"So, who do I have to fight?" Is the first thing Jeongin hears when he picks up the phone. He furrows his brows and pulls the phone away from his ear to look at the time, "Yes, I am aware that it's three in the morning." You confirm for him, "I just want to ask who do I have to fight?"
"Why?" Jeongin whined, rolling out of bed to not bother the others with the conversation. Jeongin walks into the living room area, and plops down on the couch, his eyes growing heavy with sleep.
"So, I'm watching Stray kids episode 4, because I'm trash for my friends and I'm just getting around to it and you're crying in this episode, so I'm just wondering, do you want me to fight JYP? The staff? Whoever, I'm ready and willing," You shrug receiving a light chuckle from the tired boy,
"I'm fine now noona, I promise," You hiss at the use of the word,
"You must've been in a really deep slumber, I've told you not to call me noona." Jeongin chuckles once again but you bring the conversation back to the reason you had called him. "Listen, I'm serious, I don't like to see my baby cry, I will stab someone for you, Jeonginie, you know I will," Jeongin's light laughter stops as he remembers the reason he had been crying. "I know we joke around a lit but if you ever need to talk, about anything you feel you can't take to your hyung's please come to me." Jeongin's breath hitches on the other side of the phone, as he feels tears fill his eyes at the thought. "Jeongin?"
"Yes, yes, I'm here," He sighs into the speaker and you can tell he was close to crying,
"Don't cry," You coo to your younger friend, "I love you," You giggle, and Jeongin smiles at your words, "I really do, I hate seeing you cry," Jeongin hadn't noticed it at first, his mind still laced with sleep but your voice was hoarse,
"Have you been crying?" He softly asks, wiping away his tears from his waterline,
"Yes! I don't like seeing you cry, it crushed my little heart," Jeongin feels himself tearing up again,
"You really do love me don't you?" He teases and you roll your eyes,
"You need new defense mechanisms, I'm sick of the games," A few stray tears roll down Jeongin's flushed cheeks and he prays you can't hear him sniffling. "That's it! I can hear you crying Yang Jeongin," He heard some shuffling on your end and a set of keys,
"Yah! What are you doing?" He laughed, tears still rolling down his cheeks.
"I'm coming over, we're going to talk, you will not move on feeling like this." You click your tongue as you grab a bag and shove your laptop in there, along with a few snacks. "We're going to watch a film or two, talk, eat," You explain your plains to him,
"Ah Y/N you really don't have to," He regrets ever helping you study for your license, "I'm just going to go back to sleep, you should do the same." You scoff on the other end of the phone,
"Okay, yeah, whatever you say," You set your phone down and Jeongin screws his eyes shit at the sound of a car starting up.
"You're serious?"
"Yes, now I'll talk to you when I get there, you know it's not safe to talk and drive. Love you!" You blow kisses at the phone and Jeongin shakes his head,
"I love you too...you crazy girl," You don't respond instead hang up, pulling out of the driveway, smiling as you make your way to the dorm.
"I think the fuck not, not my baby."
