Space Station Unity Dawn
Max POV
When Mia return from her trip, I knew something was not right. Her google strap was ripped, her body armor has taken damage and have cracks on them, but the clearest evidence of them all was that she acted serious. Mia is never serious so something bad really happened. She told me what happen on the ground about being caught and fighting the same people who chase her when collecting the samples. I told Mia to get Nova and go to the bridge while I carry some solar panels and the translator I been working on.
When I arrived at the bridge, I set the solar panels and the translator on the desk while waiting for them to arrive. Not long after, both Mia and Nova enter the room...while...eating...food. I just look at them with dumbfound face. Nova then tosses me a bag and a drink. After out little snack break, we begin the meeting.
"Alright Max, I am here. What seems to be the problem?"
Before I give her the bad news, I got to tell her my progress.
"Well I finished the solar panels and the translator you requested. Had enough parts for the three of us."
I can see a sigh of happiness and a smile on her face. Sadly, I have to tell the bad news.
"The bad news the solar panels, I had to take apart from the others solar panels. So, I just have enough to solve out power problem if we make a few changes."
She seems unaffected by this news.
"So, what do we need to sacrifice to keep the power at normal levels? Turning off our lights, our heat, or something else?"
"Yes, yes, and maybe. Got to shut off the power in all areas of the ship beside my work station, the teleportation pad, and your lab. Another note is we have to turn off the heat in all area of the ship or lower the temperature, so we will need jackets. And we might have to sacrifice some air to install them outside or else they might not work."
I can see Nova is considering the options while Mia have her head down trying to be invisible.
"Very well, do what you must but do not take unnecessary risk."
With everything that I needed to say got spoken, I turn my head to Mia. She was looking down at first then turn her head towards Nova.
"Nova...I been spotted."
"I should have known this will happen, but I am glad you are safe Mia. Just be careful next time."
I just stood there speechless as I though Nova was going to kill her. Mia began to explain what happen when she was savaging in the city. Mia then had a bright Idea to use one of the monitors to get any broadcast if they have any. After a few minutes, we got signal of a broadcast of some sort. We all grab the translator and equip only the hearing piece to our ears. When a picture of a short white and pike squid and a tall black and green octoling follow by music, we all sat still and waited to see what happen.
"Y'All know what time it is!"
"It's OFF The Hook, coming at you LIVE from Inkopolis Square!"
"Yo Marina lets do our boys a favor they ask us."
"Oh, right. Everybody, apparently there is a dangerous person out there and the police ask us to spread awareness. Peral do you have the picture they send us?"
"You know it. BOOM."
Then a picture showed up at the screen. I knew it was a picture of Mia, but it was heavily blurred and zoomed in almost as if they are trying make it clear but failed. I can see green lights emitting from her night vision googles but other then that, its just a shadow.
"If you see anything like this, stay away from it and call the number below."
"Marina they're not that stupid but like my partner said, call the number below and scram. Now we got that out of the way, lets announce the stages for today."
Nova lower the volume from the monitor and turn her head towards me. I can tell she is in a good mood. Probably because the picture was beyond recognizable and couldn't lead to us... I hope.
"When can you get the solar panels installed?"
"After I sleep I can get on it right away."
"Not good, get it installed right now while I will get started translating this book right away."
I didn't know what books she was talking about, but I know we needed to rest.
"Nova translate after you rest."
"Nonsense I am perfectly fine."
I can see she is becoming defensive.
"Nova it's been 4 days since all of us sleep. I'm not giving you an option, I'm telling you."
Nova got up from her chair and got up close to my face. Somehow, I can feel the rage emitting from her almost as if she is about to kill me.
"You cannot tell me what to do now go install the solar panels before we-"
Before I knew it, Nova fell to the floor and Mia making a fist gesture behind her.
"Go to sleep."
Every day, Mia find way to make lives easier or harder on us. "Mia you do know she will kill us and thank you."
"Good night."
"Before you sleep, take her to one of the medical beds."
Mia then began to carry Nova over her shoulders and walk out of the room. I turned off everything in the room and walk back to my work area. As I got to my work area, I saw a case of tools. Since there was no rust on them, I figure that Mia must have got them when she was getting food. It was a bit too small for my hands, but it was better than the rusty tools we have. I turn off the lights from my work station lab and use one of the small rusty toolboxes as a pillow and lay down on the floor that was slanted as a walkway for the handicap. After not sleeping for so long, something as hard as metal could be comfortable as a cloud during spring. There was something that is blocking my mind from drifting to sleep. It was honestly making me frustrating that something so simple could affect me this much.
"What did she saw down there?"

