Chaudhary Niwas
In the fast paced city of Delhi, where everyone seems to be in a hurry, a family lives on low pace. They aren't backward, but they believe to walk at their own speed, and do things in their own style and way.
The bungalow is chirpy today. A young girl was instructing some people about the decorations in the house. She seems happy...
"Bhaiya, ye bandanwar pure hall mein lagana. Aur phool bhi gulaab ke hone chahiye. " she instructs.
The men smiles at her and nod in affirmation.
"Ho jayega madam , aap chinta mat kariye. "
She smiles and turns to do another task, but she's hugged by her sister...
"Aap yahan ho, main kab se dhundh rahi hoon aapko? " she complains.
"kya ho gaya Mannu? Kya nahi mil raha? " she asks.
"Jeevika beta, aapke bina Maanvi kuch karti hain kya? Inhe har cheez haath pe chahiye. Jab aap is ghar se chali jayengi, toh kya hoga? " an old lady says while walking towards the girls.
Jeevika, the elder one smiles.. "Kuch nahi hoga beeji, main mannu ko sab samjha dungi. " she says with a smile.
Maanvi hugs her sister...
"Beeji wo log abhi sirf Di ko dekhne aa rahe hain. Di abhi nahi ja rahi. " Maanvi replies while making a face since she didn't want her sister to leave her and go.
Beeji smiles and taps her cheek...
"Agar unhe teri Jeevika Didi pasand aa gayi toh? " she asks.
"Aise hi toh main unhe apni Di nahi dungi. He has to give tests. Agar wo paas ho gaye toh main di ko jaane dungi unke sath. " Maanvi says while hugging her sister.
Jeevika smiles at her sisters words.
"Pagli! Aisa kaun karta hai? "she asks.
"Kisi ne nahi kiya toh kya hua? Main karungi! Aise hi thodi kisi se bhi apni Di ki shadi karva dungi. " Maanvi replies clinging on her shoulder.
Jeevika shakes her head. She knows she can't stop her little one from doing what she has already decided. She looks at Maanvi.
"Aise vaise log nahi hai wo. They are the most reputed family of Delhi. Tu kuch ulta seedha mat karna unke Saamne. Samjhi! " jeevika explains to Maanvi.
"Di abhi toh aapne unhe dekha bhi nahi, aapko unka naam bhi nahi pata, aur aap abhi se unki tarafdaari kar rahi ho! " Maanvi replied making a face.
Jeevika, Beeji and other elders laugh at her.
"mannu tu jeevika ko taiyar hone mein madad karde. Wo log time ke punctual hain. " Beeji says .
"yes yes! Main Di ko aisa taiyar karungi, ki mere hone wale jeeju, unhe dekhte hi reh jayenge. " Maanvi giggles, while Jeevika blushes a little. Maanvi hugs her and takes Jeevika along with her to make her ready.
Vadhera House
A young guy os sitting in his room. He isn't ready yet and is lost in his thoughts. His younger brother comes in the room and exclaims on not finding his elder brother not ready.
"Bhai!!! " he shouts making the latter jump on his seat.
"kya hua Viraat? " he asks.
"Bhai! We're going to see a girl for you. Aur aap ho ki ready bhi nahi hue. " he says excitingly.
"Kitne baje jaana hai? " the elder one asks.
"Viren beta! " a lady enters in the room.
"Maa, aap hi bolo bhai ko... He isn't ready yet. " Viraat saus turning to their mom.
Their mother, Sandhya moves to him...
"Kya baat hai Viren? " she asks her son.
"Mom! Ye shadi.... " he speaks but pauses.
"Shadi hui nahi hai bhai, abhi hum sirf bhabhi ko dekhne ja rahe hain. " Viraat comments.
Viren glares at his younger brother...
"I mean, agar wo aapko pasand aa gayi toh wo meri bhabhi hi banegi na! " Viraat says teasingly.
Sandhya smiles and cups Viren's face...
"Main jaanti hun beta, tu kya soch raha hai. Par ye rishta tere dadaji laaye hai. Ek baar mil le beta. Tera jo faisla hoga, we will go by it. " she tries to explain.
"Yes bhai, waise Maine suna hai wo bahut sundar hai. Aapko achi lagegi wo. Chalo get ready. "viraat says while side hugging Viren.
"Haan beta, chap ready ho ja. Dadaji tum dono ka wait kar rahe hai. Jaldi karo beta. " she says and leaves the room.
Viren sighs deeply. Viraat side hugs him.
"Don't worry bhai. Sab waise hoga jaise aap chahte ho. Bas you have to do things for family. Aap hi Kehte ho na? " he said.
Viren smiles lightly.
"Haan! Tu ja, main taiyar hoke aata hoon. " he says.
Viraat smiles and leaves the room, while Viren starts getting ready, thinking about the girl, he is going to meet.
