The summer break begins!
Now I'm just gonna relax and stay home to be a hermit or what not, just Netflix all day. But I must look for a summer job if I want to buy new things. So I haven't had a part time job since Forever so I hope they'll hire me, I mean I have an work ethic.
Just ok my MacBook scrolling down the job list of an local job site so it is much difficult then I anticipated.
"Ugh! At least an cashier opening. C'mon"I spat, exiting the job site and look for another one.
"Astrid, what you've been doing?"Mom enters my room with a disappointed look.
"Umm relaxing"I said, proudly.
"Look at you"She point out"still waiting Pyjamas since yesterday".
"Mom I can't find a job in this city, I tried"I protest.
"Alright fear but please don't stay inside all summer"She laughs and walks out.
It has been a difficult time to find a job, but then again it'd be a pain in the a$$ if I get a part time while doing schooling, but this summer I just want to make money for myself.
For many hours now I've been Netflixing on my MacBook as I have my snacks with me, I'm just cuddling myself as I wore my jammies and long sleeve just no care of the world.
Until I heard a thud on my window which I flinch and almost spilled my water, I mumbled, getting up from my bed and walk toward the window, as I open it up.
"What the f##k"I said, looking around and look down below seeing the Boy again, Hiccup.
"Hey Astrid!"he greets, waving at me.
"Hiccup?! What the heck, you could've just knock on the door or something"I said, resting my elbow on the edge.
"Why?! Did I interrupt something"He laughs"you look like you just woke up!".
"I'm resting!"I protest, as my hair is messing because I didn't comb this morning.
"Surrreee, you're gonna let me in?"He asked, politely.
I scoffed"fine! I'll be right down!"shutting my window as I walk over to my mirror looking at myself as I quickly comb my hair but I allow my shoe to be down anyways, I walk out of my room then went downstairs, turn to my left and unlock the door, allowing Hiccup inside the house.
"Oh now she comb her hair"He jokes, walking inside as I slap his shoulder.
"Shush!"I close the door as he follows me to the kitchen.
"Nice jammies"He teases, sitting next to me.
"You're lucky my Mom is at the back gardening"I said, sitting on the stool"and this is my alone time".
"Well sorry I interrupt your alone time"He said"I was int he neighborhood and decided to visit you, but since you're busy-"
"What? Oh no! I'm just bored of my life at this moment and yes, I do mind you visiting. My friends are at their summer jobs"I exaggerated.
"Still can't find one?"He asked.
I shook my head and lean back"no, I need experience. I'm that kind of person that doesn't experience working. Well I did volunteer for charity from time to time but I need-"
"Cash?"
"Yes"I flabbergasted, teaching over my glass of water to drink.
Hiccup then looks at me as he fidgeting is fingers, I gave him an odd look and ask"you have something to say?".
He reaches back of his neck as he rubs it slightly look up at me"I was wondering if you'd like to come to the beach with me".
I then choked in my drink as I cough"W-W-What??"
"Yeah, I mean it's a nice day today and I was wondering if you'd like to join me?"He smiles, as I slightly look down and put a strain of hair on my left ear.
"No! I ain't going!"I slam my cup on the table.
"C'mon Astrid it'd be fun! We're gonna meet the others if they want to join"Hiccup tells me.
"But it's hot outside!"I protest, putting my hands upon my wait"I will not go".
"Don't be chicken"He sang.
"How dare you! Nobody. Ever. Calls me. Chicken"I warn him, as I tap his chest with my finger pointing at him with my tiny glare.
"Whoa you're a cute one aren't you"He chuckles.
I sigh in defeat"fine! What the heck anyways".
He chuckles"Good".
"Let me pack some things"I went up stairs to my room while he wait at the living room.
"Nice Pyjamas though! Liking the dragons!"He complemented and chuckle at the same time
"That idiot"I grumbled, looking for my backpack.
How dare he come to my home and asking me to go beaching, I mean I just wanted to watch Netflix and chill. But noooooo he comes in my life.
~Beach~
He somehow got a car for some reason but it was nice driving to the beach as it is a nice day out, but I felt a little burn as well, I'am a hermit and the sun is too bright so I put on my sunglasses on.
Hiccup then looks over at me"you don't go out much don't you?".
I rolled my eyes and glance on the right side"I don't have that many friends to hang out".
