Hermione was frozen in her chair now. She was thankful that no one but she and Draco were in the classroom yet.
As soon as Draco had said those three words, Hermione stood up and threw her arms around his shoulders, hugging him tightly.
"Thank God! I was truly getting worried that we wouldn't feel anything for each other. So...what do you feel for me?" She smiled into their hug
"Well, I don't really know how to say this. I've never dated anyone before..." He says, rubbing his neck
"I'll say it for you then...Draco Malfoy, do you want to be my boyfriend?"
"I guess?"
"So, how does this dating thing work?" Draco asked her
"Well...it's different with everyone. We'll learn together." Hermione smiles
"So, how about we start with the normal couple-y stuff that I see Potter and Weaslette doing? May I have your hand?" He smiles
"Don't call them that! But yes, you may." Hermione clasps her hand around his
Their hands fit perfectly together like they were made for each other
Hermione knew they were probably moving fast...but they had to get married soon anyway, so why not move fast? She knew she liked Draco.
He was always so smart and strong. She actually had a crush on him in her second year but couldn't say anything because of her friends and because of the things he said about her. So, for her, the feelings had always been there. They were just buried deep down inside of her, the war covering it up in the rubble.
Yes, he had said things as a child that truly hurt her, and maybe it was wrong for her to feel this way as a kid being bullied, but she knew deep down that he didn't truly feel that way. It was just his parent's beliefs being pushed onto him.
Everything moved so much faster when you didn't have to develop feelings for someone. She also knew they would end up together no matter what. So there was no real fear that it wouldn't work out. They were apparently destined to be anyway.
Hermione and Draco stared at each other for a while, just smiling at their new title together. Soon, their classmates started filing into the classroom and they straightened up, not wanting to draw too much attention to either of them. Ginny strolled into the classroom, immediately taking a seat at the desk next to Hermione and Draco's desk.
Placing her bag on the table, she looked over and noticed how close Hermione and Draco were sitting together. Too close for her liking. Something was going on with them. And Ginny was determined to find out all of the details.
"Hey, 'Mione!" Ginny says to her friend, making her jump
"Oh! Hi, Gin. I didn't even realize you sat down." Hermione blushes
"I could tell. You seem to be in your own world." She smirks, knowing something was up
"Sorry, I was daydreaming..." She drifts off
"So. What's new with you? We haven't really had the chance to talk in a while."
"Oh, nothing much. Same old, same old." Hermione tightens her hand around Draco's. Although they were now dating, she didn't know if she was ready for anyone to find out. It hadn't even been two months since they were sorted together!
"Hi, Draco. Hope you're having a nice day." Ginny says, pushing both of their buttons. She was a determined girl
"Hello, Ginny. I am, thank you." Draco says, incredibly awkward.
This whole situation was awkward.
Draco wanted to disapparate
"Alright. You two are acting very strange and I wanna know what's up. I'm tired of dancing around the question." Ginny says finally getting annoyed
Other students were starting to pour into the classroom
Hermione blushes and looks and Draco, silently asking if it's okay to tell her
"Well, Gin...I guess we're dating?" Hermione says, holding up her and Draco's intertwined hands
Ginny's mouth falls open in shock, which is then followed by a squeal.
"I knew it! Harry and I made a bet on how long it would take you two to get together...and I won! Oh, I'm very happy for you both by the way." She giggles
Seconds later, Harry walks in and sits right next to Ginny.
"What did I miss?" He asks, knowing by all of their faces that something important had happened
"I won our bet. Pay up." Ginny smirks
\\~//
"So wait, Hermione asked you to be her boyfriend? Not the other way?" Harry laughs
"He was too shy to ask me." Hermione giggles
"You're kidding me. Draco fucking Malfoy...too scared to ask Hermione Granger to be his girlfriend. No, I don't believe it." Harry laughs, booming throughout their common room
"What's going on out here?" Ron comes out of his room, shaking his red hair
"Oh nothing, we're just discussing how Draco was too scared to ask Hermione to be his girlfriend, so she did it for him." Ginny giggles
"You guys are dating?" Ron asks, extremely shocked
He thought Hermione would have held off a little bit longer until she was forced to actually marry the bugger.
He almost thought he could still have a chance.
He understood now, that he didn't. He needed to accept that he would have to marry Pansy...as much as he really didn't want to. Maybe he would one day?
He hoped so for his sake. He didn't want to be alone and sad for the rest of his life.
"Yeah. Just today." Hermione answers him finally, and very cautiously
So he pushed out his next sentence, "That's great!"
"How are you and Pansy?" Hermione asks him
"Weird. She's so bossy. I guess I want to make this work...it's just hard." He sighs, finally sitting down on one of the many couches
"Ron. It's never going to work with her if you don't even try. I haven't seen you try at all." Hermione sighs
"I have, too!" He defends himself
"Really? What's her favourite colour? What's her favourite food? Favourite spell? When is her birthday?"
"Okay...maybe I haven't," Ron says sheepishly, rubbing his neck awkwardly
"So what are you gonna go do?"
"Talk to her...Try." He sighs, getting up from his seat and walking over to their room

Walking into their shared room, Ron finds Pansy sitting on her bed, reading a book.
Does she like books?
"Hey, Pansy..."
"Ron." She replies, keeping her eyes trained on her book
"I figured we could get to know each other?"
"You're not going to leave me alone...are you?" She sighs, closing her book and putting it next to her on the bed
"What did you want to know?"
That was easy
"Um... what's your favourite colour?" He asks
He hadn't thought this far ahead. He was just going to ask her what Hermione had asked him
"Navy blue... what's yours?" She asks
"Orange."
"Orange? Seriously? Why?" She asks
"I dunno. Just is. Moving on...What's your favourite food?"
"I can tell this is going to go on for a while...isn't it? I love Bangers and Mash...especially with parsnips." She tells him
"I want this to work, Pansy. And to make it work, we have to know each other. Bangers and Mash is the best! But, Bacon is better." He smirks
They continue conversing until it's dinner time and they're both hungry. They were already getting closer.
This marriage law had certainly been moving fast...in everyone's relationships...and in time. It was the end of November.
Meaning it was almost winter holiday.
Which also meant, they would all probably be wed soon. Whether they liked it or not.

LONG AUTHORS NOTE AHEAD!!!
ALRIGHT!
I know it seems like the relationships are moving fast, but they kind of half to...I mean...They all have to be married to each other soon...a lot sooner than they realize.
THIS IS A FAST PACED STORY!
But first...
First comes a ring and proposal (which I have no idea when that will be...)
then comes wedding planning (DON'T FORGET THE DRESS!!)
then comes the actual wedding...
So I kinda have to make it move fast, plus they are all meant to be (according to the hat) so they're catching feelings a lot quicker than normal couples.
Hope that clears some things up.
THIS IS NOT EDITED SO I'M TERRIBLY SORRY IF THERE ARE ANY TYPOS!
The past two chapters have sucked and I'm sorry...but I have finals next week so after that...there will be longer, better, and MORE chapters!!!
Looking forward to it
