livmason hey everyone, I know it's been a while since I've posted anything, and I feel terrible about it. You guys are the best and as fans, you deserve an explanation. The truth is, I needed a break from the internet. All these stories were circulating about my personal life and taking a step back, I was hurt by the articles and news headlines. I took the time away for an evaluation about my life, and what image I was showing to my fans and anyone who follows me.
I'll say it again, I was hurt. And I couldn't brush it off anymore. It was time I faced the rumors. You all can believe what you want, but I know the truth and I know my value. No one else's opinions really matter.
But I posted to express my gratitude towards these dorks❤️
They were there when I stumbled and helped me pick up the pieces. Dyl showed me the #weloveolivia trend and I bawled into his shirt when I read through your messages.
Thank you for letting me play Sierra and being an influence in this big world. I love you all so much and thanks once again, for being patient with me during my time off.

"You're telling me you just forgot about your cousin's wedding?"
"Okay, in my defense-"
"Honey, you don't have a defense!" Olivia's mom, Caroline, argued with her on the phone. "You're closer to Jack than the rest of us and you know how much he wants you to be there."
Olivia let out a sigh, running a stressed hand through her hair while she sat in her trailer. "I'm not sure I can, Mom! We're right in the middle of filming and the wedding is on a Friday, which is usually when we all stay late for night shots."
"So you're saying you're not even going to try to come home? We haven't seen you since Easter, dear."
"I'm not saying I won't try," Olivia lowered her voice that had risen, hearing the sadness in her mother's tone. "But I can't promise anything. I know I was scheduled to film something with Dylan and Tyler."
Caroline's ears perked at the names. "Oh I miss Tyler! I haven't seen him in ages."
Olivia laughed, "Probably because he's kind of scared of you."
"Hey, it's not my fault I thought you two were dating."
"Mom, he has a girlfriend."
"Well, if they ever break up and you catch feelings, know that I approve — even with his tattoos."
"Mom!"
"What?"
"I am not going to catch feelings for Tyler," Olivia told her slowly so she'd understand how serious she was. "He acts like my brother and we're just best friends."
"I thought Dylan was your new best friend now?"
"Oh my god," Olivia groaned, smacking her forehead with the palm of her hand. "They're both my best friends! In fact, I have like five."
"You know, I still haven't met Dylan," her mother thought aloud. "Why is that? Every time where your father and I could've met him, we didn't. You always told us he was busy or not there. But now, I see you posting about him a lot— even after you told me you hated him."
Olivia felt her cheeks burn instantly. "I never said that I hated him," she mumbled under her breath.
"Not specifically no, but your choice of...colorful words gave me everything I needed to know. So, what changed? Are you two dating now? Oh my goodness, is this like one of those books where you hate one another and then fall in love? Because I've seen pictures of him and he's very handsome so-"
"This is not like a book!" Olivia interrupted before her mother could ramble anymore crazy ideas. "And for your information, we've moved past the bickering and pranks. We talked it through like adults."
"Wow."
"Wow, what?"
"I just never thought you'd make a responsible decision before you hit twenty-five."
Olivia's jaw dropped open. "Mom!"
"Could you blame me for being surprised?" Her mom questioned. "You were a rambunctious child, Olivia."
"I've lived in California for years now, in the spotlight. Now, am I drug addict?"
"Not that I know of."
"Oh my god. Anyways, am I pregnant?"
"Again, not that I know of," Caroline repeated.
"Jesus fu- anyways," Olivia stopped herself from cursing and inhaled deeply before she focused on the topic at hand. "You know I make good decisions, I always have. Dylan and I talked everything through at a park, bonded over smoothies and now we're friends— great friends actually."
"Awe," Caroline cooed.
Olivia straightened her back, alarmed. "What? No, 'awe'-ing."
"Why not?"
"Because...it's just complicated, alright?"
Caroline recognized the uncertainty in her daughter's voice. "You like him, don't you?"
"No!" Olivia retorted quickly but then as a silence ensued, doubts from her heart weaved their way into her head. "Possibly? Okay, maybe.....yes." Defeated, Olivia fell back against the couch and buried her face in her free hand. "I told you it was complicated."
"Well un-complicate it," her mother suggested. "He can be your date to Jack's wedding."
"Absolutely not!"
"Because?"
"B-B-Because," Olivia stuttered, racking her brain for an excuse. "I didn't RSVP and I told you I might not be able to go."
"Emphasis on the word might."
"Mom."
"Olivia."
"I can't ask him to be my date! If I do, he might think I like him and I'm not even sure he feels the same way about me anymore because of our past history and we're at a really good place right now-" Olivia rambled, the worry causing panic to course through her veins.
"Olivia, breathe."
Olivia closed her eyes and did as she was told but was still firm, "I-I just can't invite him, okay? It would ruin everything."
"Friends go to weddings together all of the time," Caroline attempted to ease her mind. "It doesn't have to be a date if you don't want it to be. But, if you're stressing that he doesn't feel the same way, I'd double check the logic. I saw what he posted about you today, honey. He cares about you. A lot."
"You follow him on Instagram?"
Caroline demanded, "Is that the only thing you understood from my speech?"
"No, I listened, you just following him is weird," Olivia made a face, grateful her mom couldn't see her. One thought stuck out to her. "You really think it's a good idea to ask him?"
"I do, but it's your decision, dear."
Olivia let out a heavy breath and then said, "I still have to get permission to go home and ask him to come with me. He might not want to come."
Olivia heard her mom snort, stating, "Yeah, okay."
The girl rolled her blue eyes, but then widened her pupils once she caught sight of the time. "Hey, Mom?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm supposed to be in wardrobe ten minutes ago."
"Okay, well then just text me when you find anything out," her mother reminded. "I love you, honey."
"I love you too, Mom. I'll message you as soon as I hear the results."
Olivia hung up, and then walked quickly over to the door to her trailer, preparing to race across the set. She flung it open, not expecting her gaze to meet familiar brown eyes.
"Hey," Dylan brightened at the sight of her, lowering his hand, "I was just about to knock. Anna was looking for you."
"And I owe her a deep apology," Olivia told him, jumping off her steps and grabbing his hand.
He let out a laugh as they started to run back where he came from. "So, tell me, did you fall asleep watching Beauty and the Beast again?"
"That was one time!" Olivia argued. "I'll have you know I was talking to my mom and just lost track of time."
"Oh, that's nice. You guys talk about anything interesting?"
"Nope."
