Alaïa
You know that feeling waking up and just feeling like complete crap because you realize it's Monday and school starts again
That's me right now
I'm Alaïa Martinez and my dad thought it would be a good idea to move to another country far, far away from the people I trust and call my friends
I groan standing up and going into my own bathroom in this big house
My father got promotion in his job and he needed to move for it and the good daughter I am moved with him
Or I just wasn't old enough to live on my own...
But I think its the first option.
After taking a shower I wrap a towel around my body and walk towards my walk-in closet
I decide to wear some black jeans with a white top which says 'more love, less hate'.
I groan grabbing my bag and walking down the stairs
"Goodmorning sweetheart, slept well?" my dad asks
I mumble some unhearable words in response throwing my bag on the couch and sitting down in the dining room where I wait for my dad to feed me something
"I take that as an okay" my dad laughs and places a plate of pancakes in front of me
I lick my lips and start putting syrup on. I start eating as I grab my phone playing best fiends. damn that game is addicting
My brother walks down the stairs, his eyes almost closed
"Good morning brother," I say to my brother, Jake as I give him my sweetest smile and he just mumbles some words into my direction before sitting down next to me
Rude
You are probably wondering if I'm nervous to go to this new school, where I know no one, and probably will die
of course..., not
On my last school, you could kind of call me popular. And no I was not one of those popular bimbos who has the longest nails in the whole world and practically sleeps around with everything that has a dick
I was one of those people who got straight A's and survived school with her 2 best friends
My friends are everything to me. If you hurt them, you hurt me and I will fight you
I am one to say what I want to say so I always did and I guess that was what made me kind of popular
And now I'm a nothing all over again
Nice.
I finish my pancakes, grab my bag and make my way to the door putting a kiss on my brothers and dads cheek on the way
I put in my earphones and listen to one direction made in the am album as I walk towards school still not being able to drive a car
Damn me for sucking at life
I finally reach my new school and look around nervously.
I look at my phone searching for the mail which explained what I needed to do when I came into this school
As I kept walking, my eyes on my phone I walk into someone making me fall right onto my bum
"Auch" I hiss standing up and looking at the person I walked into which happened to be a really good looking boy
Well, damn me again.
"I'm sorry," I say expecting him to say its okay and say he's sorry too or to smile at me but instead he did the exact opposite
"Watch were you're going" he growls lowly as he reaches for his bag which fell in the process of walking into each other
"I said I was sorry, at least be a little nice would you, "I say quit annoyed by his attitude
"Did I ask you to tell me what to do? No, I didn't so just watch your step" he says and walks away
"Don't worry he's like that to everyone," a voice behind me says and I turn around meeting a pretty girl with brown hair and bright blue eyes
"Well what a bitch he is" I mumble and she laughs
"I'm Skylar" she sticks her hand out and I shake it giving her a smile
"I'm Alaïa, it's nice to meet you"
"Yeah you too, I'm guessing you're new here" she questions and I nod
"Do you know your schedule already or do you need to pick it up?" Skylar asks
"I got a mail. I needed to go to the reception thingie but I have no idea where it is" I laugh awkwardly
"Oh don't worry I'll lead you" she smiles and starts walking slowly as I follow her
She helps me get my schedule and I almost start crying when I see how my day is going to be
mathematics, history, art, English, geography and to end the day I had 2 hours of physical education
"what are you starting with," Skylar asks me looking at my schedule
"Math, I feel like crying" I sigh
"I feel you, but luckily you have a class with me," she says and grabs my hands excited
well it may be mathematics but it is mathematics with my new crazy friend

Sitting in math class was not as bad as I thought.
Skylar came into class with me and she invited me to sit next to her and her friend Valencia which I gladly accepted.
The teacher still hadn't shown up which was probably the whole reason why class was not that bad, and after 10 more minutes of my whole new math class screaming and being loud a woman walks in telling us that the teacher was stuck in traffic making us have a free period for the rest of class time making everyone scream in joy
everyone leaves the classroom and so do I
"What do you want to do this hour" I hear someone behind me ask
I turn around and see Skylar and Valencia
"I honestly don't have any idea" I laugh
"Some of our friends also have a free period. You want to go and meet them?" Valencia says looking at her phone and then at me
"Yeah sure, I guess"
"Relax, they are all nice. They will like you for sure" Skylar says and smiles
I smile back at them and the girls start walking as I follow close behind.
