at me, please... Look at me" He said. His voice sounded so quite yet still as gruffed and so deep.
She then slowly looked into his eyes. Her heart beating out of her chest. Her hands seem to fall from his neck to his open chest. Resting there as Gray's heartbeat. As they seem to be lost in their eyes, both full of emotions.
He then leaned down. Capturing her lips. As they began to kiss each other, Juvia felt her heart beat so much she might have a heart attack, while Gray felt like he was going to die a happy man any minute.
They parted only a few times when they needed to breathe, but then they went back to it. Went back to kissing.
What both remembered last was Gray and her falling onto his bed. Him on top of her.
As their lips came together one last time as they enjoyed each other that night.
