I was confused right now. What was going on, who were these guys, and most importantly, who am I? Also, how did I get here? These guys were trying to help me remember stuff all day, but I don’t think there is anything important for me to remember.
“Hey guys, if you’re trying to help me remember, then why don’t you tell me your names?”
They seemed to look like they felt really stupid; probably thinking out of all things they didn’t tell me yet, it was their names.
“Well… I’m Kyo. I came before this guy, but after you. You’ve been here for about a year and a half now, and I’ve been here for about six months.”
“And I’m Ryoma, who is also referred to as ‘this guy.’ Well… at least to Kyo. That’s apparently all I am to him.”
“Okay, so are you guy’s friends?”
They looked at each other, and then looked away, so I’m going to guess no, they aren’t friends. I sort of laughed a little, thinking that their reaction was kind of funny.
“Alright, do you guys know how I ended up here?”
Kyo and Ryoma were silent, but then Kyo looked me in the eye and told me, “Well, when I first met you, you told me you were on a cruise with your family. One night, a ton of pirates snuck onboard and took everyone hostage. You were able to escape, but before you could, your entire family was killed right in front of you.”
“Oh... I see. I still don’t remember anything, but that might help me along the way. Thank you.”
Kyo seemed to blush, and it looked really cute. I thought that was adorable, so I giggled just a little. Actually, laughing made me remember a little bit. I guess I always did like to see Kyo act that way. I thought that wasn’t important enough to tell them, so I didn’t say anything.
The guys went to bed, but I stayed up, looking at the amazing mural on the ceiling.
“Do you like it? I painted it for you before Ryoma came here.”
“Yeah, it’s amazing. You painted it? For me?”
“Yep, does it bring back any memories?”
“Not really, no. Sorry.”
“Its fine, we just have to try just a bit harder, and then I’m sure your memories will return all together.”
“Uh huh, and then everything can go back to the way things were, as soon as I remember what things used to be like.”
“Yeah, good night.”
“Night.”
Kyo and Ryoma fell asleep, and I stayed up thinking up who I was. Okay, so all I know is that my name is Sakura, I’ve been on this island for more than about a year, and I’ve been sharing this shelter with two guys named Kyo and Ryoma. Also, apparently I like seeing Kyo blush and he painted this mural of the stars on the ceiling for me. So I guess that means he likes me, because he said he painted it for me. Well, it's nice to know that I'm loved.