We were laughing and talking while walking to the school doors as Skylar told me they were hanging around outside
"By the way," Skylar starts "be careful around the boy you walked into this morning. He's someone who thinks he's everything. He's only using girls for sex and they don't even care. All they want is to be involved with him"
" Don't worry, I already thought that he wasn't a nice person."
We walk out of the door and I see a group of people sitting and laughing under a tree
I hope they think I'm nice
We walk towards the group
"Hey guys," Skylar says and waves to everyone
Everyone replies with a hey or hai
"Guys this is Alaïa, she's new here" Skylar introduces me to the group and I give everyone a little wave and the most awkward smile I got
I hear a view "heys" and "hey Alaïa" and I realize I already saw some of them in class
"Sooo," someone says grabbing my shoulder. I look at my shoulder and see Valencia. She walks me towards the group more and points at a boy
He had dark brown hair and beautiful blue eyes
"This is my boyfriend. He's a big boy and I hope he can introduce himself" she smiles and the boy laughs
"I'm Xander, it's nice to meet you Alaïa" he smiles and shakes my hand
"You too Xander, "I say and he smiles again before grabbing Valencia by her arm and pulling her into his chest

2 other boys come walking towards me
"Hey, I'm James and this is Elijah," says a boy with brown hair and light brown eyes
The other boy who was called Elijah had brown hair with blue eyes
"James I could introduce myself" I hear Elijah mumble and I see James rolling his eyes
"I just wanted to be nice, suck it up you hoe," he says and I gasp at the aggressive language he uses
Elijah looks at me before standing by my side instead of James's
"Please be my new best friend, mine sucks," he says and throws his arm over my shoulder pulling my tiny body into his
I laugh and look at James who rolls his eyes again and walks away
"So my dear new best friend, how's life," he says and I really wonder how he could best befriend someone so quick
"I'm doing well, thanks Elijah" I giggle and he smiles proudly sticking out his tongue to James who is looking at us with a boring look
After everyone introduced themselves we started talking and laughing about things which weren't even funny. We were all having fun till Skylar taps me on the shoulder
"You got history now, right?"
I nod and she tells me she has the same subject
"Guys we got history right now, see you later," Skylar says and we leave the group
Inside the school, Skylar grabs her phone
"Shit Alaïa, we're running late," she says. We started fast-walking since our classroom was on the other side of the school
While walking I look at my phone seeing we were already 5 minutes late
Dad is going to kill me if he finds out
Putting away my phone I look up but not before I crash into someone, again
I curse and look up to meet brown eyes. As I realize it is the boy I walked into this morning I curse silently and hold my head down low
I quickly take a look at Skylar and with her eyes, she tells me to quickly walk away but as I try to a hand grabs my upper arm
"Where do you think you're going," he says and I mutter a quick "shiznuzzles" before looking him into his eyes
God why does he have to be so beautiful
"Shawn, just let her go, we're already running late" I hear Skylar say.
So the boy is called Shawn
"Do I look like I care??" he says rolling his eyes only tightening his grip around my arm
"Looks like we meet again" he whispers in my ear
"What happened to you hating my guts for something you actually did," I say as he laughs dryly
"Mike, get the other girl to her class," he says and I finally realize another boy standing behind him.
The boy nods and Skylar walks away mouthing a sorry to me
I smile lightly before she is fully out of sight leaving me with the beautiful looking asshole
"Can you like, let go of my arm?" I say
"Of course not" he smirks not letting go at all
"I need to get to class, Shawn," I say using his name letting him know that I know who he is
"Again, do I look like I care"
"Well maybe you don't but I do so if you just, let, go" with every word I try getting my arm out of his grip but damn those muscles weren't only for show
He watches me with amusement before chuckling and letting go
"Let me remind you again, don't walk into me again or you will have bigger problems than me holding onto your arm," he says before walking away
I start walking away too but not before I realize
That I did not know where my next class was
