The children of God were born to soar.
Our loving God created us the children of God
To soar in the endless heavens above.
Our loving God wants us to soar in our faith
To greater new heights in our heavenward journey.
He has called us to soar in the heights of the clouds of heaven,
Yet many of us rather take up residency in
The familiar chicken coop of everyday living.
Our God did not create us to be like the grounded flightless chicken
But rather He created us to spread our wings and
For us to take flight into the high skies with endless adventurous joy!
It is time for us to fly high and leave
The all too familiar chicken coop of contentment.
Our loving God has created us to be extraordinary Christians.
He also has created us to daily soar
On the wings of faith into the limitless sky above.
If we are to truly put our trust in our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth,
We shall mount up on wings and truly soar
Like the majestic great eagles in the sky.