Meanwhile at agent's HQ
Agent 4 POV
Its have been about eight hours since Callie began translating what the human said. After they are finishing deciphering, they called all of us to meet at the base for a meeting.
As usual, Three and Eight showed up together follow by Pearl and Marine. Both Marie and I were already at the base waiting. When everybody showed up, Calie began to talk.
Callie: Gramps and I have finish translating what it said. But I don't think you'll like it.
She turns her head towards Three almost as if she implying to her. I can see that Three is starting to get anxious.
Three: Well...what did it say?
Callie: This human said it when you first encounter it. NOT ME. And I quote "Miss me miss me, now you got to kiss me" End quote.
I can see that Three was confuse at first until her tentacle's turns bright red.
Three: I KNEW IT WAS TAUNTING AT US!!!
Before long, Eight tried to calm Three down. And Callie inform us that there are two more translations left.
Callie: This one came from Four recorded. I think it's when you were are fighting it. And It quote "Your face reminds me of my brother. I wish I have a chance to say I'm sorry, but I know that he is long gone. I do hope he forgives his idiot sister." End quote.
They all looked at me in silent. Understandably too. I knew I had to break the silent.
Four: So, is there another one?
Everyone looks at Callie in silent
Callie: Yes, and It's the last one. I believe it's from when all three of you were together for this. It was a bit hard to hear and I had to triple check it but it's almost accurate. And it quote "I can't fail, I can't fail, we need those food. If I fail, we'll starve. I'll get it no matter the cost." End quote.
I knew it. It was hungry, but nobody believed me. As I was talking to myself, Three began to speak up.
Three: The human said "we" there might be a chance that there are others.
Pearl: So, what if there more than one. we'll kick their buts without a sweat."
Marina: Peral you did know that they got their buts kick, and Four almost lost his life, right?
There was some bickering between everybody in the room, but it was saddle when Three began to voice her option.
Three: Well with this we found out a few things, first we know it's not on Octavio side. Second, we might be able to bargain with it to join our side. I know the human we fought have enough combat experience to fight all three of us and nearly killed Four, and that when it was tired and starving.
Everybody is agreeing with what Three is saying. I would be lying if I disagree with her. Octavio activity has become more and more active, and it's only a matter of time before the zapfish are taken again. Lost in my thoughts, Eight had a point that shutdown our hope.
Eight: H-how do w-we get to talk to it?
With that, everyone began to think on ways to contact the human. Then Marina brings up a very important point
Marina: Before we meet it, we always received a signal. So why don't we wait it out?
I can tell everyone dislike the idea, but we don't have another choice. Marie began to ask Callie a very important question.
Marie: I been meaning to ask Callie, where is Gramps?
Callie: Gramps said that he had a business at the deep metro, so I guess he is there at the moment?"
With this, everyone has been talking about this situation for nearly an hour before Peral began to speak up.
Pearl: C'mon Marina we got to practice for our next gig. We're going to cut it short, Later.
Just like that Pearl and Marina left the room. Soon Three and Eight have nothing left to say in the meeting and left the room as well. Both Callie and Marie went outside and relax, while since I was borrowing the bed, I might put it to use and sleep for a while. Still why do I feel like someone is still watching me. I can't be going crazy yet.

Somewhere in Octavio HQ
Third POV
In a rusty room filled with broken monitors with a few having screen glitches and radios that that cracks and missing buttons, a news broadcast of off the hook is being showed in the center of the TV that seems to be the only one working fine.
"We should report this to the commander, we may have an potential ally."
Many of the octarians are scattering all over the room collecting more evidence and planning new tactics that seems to result in capturing all the zapfish in Inkopolis along with the great zapfish.

??? POV
An old retro style TV is playing the same broadcast, the screen seems to be in a more stable state and there are no signs of damage on the TV.
"Marina they're not that stupid but like my partner said, call the number below and scram. Now we got that out of the way, lets announce the stages for today."
The TV was turned off and a man began to get off his couch and proceeded to walk to a chalkboard on the other side of the room.
???: Seems to be that we're not the only one. I wonder what kind of group it is and how to contact them." He then proceeded to uncork a bottle of vodka and pour into a shot glass. "HEY HAMAKO YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I DISCOVERED TODAY."

Howdy everyone, it has been a while. I will get straight to the point. The main reason for why I did not upload anything for a while or I hope you been wondering is because finals. I know I know its that excuse, but I am being serious it the main reason why I couldn't upload anything for a while. So, from the bottom of my heart, I hope that you could overlook this inconvenience. Also let me know if there was any problem with my writing and how I can improve it. I'm still new to this so anything helps. Until then, have some S'mores and hotdog on a stick while I continue tell stories by the campfire.
