I won't cry

I won't cry

I tell myself over and over again.

But still my eyes water

and my mouth feels like lead.

I won't cry

I tell my heart

But my mind can't comprehend

how badly I'm falling apart.

I can't cry

I tell myself once again today

but ever since you left

I just can't say what I need to say.

Maybe that's why my tears fall freely down my face.

I want to stop them

but I'll just leave it for time to erase.
