Bella puts a piece of French toast in her mouth, smiling from the good tastes. Spencer smiles at her daughter.
Spencer "Good huh?"
Bella "Yeah!"
Markus "I told you I make good French toast."
Everyone at the table laughs. Alex notices her sister's silence for the rest of the meal. After they finish, she pulls her aside.
Alex "What's going on?"
Spencer "They got back together."
Alex, knowing who Spencer is referring to, sighs.
Alex "I'm sorry."
Spencer "I came all this way for her..."
Alex "Hey....I know how much you love her...and though everyone knows that you two should be together, don't ruin a relationship, let her be happy."
Spencer nods, shares a hug with her sister, and walks back to the guest room.
As hours pass, and the tall brunette denies any meals since breakfast, a thunderstorm outside jolts the trees which hit against the guest room window.
She goes home tomorrow, but she can't leave without her. She needs to try one last time to get her back. She looks at the clock, seeing that it's close to midnight. Spencer leaves the guest room, checks that Alex, Markus, and Mason are asleep, then grabs her keys and steps out into the rain.
