I looked at Josh with our hands interlocked together, as we approached the lonely mansion I called home. My mother still wouldn't be 'home' for another month or so, I was so used to the empty feeling that was so familiar. Being alone. Before Josh actually came back into my life nothing really exhilarating had occurred in this town. I look again at Josh's grey eyes to my surprise looking back at me.
"It's Friday what should we do?"
"Do you want to stay?"
"I guess, I could beautiful"
"Okay, but I want you to stay the night with me though"
"Scar, I don't know, I don't want to do anything to hurt you"
"You won't, I want you to."
"Fine but I'm staying on the couch."
"It's no problem to stay in the guest room, you know."
"I'm cool with it."
I didn't quite understand how he was so curtious and kind to me like he loved me enough to wait. I looked at him with a fond smile, he actually caught me staring at him and threw the pillow at me.
"Looks like someone likes seeing my face"
"You wish I did, I wasn't even staring at you"
"Alright then so you wouldn't mind if I just"
He had stopped right in midsentence and bear hugged me. I couldn't help but smile and kiss him on the check. I thought I saw him smile back but he turned his face before I could actually get overexcited.
"We should call for pizza if you're hungry"
"I'm hungry all the time, Scar."
I called papa johns pizza and asked for pepperoni with the cheese crust.
"They said it'll take 10 mins; "
"In the mean time we should watch a movie."
"What movie do you wanna watch?"
"I'm fine with anything you want"
"Toy story!"
"That seems good to me."
"Ding!" "Dong!"
"The pizza's here, can you please get it for me."
"I will just don't start the movie without me"
"That'll be $12.50." Smirked the pizza girl
He handed her the money and before he could close the door she started flirting with him.
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
"No, but I'm not looking and plus my best friend and I are hungry so thanks"
With that he shut the door and put the pizza box on the coffee table.
"I didn't know that you thought of me as your best friend."
"Of course, how could I not, you're too amazing for words to describe"
"You actually think that?"
"Hell yeah I do, how can you not see it?"
"I don't know"
We started the movie and cuddled together while eating the pizza. In that moment everything was just so perfect I couldn't help but fall asleep in his arms while we were on the couch.
