A NEW SINGLE HAD BEEN PRODUCED IN THE SHARED HOME OF OLIVER AND SCARLETT. It was emotional, it had a new tone to it, and it was by far the one to make you jerk a tear or two (well, apart from ghostin, but that was made all the way back last year).
"I think everyone would really appreciate this single, Scar. They know it's real, from the heart." Oliver states, chewing on some Doritos they had found in the back of the cupboard. Scarlett nods her head, using a wipe to cleanse her face from the makeup that had been worn since this morning.
"I know. No matter how ridiculous it seems realistically to be his girlfriend -" Scarlett paused at the word, knowing the lie hidden under it and the fact that no one else knew. "I want to imagine a perfect life with him; I can! In my head me and him are the perfect couple." She rambles, stretching her body out on the sofa, hearing a crack or two from her back that was well needed.
Oliver nods in agreement, grabbing the ps4 controller from the tv and setting up a game for the two of them to play. "Sometimes that's what happens when you love someone so much. You fall in love with a version of them that you create in your head."
And Oliver was exactly right.
