LIM NARI [ FANTAGIO ] : Him being the Project Representative is crazy enough, but adding one of kpop's best dancer to the training team, this would be really pressuring!
ZHU LIKUN [ GRAMARIE ] : Both are pretty well known even at my hometown! SHINEE and other SM Entertainment artists in general are. Wow, this would be an amazing journey.

KEY [ PRO. REP ] : I'll be your national representative, or as this season prefers to call it, your Project Representative for Project Verose.
[ taemin covers his face with the card he was holding and looked back to key with a nervous smile ]
LEE TAEMIN [ P. MENTOR ] : [ whispers ] Ah, why am I here this is awkward...
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : I'll simply be someone who will reveal your rankings every evaluation, however don't call me a host, because I'm not here to just stand and talk all the time. I will also give surprise visits occasionally to monitor your progress and see if you're having difficulties with your work.
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : As an artist for almost 11 years now, I just want to say that the path you want to enter isn't as easy as you think. Your journey doesn't stop after debuting so I hope you'll enjoy the ups and downs of your progress. [ nods and scans them ]
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : There are 40 of you in front of me, but only 12 girls will be able to achieve their dreams of debuting. There are five evaluations in total in the competition, which means you have five chances in order to prove our Verose Producers that you are worthy of their vote and be a part of the 'ultimate team'.
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : To make sure you are one of those girls who will form the final group, do your best in order to be noticed by our Verose Producers who will save you. These five evaluations each emphasize a trait you'll need to learn as a 'soon to be idol'. Your mentors will be the ones to guide you in improving your abilities. Should we meet them right now?
LEE TAEMIN [ P. MENTOR ] : I mean... I'm already standing here.
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : Okay, our performance mentor, Lee Taemin, do you want to say something?
LEE TAEMIN [ P. MENTOR ] : I hope to see a lot of trainees who excel and will excel in dancing! You should always pay attention to the details. Dancing is a form of art, after all.
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : Like how?

SEO EUNKWANG [ V. MENTOR ] : Singing is one of the basic skills an aspiring idol should have. We'll make sure everyone, even the rappers, to be able to sing well.

CHA YEOREUM [ FNC ] : Okay, how were these sweethearts called "ugly" by some netizens? Before you could comment on how they look, you haters need to sing way better than them first, which is probably, duh, never.
[ all the trainees clap after each mentor introduction is finished ]
HUA LIMEI [ INDIVIDUAL ] : Not that I'm doubting new generation's talents, but to see Project Verose sending us these mentors who have a decade of experience and Moonbyul-ssi who has almost a half, they mean business!
WANG XIUYING [ YUEHUA ] : There are a lot of newly debuted idols who are also great at what they do, but these idols spent a lot of time in the industry already so I'm sure they wouldn't just help us, but they'll also share some things we'll have to keep in mind.

KEY [ PRO. REP ] : These mentors and I will be responsible for your growth in this competition. You may see us as nice and calm as of the moment, but there might be times where we can be very strict and honest but that is because we want to push you beyond your limits. What's a good mentor if all you're going to get are sugar coated words, right?
[ all of the mentors stare at the trainees one by one ]
DO HANA [ JYP ] : They're just staring at us but it's so scary...
KAM JIHAE [ JYP ] : I'm awkward staring at them like this, I feel like I have to kneel.
PROJECT VEROSE'S FIRST EVALUATION STARTS !
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : This first evaluation will determine which class do you belong to. A, B, C or F. The reason why we're doing this is because we want to train all of you in your current skill level. We don't want to put you into a class were you'll stick out for not being able to keep up with the others.
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : We'll be strict with our standards but remember that if you do not give up, you can still surprise us all in the re evaluation.
TENSION BEGINS TO FILL THE AIR AS THE MENTORS TOOK THEIR RESPECTIVE SEATS IN FRONT OF THE STAGE
AUDITION EVALUATION BEGINS !
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : [ flips a bunch of papers ] Normally, I would just ask who wants to go first, but seeing there are a lot of pink stickers, your confidence speaks for you so I guess I don't have to. I wonder how many can live up to expectations they're set for their selves. Should we now see?
HEO SOLJI [ V. MENTOR ] : Ah, this entertainment's debuts are promising.
GIRLS STEP ON STAGE ! THEY ARE TRAINEES FROM . . .

KEY [ PRO. REP ] : Let's get straight to business, shall we? This is Project Verose's special corner. You will see this corner appear every now and then. I wish we can do this all the time, but our budget is limited. (image limit)
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : Now what is this 'special corner' all about? All of Verose trainees will have a fair chance to be invited to this small corner for a one minute promotion of themselves. Within the limited time, they can show off their charms, introduce who they, create a 'title' they want to be called as, or even ask our Verose Producers to vote for them. But !
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : There are some who will get this opportunity earlier than others. Even though I said everyone will have a fair chance of getting an opportunity, let's just hope that when it's your favorite trainee's turn for a corner, the competition is not yet over, or she hasn't been eliminated yet.
KEY [ PRO. REP ] : Harsh, I know, but this is what they signed up for. To our Verose trainees, I hope you will make the most out of this corner because not only it will you get this chance once, it would also help our Verose producers to know your trainee a lot better !

it's hard to take care of 40 trainee's screen time so i introduce you to "special comers"! this is something i made up for one of my first applyfics way back in 2018, inspired by idol producer's specials. if this was your first encounter with it, i hope you got the way how it worked !