"But you got me"He says, brightly.
I then slightly smile as he cannot see my smile, but this boy is something. But we're just friends after all.
As we got there we parked closely to the beach and saw everyone having a great time as I felt amazing being outside of my room.
As we grab our stuff we walk around the beach to find a perfect spot for our friends to share too since Hiccup invited them too, then finally we found a spot to relax on. I then place my bag on the beach table and stare over at the ocean and smile.
"It's so nice out here! The beach is exquisite!"I grin, looking at the waves.
"Not as exquisite as you"
"What?"
"What?"
I could of swore I heard Hiccup said that, but oh well I must continue on our little trip to the beach.
"But its hot as hell"Hiccup wipes his forehead.
"Wha-whaat are you doing?"I ask, stutteringly.
"Taking off my shirt, it's hot out here"He exclaimed, as he proceeds to take off his shirt.
I slightly blush as I was witnessing Hiccup top naked. I tried not to stare any longer but I couldn't resist looking and I'm only wearing short shorts and tank top, and a hat.
"Whew, that's more like it"He chuckles, glancing at me.
I was blushing hard as I couldn't get my eyes off him, don't look at him, don't look at him, don't look at him!
Oh my gosh! He has abs?!?!.
"Hey Astrid you're good?"He spoke up, waving his hand at my view.
I shake my head to reality"uhhh, yes! Yes! I'm good! I'm just hungry!".
"You seem buzz out for some reason"He looks at me oddly and smirk.
"Oh nothing, just thought of getting ice cream"I forced a smile.
"Well they should be here soon, we might as well set up"He suggested, going over the basket he carried.
As for me I just kept staring down at him with my embracing look. Ugh why do I have to feel this way.
"Ooooh Astrid get to see abs!".
I flinched, I turn around to see Elsa, Anna and Ruffnut.
"Girls! Welcome!"I said, enthusiastically.
"Hey"Ruffnut waves, placing down her purse"finally we're here!".
"How'd you get here so quick?"Anna asks me, as I look away.
"Uhh Hiccup, picked me up..."I said, nervously.
"Oooohhhhh. Get some love in there"Ruffnut teases.
"Oh shush! We're just friends"I protest, sitting on the bench.
"Brought your bathing suit at least?"Elsa scoffed.
"Y-Y-Yeah but-"
"Put it on!"Ruffnut encourages me.
My eyes went wide"f##ked that!! I will feel embarrass!".
"Why? I'm sure Hotcup will be amuse. I mean! Have you ever look at yourself lately?! You're gorgeous girl!"Anna says, cheerfully.
I wave my hand and express myself"oh please, I stay home watching Netflix. Compare to those popular girls".
"Oh it's not all that"Elsa says, sitting on the chair.
"Besides. You got a unique personality, you make Hiccup laugh, a silly bond too"Anna said, confidently.
I sit on the bench and look over at Hiccup as he talks with his friends.
I sigh"I wonder, I mean. He's just a boy. We're in high school. Relationships don't last in high school".
"That can't be true"Anna disagrees.
"Oh please, it happens. I experienced that before and I won't forget it because....never mind it's all in the past".
Anna and Elsa look at each other in confusion" what do you mean?".
"Oh Nothing"I said, ignoring the subject.
"C'mon tell us!"Anna urges me.
"I have spoken"I retorted.
Then all the girls just don't mind the subject anyways, but as we all were staring down at the beach, enjoying ourselves, admiring the other guys around with their six pack.
"I'd say 7 out of 10"Ruffnut said, pointing at the guy that is talking to his friend.
"Meh, 5 out of 10"Anna sighs.
"But he's cute"Ruffnut point out.
"But not my type"Anna shrugs.
"So since we're here, are we gonna swim or what?"Ruffnut said, impatiently.
"Let's go then!"Anna goes with Ruffnut at the water as me and Elsa we're just comforting with the sun.
"Man I can't stand the sun, I miss the winter feeling"Elsa sighs, using her fan to cool herself.
"You like the cold?"I questioned.
"Well yeah, I always love the cold, unlike the hotness"She said, applying her sun block lotion.
His the grab some and just look at Hiccup again and thought about how our relationship is going to be, but hardly I just have to be patient and focus on my education.
"No time for boys"I said to myself.
