this era was always one of my favourites, but it wasn't because i was unaware of all the internal conflict within the band; my dreaming mind simply decided to be willfully ignorant and put on rose-coloured glasses. i embraced all the happy parts they had shown us and didn't look any deeper. and i continue to hold onto that positivity, however much it wants me to let go, because i need it. i really need it.
